Description of Work: Kurt came out to do an estimate on work I need done. I really wanted to have the toilet repair and he was kind enough to bring the needed part and fix the toilet. Then he only wanted to charge me for the part. I could not believe my ears as in the 30 years as a homeowner I have so many handymen charge me outrageous prices for five minute job and look me straight in the face.

Description of Work: Kurt was amazing!! He hung 7 light fixtures, one of which he had to remove a can light and repair the drywall. He then had to cut a new hole and hang the new fixture. He was neat and cleaned up after himself as he moved around the house. My grand daughter was his sidekick all day! He even let her help out every now and then. I just found my go to man!!!

Description of Work: He installed new tile around the bathtub/shower, replaced a sink, installed a new lighting fixture, installed new vinyl flooring in the bathroom, repaired and painted a small area of drywall, regrouted some slate tiles.

Description of Work: 1930's brick home. Plumbing - repaired / replaced supply and drain lines to three sources in house, added shut off valves. Electrical - installed bathroom ceiling fan. Drywall - repaired holes in original walls (morter and lathe). Foundation repair - installed jacks and reinforced joists. Masonry - rebuilt front steps (brick and morter).

 + -1 moreHe was fast and knew what he was doing. His work was meticulous. The job he was doing was very straight forward and I had given up on it as another plumber hadn’t done it right but he did it right. I would recommend him. The price he charged for the job he did was very reasonable.

New ice cube maker installation. Attic ladder installation. Attic light installation. Several more minor projects.
Description of Work: Kurt is amazing. He works by the hour and gets more down for less than any other Handyman in the area. He is always on time, works hard, has a great attitude and is always willing to educate the customer about what he is doing, why, and how it can be done on your own. Description of Work: I remodeled two bathrooms, and used Kurt to do a good portion of the work. This included laying new ceramic tile flooring and baseboard moulding, installing new cabinets /countertops /faucets, and replace toilet hardware.

 + 0 moreKurt was awesome --- RIGHT on time, SUPER friendly, very considerate regarding my time and respecting our home. I had just worked an overnight shift, and he made an effort to make as little noise as possible. The work was truly artistry --- Some of the work was simple painting and looked great, but some of it involved recreating a pattern in the ceiling and that was no easy task. It looks as good as new. I was very impressed. Oh, he also was told the wrong paint color to bring by our builder, and he somehow made it work --- the color ended up matching perfectly. We didn't have to pay for the work, so I can't comment on value, but quality and customer service were excellent.
Description of Work: We had to have our walls/ceiling cut out to find a water leak, and Kurt did the final stages of the repair: Sanding down the drywall, painting it, replacing the baseboard, and making a patterned ceiling look normal again.

 + 0 moreKurt responded to our initial phone call promptly. He was very friendly and came when he said he would. He gave us a quote with a couple different options to choose from. We asked him to do it and we only waited a couple of weeks for him to start. He actually came on time and did a great job. He worked two days and was finished. He was so nice to work with and we couldn't be happier. Everything looks professional. There are no complaints about anything.
Description of Work: Kurt repaired a 3' square area in ceiling. He removed all damaged drywall, replaced insulation and installed 9 square feet of new drywall. He finished it for painting. In another bedroom he replaced an 8'x12' wall that had been damaged and finished it ready to paint.
