Top Shelf Transformations

I interviewed and obtained estimates from several garage floor installers over the phone. In the end, Tom from Top Shelf was the only one I had come out to provide a written quote since I already knew from our phone conversation that he would be my top candidate. After getting the quote and grilling him with a few more questions on the product, he won the job. Part of my decision was based on his experience in installing a couple of garage storage products that I intended to purchase and needed installed. The job went very well. Tom was great to work with and quick to address any concerns I had (came back a week later to re-do stem wall since the cinder block soaked up the first 2 base coats and re-do the top coat along the outside edge of the garage). Only time will tell as fas as how the product and installation hold up, but for not the garage floor looks great.

Our garage looked like a hoarder's den and we were in desperate need of more space. We are not allowed to put sheds up in our neighborhood and adding an addition wasn't an option. When we researched garage organizers from Lowe's and Home Depot, we were quickly overwhelmed. We're handy, but we didn't even know where to begin with designing the systems we needed! When Robin came for the first consultation, I had her design a "dream" garage. How could we get the most out of the space? In the end, for what we were getting, the "dream" garage wasn't out of reach! We even have room to add on if we need to--you can add storage above the garage door, basically all the way up to the ceiling. Now, all of our bikes, toys and tools are hung in layers along the wall--a very efficient and impressive system. Plus, we gained all sorts of heavy-duty shelves up top. This allowed us to ditch the dilapidated shelving that came with the house. We're very pleased and have spent a lot of time out in the garage tonight admiring our new system.
