I called to have septic pumped, new risers installed and help locating exactly where the tank, discharge line and leach bed was at so that I could plan an addition project for my new house. Instead I got to listen to a 10 minute slamming of a competitor, the county officials, and then he hung up on me when I asked him a question related to why I called in the first place. NOT PROFESSIONAL at all.

This guy is as crooked as they come. He charged me $4500.00 to replace 2 of my sewage lines going out to my septic tank. He replaced one of them, left all the torn out plumbing laying all over my yard, and never showed back up and quit answering any of my calls. To be honest with you. I should've seen this coming when he said he would start work on my house on superbowl Sunday, then must have remembered later on that it was the superbowl and called me with some nonsense excuse about his helper refusing to come with him because he wanted to watch the game. The entire time he worked on my house I never once saw him bring an employee however, he did bring his wife with him to jobs to help him. When I initially called this guy to ask him why he had not completed my job he said that the price he quoted me what on to replace one line. I called around to several different plumbing companies after he told me this and they all say that this guy ripped me off and that he has a reputation for doing so. The most insulting part is that I called him 3 times after he left the plumbing discarded all on my side yard and he told me he would come out twice to get it and then just never showed up. I'm a 25 year old guy with a pregnant wife. We live paycheck to paycheck and what this guy did to us was so unethical. Do not use this guy's under any circumstances hire this guy.

The 1x tank pumping and 2x filter cleaning was fine. When it actually got done mind you. No shows, no returned calls, no respect for other people's time or schedules. Pretty much the same deal as everyone else. How is this person still in business!?! We wised up and finally hired a different company. So glad we did.

Overall, I think I like the owner/operator and, particularly for tank pumping I think they're very efficient and give good service. However, it was challenging. I'd had a (very bad) 'landscape' contractor who'd damaged the septic-tank lift-pipe that feeds out to the leach field, as well as possibly damaged my leaching beds (that's another story). I reached out to Elite about it. I have an out-of-area cell# having recently moved full-time to OH, and Elite didn't answer the phone to me, and didn't call back even though I'd left a message. I kept trying and eventually got a pick-up. I was explaining the awful disaster the landscaper had left me with, and I think the Elite owner didn't understand, because he became very, very hostile, and then oddly said I should probably get someone else - I managed to communicate in the end that I wasn't defending the landscaper or his competence/knowledge, but that I was trying not to get caught in a fight over what he'd done, and Elite agreed to fix the pipe. They cancelled, I think twice, and then eventually came late one evening and started work. The owner works hard and his girlfriend assists him, and it seems to me that they work long hours juggling many people's work trying to keep up - kudos for the work ethic. They put-in a new pipe, and it works, and I was happy with the work, and having had a chance to talk with them face-to-face, I like the owner of Elite, I think he's a genuine guy. Some problems though: They'd had to cut through two drainage pipes to put in the new sewer line, and while he replaced a section of one, he said he'd come back and wanted to put-in a 'clean-out' on the other intersection, and he was going to do it 'for free', and so left the 3ftx3ftx2ft hole in the yard. He'd also put-in an inverted U-section of pipe in the lift-station of my septic tank, so as to raise the pump removal wire higher, but I found that a joint on that pipe is failing, bleeding effluent whenever the pump activates. He also smashed the switch-box riser diffing the trench. It's been two months now and, although I'd called them four-or-so times, they never did come back and put-in the 'clean-out', and I had to repair that drainage pipe and back-fill the hole myself. They also never fixed the U-pipe he installed, and that joint will, eventually, fail completely of course - that's perhaps the most disappointing part, because I'll probably then end-up with an emergency call-out to repair what was, after all, a change to the piping that Elite did as a 'precaution' and wasn't actually required for laying the new lift-pipe. I know they've driven-by at least because while I was away they dumped a replacement switch-box riser on my grass, but didn't install it. So, mixed feelings. For sure, I would have Elite come and pump my tank, and maybe even install some inspection rise-hatches we'd talked about. I decided that I like the contractor and I appreciate his passion for doing sewer work right and not having cowboys touch your system. But I'd be lying if I said the finishing was satisfactory, because honestly it isn't. I think I just wish that he'd not said he was going to do things he never 'had time' to come back an do, so I knew I had to take care of them, and I wish he'd not put-in the u-section 'for convenience' if it was then going to be left in this state of inevitable failure. So, mixed feelings.

Description of Work: Cleaned sand trap for septic system. Cleaned trap ok but needed called to remind that he was to do job. Was on contract and he said phone crashed and he lost all contacts. Then was late and never called to let me know he wasn't coming. When he finally showed up late evening to work he didn't have chlorine tablets with him. Took three weeks or longer to get tablets and his bill. He sent his girlfriend to pick up payment. Not very professional. Am changing companies.

Overall, we were pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of the company representatives. The job was difficult, on an (unplanned) steep hill and with considerable digging required to reach the top of the septic tank. Cleaning did not resolve the blockage and Jeremy(?) helped by working back through the potential areas for us to address. The only negative was that he did not clearly indicate to us that the septic lines were not to code, an issue discovered with further investigation of the blockage.

I called on a Tuesday afternoon because my septic system was backing up into my yard. Mr. Morris came out that day to give an estimate and was there bright and early the next day. It rained from the moment they arrived, but that did not stop them. Both men were respectful and hardworking. In fact, I had a water line put in by a different company a month before, but there was a large amount of dirt that did not go back into the trench, leaving the bulk of the hole unfilled. Mr. Morris took the time to fill in the old trench and sift through to pull out large rocks. When the job was finished, and the new trench was filled, the ground was almost completely even. I was very pleased!
