Description of Work: Countertops. Their prices were a bit high. We were very new to the whole granite/quartz debate. The sales woman at the showroom wasn't very clear or helpful on how the pricing for each worked. There was quite a wait before any work could begin. We ultimately went with another company

The gentlemen that installed our countertops and cabinets were very professional and did a wonderful job. They did excellent work and my kitchen looks much better than it did before the remodel. They were punctual, considerate, and always cleaned up prior to leaving for the day. I highly recommend this company.

From the very first contact on giving an estimate to completing the contract for the work to actually completing the work itself all people associated with Campbell's Countertops were very helpful and professional. They started the work on the day we were scheduled and stayed with the job until it was completed. They also completed addons that we requested during the work. There were no problems during the entire procedure. In fact the work was completed way earlier than we expected!!!
Description of Work: Removed old Kitchen and Half Bath Cabinets and Countertops and disposal of old materials. I dealt mainly with two of the owners, Jeff Campbell and his wife, Mitch. It is difficult to know where to begin. Probably the easiest thing would be to just list every positive and glowing adjective I can summon and call it a day, but it seems in the and quot;sampleand quot; reviews they want a more detailed approach. First, Campbell's Countertops was working in a house built in 1925. It took me weeks to decide if I just wanted to replace the Corian sink, which had cracked in 2 spots and was leaking and was sealed to the Corian countertop....easily fixed by having them put in a drop-in stainless sink...or...replacing the whole works. If I wasn't in their showroom, I was calling them. They were so patient with me I couldn't believe it. Finally, I chose to do a granite counter. Campbell's had a granite company in Columbus they work with. I supplied the SS Krauss sink. I couldn't decide on a faucet and once again, Jeff and quot;helpedand quot; me like the one that was appropriate. Of course, as usual, he was right and I am loving the faucet. Everything was flawless...all the paperwork, the bids...plural there as I changed my mind from a 4and quot; to a 6and quot; backsplash. There was no penalty for making the change and the cost of moving the electrical outlets was $100.00. Who could possibly find that unreasonable?! As far as skim coating, I have no idea how many coats they did.....but it was a lot...and they would come back to sand between coats. I was without use of my kitchen for only 3 days, which I think is amazing. Also, Jeff didn't feel and quot;quite rightand quot; about the sturdiness of the sink base so the next thing I know he shows up with all this lumber and practically re-builds the entire area! Would I hire them again? In A Heartbeat !! I would make something up just because they are all (Mitch, Jeff, John and Craig) so absolutely lovely to work with. Finally, it is all gorgeous! Perfect! If anyone is considering using this company and for some reason is hesitating, please feel free to contact me. Again, I cannot sing their praises high enough....a painless process which ended in a very pleased customer.
Description of Work: They were hired to remove a cracked sink and counter top from the kitchen, tear out and remove anything superfluous, Including a large "kitchen appliance garage" and haul away all the debris. There was a new granite counter top to be installed, with a 6" backsplash which made it necessary to raise 3-4 electrical outlets. Also included in the bid was to skim coat the area between the top of the backsplash to below the upper cabinets, to prepare it for painting by another contractor. And to install and have running a new garbage disposer!

Jeff Campbell came out to measure and give an estimate. He brought brochures showing the variety of products that were available. He explained the pros and cons of each product (granite, Corian, Formica). After we decided on Corian, he suggested we pick up samples of the various colors we liked and look at them at home. We met again later that week to choose edges for our counters, sign a contract and paid half as a down-payment. John Campbell and his help came on a Monday to remove the old counters and sink. He explained exactly what would happen throughout the week: Mon - removal, Weds - a rough fit of the unfinished counters, Fri - finished counters installed. This is exactly what happened. By Friday, we had new countertops, and kitchen sinks! After living with our new counters for a week, I noticed that I kept bumping our small counter near the refrigerator. We called, John came out, took the counter back to the shop and rounded the counter for us - for free!! We are delighted with their service!
Description of Work: Campbell's remove the old countertops, fabricated & installed new Corian countertops & sink in our kitchen.
