Slawinski Plumbing & Maintenance

Dave and Stan came out on Monday to look at all the jobs needing attention. They took measurements and made a parts list. We discussed an estimate ($125 per hour for two guys for approx. 2 hours ($250), plus parts). We scheduled for the following day, but both he and I had water back-ups in our basements from the rain/flash flood so we scheduled for Wednesday. They came back and in two hours had all the jobs finished and cleaned! He gave me an "Angie's List" discount of $20! The final bill was $299. They did a great job explaining all their work and I was totally happy I did not have to tackle these projects myself! Thanks guys!

Job 1: I called them on Thur. & asked if they could install kitchen faucets for me before the weekend. They worked me into the schedule & showed up on time. They ran into difficulty removing the old fixtures, ended up using a reciprocating saw & a blowtorch. They also had to remove the large disposal to get to the pipes. They installed the new faucets, flexible connections & shutoff valves. They cleaned up the area under the sink & even cleaned/shined my sink before they left. They took all the debris with them & didn't even use my wastebasket. The job was done quickly. I ll definitely hire them again. Job 2: I discovered my toilet tank leaking early Sat. morning. I called & again, he made time in his busy schedule for me. He was on time. He got right to work & replaced the supply line w/a new flexible line. He only took abt 15 min. from the time he pulled into the drive until he left. He cleaned up all debris, the area was water tight & clean. I m quite pleased w/his quality of work.

Called and requested an estimate for work and set up an appointment. David and Stanley came on time, were friendly and did an excellent job. They worked very fast and cleaned up everything. I would definitely hire again.

This is not a traditional pipe cleaning job, and he was able to handle the situation very well and charged us only $10 more than originally quoted to us for a part required for the work.

Dave came out (at no charge) on a Saturday to provide an estimate and was able to complete the work the following week. Dave and Stanley were very thorough, professional and fairly priced. We recently moved to this area and will now call on Slawinski's plumbing for all of our plumbing needs. We are very pleased with the service and a job well done!

They were prompt, courteous, answered all my questions, and explained what they were doing. They achieved the work in one hour, they were very professional and they cleaned up everything meticulously. They were highly skilled in the whole process and in enlarging the hole for the spray nozzle because of my older kitchen sink.

Excellent--I highly recommend them! A local plumber in the neighborhood, Dave did a wonderful job. He came prepared to fix the sink and I asked him about the drain pipe in the basement as an afterthought. He gladly fixed that for me as well in no time at all!

David did a great job and came out over memorial day weekend without any additional charge. He did exceptional work and was very professional. I would hire him again without hesitation.

On the day he came out he spent the day looking at our sewer because it had then become a serious condition. He spent a couple hours with a little bit of difficulty getting into the drain, and what we thought to be the clog cleared. After that we paid them. Unfortunately, a couple days later our sewer backed up again and we had to go with a different company that we knew had more experience snaking sewers. We had asked for him to refund us 50% of what he charged us (which would have been what it cost to hire someone else to fix what he did). He initially agreed to do this, but we haven't heard from him since. Slawiniski has been very unresponsive to our calls.

I called and they never returned the phone call.

We got three estimates ($3000 apart in cost) and his was the middle estimate, so we decided to go with him. The original estimate was $200 less than the final cost, but he did a lot of reorganizing of the pipes in our very old basement that he didn't anticipate having to do. And I have to say, it made a HUGE difference in the appearance of our laundry room with the excess pipes gone and everything very neat. He even demolished some concrete for our carpenter that wasn't part of the plumbing demo to help us out. The entire job took about 3 days. He came on time every day and communicated throughout the process to make sure I was getting what I wanted. The final job really looks great. I don't know anything about plumbing, but my carpenter said it was good work, so I'd definitely hire him again. Nice guy, too.

It was great! He showed up on time for the estimate and also for the actual work. he is very nice, polite, and professional. He cleaned up afterwards and placed pads on our washer and dryer to keep them from getting damaged. We are very satisfied with his work. Thanks Dave!

The owner and another man came out to do the work over a three day period. He gave me 5% off for the job! They cleaned up every single day. There was a little something extra that we added on and did so willingly, they were just so good!

They wrote an estimate for the needs, they said they a another big to do, and never showed for the scheduled time, they failed to me. Have called them several times, however, they still have not responded.

Prompt, courteous, fair. He also does remodeling. Stay the way you are!

David arrived on time with his assistant. He reviewed all the items purchased for the job to make sure that everything was there. He went straight to work and informed me it would take about 2-3 hours to complete. Upon completion, he cleaned up after himself and walked me through the inspection of his work. Job well done!! Very efficient workers.

This morning, I called Slawinski plumbing because my bathroom sink would not drain. David Slawenski answered my call and said that he would come out today between 2 and 3. Dave called by 2:15. He quickly got to work with his electric snake after ensuring that he would not damage any of the woodwork with his tools. Dave let me watch what he was doing and explained each step of the process. He then thoroughly cleaned up after completing his work. Dave was accompanied by a coworker who enabled him to complete the job quickly and efficiently. I should also mention that he and his coworker were wonderful with my cats and dogs - they all liked them both very much. The last thing that I should mention is that he charged me less than he quoted stating that I received an "Angie's list" discount! I am very appreciative of his professionalism and I will call him for any other plumbing needs.

I am really favorably pleased with the work in both areas. I thought it was a reasonable price. They were efficient and timely and very pleasant to work.

Didn't show the first time he said he was going to. He said he lost the paper with our number and address on. He came out the next day on time and did a great job. Happy to have a working toilet again. Gave us a discount of $20 because we belong to Angie's List. Now that he has our address and phone number I would call him back again.
