Whether you are looking for new kitchen cabinets or just a piece of trim you can’t find, we will be happy to help you here at Fairfield Woodworks. Our family ran business has been serving the central Ohio area for 45 years. We build total custom made cabinets using only the best material available. If you want your cabinets to really stand out and look like they belong in your home instead of looking like they came straight out of a box, Fairfield Woodworks will be the best place to look for all your cabinet needs. You can bring in your blueprints to our showroom or we can come to your home or business. We will make a 3D computerized drawing of your custom cabinets. During the building process of your cabinets, we can come in to your home or shop and work with you to decide the layouts for doors, drawers, etc., while we have your cabinets set up to the layout of your room in our shop. We also specialize in custom trim packages including: casing, baseboard, doors, and stair parts among many other items. We can make your trim in any wood species you require. We have about two hundred different styles of doors made with solid wood. We can also take your trim package and pre-finish it in our shop facilities. This way your cabinets and trim package go through the same finish room whether you want your trim and cabinet colors to match or just compliment each other. We custom mix all of your wood stain colors and don’t use any standard colors so you can get exactly what you want. Come in and visit us at our new showroom design center where we can show you all of the differences between custom made and factory made cabinets. We are located at 1612 E. Main St. in Lancaster across from Tim Horton’s. We are open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and other hours by appointment. We tried to use this business. They came out and measured, gave us a quote and when we tried to schedule an appointment to make our selection and pay a deposit, they never responded. Blew us off, did not bother to call, email or text. Waste of our time and delayed our project. I do not care how busy you are, you have the time to call and say we are too busy to take on your job. So unprofessional. Never again.

Fairfield Woodworks did a fantastic job of building my custom kitchen cabinets. They are absolutely beautiful! The cabinets are a much better quality than the ones from big box stores; and surprisingly, they are very comparable in price. The cabinets are built to fit the space and no fillers are used, unlike with store bought cabinets. Jed Smith was very easy to work with; and after speaking to him about what I wanted, he was able to draw up plans (and offer suggestions) that worked perfectly in my rectangular shape kitchen. Jed was prompt and professional in returning my calls and in having the cabinets completed in a timely manner. Jed personally installed the cabinets and corrected any issues that arose. I will use Fairfield Woodworks again if needed, and I will definitely recommend them to others needing cabinetry.

When we decided to go ahead with the kitchen remodel. We had several quotes and was never completely satisfied with some of the answers we got about cabinets. Our house was built in 1968 and needed special attention to detail. We saw the sign in Lancaster of the Fairfield Wood Works and made an appointment to talk to Jed. We were pleased with what we saw and heard. Measurements of the appliances were taken so that the everything fit right. Cabinets were ready when the contractor had finished the rest of the kitchen and Jed came and installed them. Perfect fit - very happy.
Description of Work: We had a complete remodel of our kitchen. Our custom made cabinets were done byFairfield Wood Works. The cabinets were beautiful and fit perfect. We had the opportunity to see the cabinets as they were being made and was impressed by the attention to every detail. All phone calls were returned and follow up was made. We would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: On 1/17/2011I stopped in to inquire about a custom cabinet we needed for our bathroom. The gentleman in the shop said that his son was out, but he accepted a drawing and invited me to take samples for the top of the cabinet. He said this was the type of work they did and that they would accept the job. We talked about the cost and were on the same page as far as price range. The son was to call later that day or a few days later, on Thursday, to set up an appointment to measure. No call came. I called again on Friday and again, was promised a call that day or the next week. No call came. We were anxious to get our job scheduled, and were disappointed that the contacts we were promised never materialized.
