My first meeting with Travis went very well and I really liked him. But as the project progressed, he was less and less "on" our project and I often had to work with his assistant or the people sent over to do the work. I guess this was to be expected, but you pay a lot for the work done as now, 10 years later, I can see that the quality just wasn't there. Especially in the kitchen. The textured paint that I paid A LOT for is starting to peel. The bookshelves put in near the fireplace are showing cracks. And the cabinet work done in the kitchen was really sub-par. Some of the cabinets were cracked due to the relocation of them and Brent Moore did not do very good work at all. I know it's been a long time since we had the work done, but I just wanted to vent over the quality of work done compared to the price we paid.

Travis is an absolutely amazing designer but it comes with a steep price. And I?m not talking about money. Besides being a great designer he is a terrible businessman. My wife and I spent roughly $40,000 with Travis over a 18 month period. For each project, the deadline was NEVER met, and there were too many broken promises. Infact, once my wife would call Travis to inquire about something, magically it would happen in the next week. We were never a priority for Travis and that was apparent. Maybe we needed to spend more money or have a bigger project. Once we became upset with Travis?s way of doing business his mood and personality quickly changed. He carried an attitude, and became even more distant from the work we had authorized and keeping with deadlines. He would continually make excuses for vendors not doing something right or timely?.it was never his fault. He would not return calls or texts and did a good job at distancing himself from us?his clients. While the results are impeccable, it?s NOT worth the hassle.
