He was fair, and great. He got the job done. I was a fast drip and ended up being about a gallon a day. I did not have a shut off valve has him install one. He worked efficiently. He ws professional and punctual.

1st visit- gave me an hour time frame on when he will arrive. I called at five minutes to the hour and was informed he was still at previous client. Will be at least an hour late. I had to make the call. ( approx., 170.00 for the visit) 2nd visit- I called a week after the first visit to check on status of return visit. He did not know, but will call back before end of week. Never heard from him.

We found services elsewhere.

The experience was great. I called on Tuesday. He came out to look at things on Wednesday. He took pictures of the problem and showed me. We scheduled for the that Friday at 9:00 to fix the issues. He was on time on Friday. He was done in about 2 and half hours. He was very professional the whole time.

Called on Wednesday and they made an appointment to come out the following Sat. Morn. He arrived at the appointed time. Started on the drain and didn't have much luck. He said he used three different cutter to clear tree root debris. He described some options including using a jet cleaner and camera. Told me the cost of this service was $800 if everything went well. After about two weeks I tried to make and appointment to have them out to do this service. I left multiple messages. Finally I called on a Sat. and talked to someone who told me he had got my messages and he would get back to me the following week. It never happened. When I did get in touch with him he couldn't be tied down to an appointment. I then said I would get someone else. I did and they came out promptly used a camera and jet cleaner but had little luck. Then they used a their cutters in the pipe along with the Camera and not only cleaned out all the tree roots but but found a section of a snake left by these guys in the pipe. They had made no mention of this when they were snaking on the previous visit. I can only imagine that this had something to do with there reluctance to schedule another appointment. I had another Sewer service out (Downs) and they did the work, cleared my drain but were unable to fish out the snake left by this company. They also did the complete job for less than half what these guys wanted. If everything would have well the first time they were out I would have said they had done a great job. Instead because of all the issues and delays I would not use them again.

The main drain in the basement started backing up following several days of rain. We had standing water in the basement, which would not budge even after we tried to snake it ourselves. Worried that there was some major internal damage (tree roots, pipe collapse, etc.), and being without a washing machine with loads of baby clothes waiting to be washed, we contacted Dave, not expecting we would get this resolved before the weekend. As it turned out, Dave fit us in the very next day, and even stopped by early in between jobs to get a feel for the job ahead. He came right on time and was done in an hour, even dumping the trashcan of water next to the drain. He gave us a discount on the normal $250 charge as an AL member. He was quick, friendly, professional and efficient. Everything is working great and he saved us a potentially stressful weekend spent at the laundromat with a toddler.

i thought I had a leaking pipe but they discovered it was a leak from storage on upper floor. They took time to investigate problem and find the solution. They did not charge me a fee for the visit. Very friendly but professional. I will call them next time for any plumbing related work,

They did an excellent job. You couldn't even tell there was previously a shower door up there. I am happy with all of their work. They were on time and the price was right. They put down covering over my hardwood floor to protect it. I was very pleased.

Dave did a great job and was a pleasure to work with! He came out to my house twice...once to assess the "problems" and then returned two days later with the parts for the job. He was super efficient in his work and left no mess whatsoever. I'm soooo happy with my new (silent) garbage disposal and leak-free toilet. He is truly an expert of his trade and I would use him again!

It's an old shower approx 50 years old and we weren't sure if we had to replace it or we could fix. He called around to find the right parts.He's very conscientious. He did an excellent job I would definitely recommend him.

Dave was very responsive and came out within about a day or so from first contact. He was on time and very tidy when he worked. He cleared the drains and made the gunk and stuff disappear. He was quick, clean, and very nice. While he was here he even looked at an old bathroom toilet and gave me an estimate for replacement. I would defintely use him again.

I went to Angie's List and printed out 3-4 plumbers with excellent ratings. Dave appealed to me because he appears to have multiple talents, including tile work. Since we have multiple projects around the house, my husband and I thought the clogged drain would be a good test. We called Dave and left a message. Within a short period of time, he called back to let us know he had gotten our message. Since he was on a job, he asked to call back later to schedule appointment, which he did. Unfortunately, he got sick on our scheduled day, but said he would try to make it the following day -- Sunday! Sunday morning arrived and I commented to my husband that I surely could wait another day or two if Dave was still sick. But,at 10:00 there he was ready to go. First, let me say that my husband is an architect and I am as picky as they come. Well, my husband was very impressed with Dave's professional approach. He showed Jim everything and explained what he was doing. After clearing the drain, he tested it several times. Dave was also very neat and clean while working. He came with drop cloths, even though I had cleaned out cabinet, lined it with plastic and put an old towel down to catch any gunk. We couldn't be more pleased! Certainly, Dave will be out preferred plumber as other projects become addressed.

He is an amazing young man. He is prompt and extremely efficient. He does a fantastic job. He is easy to get a hold of and is extremely helpful and nice.

I have nothing but good things to say. He was punctual, he got the job done, and he was out of here.

He replaced the trap and cleaned out the drains in my tub. The water in my tub really drain great. They also fixed my hot water tank that was leaking. They did a great job showing my what they did with a camera so I did not have to go into the basement since I am 86 years old. They deserve a halo. They were exceptional.

A leaky toilet left a puddle of water on the bathroom floor Sunday evening.. Checked Angie's list for a local plumber with a good reputation. Called David Slawinski of Plumbing and Maintenance on Monday morning. He said he would be over about noon. By 1:30 that afternoon we no longer had a problem. David was prompt, courteous, professional and very neat. He knew exactly what had to be done and he did it! We will highly recommend Mr. Slawinski to friends and family and call him again if a need arises. Thanks Dave.

Replaced the old blue tub with a white one, put new lumber under the tub, installed new fixtures, tiled the surround and the bathroom floor. Looks beautiful.

I heard about David year ago through Angie's List, called him, and he came right away to fix the line in the refrigerator. The last provider that came out had put rubber tubing in the fridge, and he replaced it with copper tubing. I had a few more projects after the initial work was done and asked for an estimate. This was not the best time for the work to be done and so the projects got put off. A FULL year later I called him back, and he honored the estimate that he gave me the previous year. He is professional, fast, and found other jobs that I had overlooked, doing some preventative maintenance. I had a drain that every other service provider said was UNFIXABLE, and he was able to unclog it with no problem.

I called Dave Saturday morning about our kitchen and basement bathroom sinks backing up. He said he could be by at around 1:00 p.m. He showed up as 12.30, half an hour earlier, while calling us beforehand to tell us. He is courteous, pleasant to work with, and, from this experience, utterly reliable and professional. To clear out the drain, he needed to get his "big machine." He soon came back and performed the service perfectly. It turned out that 17 years of coffee grounds and cooking grease had done their work. Dave said afterwards, "Well, you're set for the next 17 years." The price was $195 less the $20 Angie's list discount. Not cheap, but worthe the peace of mind. I'll call him in the future.

My Dad needed some plumbing work because when he ran water in one half of this sink it kept backing up into the other side of the sink. He tried "snaking" the drain, but that didn't fix it. He knew I was an Angie's List member and he asked me to find some plumbers for him. I read the reviews for David Slawinski and I marked him as the first choice and also gave him 2 other highly rated plumbers from Angie's List. But, I recommended that Dad try David since he was a repeat Award winner. My Dad couldn't have been happier with the service Dave provided. He asked that I write this review and I'm basically quoting him here. "Dave was great - he showed up a few minutes before the scheduled time and he couldn't have been more professional. He made the needed repair and also gave us some advice with the removal of the garbage disposal. Dave is very knowledgeable and is also a really nice person. I would recommend him to anyone needed plumbing work. I will call him for any future needs." I will also be contacting Dave for some plumbing work at my home in the near future.

Dave showed up when he said he would and took care of the problem promptly. I realize it was pretty expensive for two aerators, but I didn't have a clue why the sink was leaking and was thankful that it turned out to be a quick fix. I also received a $20 Angie's List discount.

We had a couple of minor plumbing issues that needed to be taken care of. When the numbers for the plumber who redid all the plumbing on our house seven years ago did not work, we came to Angie's List to find someone to do the work. As mentioned above, the work was minor. Dave was on time, courteous, and professional. He completed the work quickly (and also noted that our water pressure had been turned down-our showers are much nicer now). We would definitely recommend him and will probably call him for future work.

Water was leaking down our basement from a broken toilet seal. I called Mr. Slawinski and he came the next day to replace the seal in a quick and efficient manner. His price was very reasonable and he knows his trade. We would gladly have him again

Plumber was very professional. Explained to me exactly what had to be done and cost. Another plumber had told us to fix the sink it woud be quite expensive. I explained the sink situation to Slawinski and he said it was probably the aerator. He found a calcimum stone in the aerator and it was fixed. The sink had not worked right for years and now the water pressure is at full force. I would definitely call them back again. Price was quite reasonable for work done.

They ended up replacing the cartridge and the O ring. They took a look at a slow toilet, and didn't charge me, but he was able to loosen a plugged hole and made it flow much better. It was nice of him to go the extra on the toilet for me. He was fast and knew what he was doing. After talking to me on the phone, he brought the parts he needed making it a faster experience.
