Description of Work: He turned on the water in the sprinkler system, made sure each spray head was working, and adjusted the angle of spray for each spray location. In a previous visit (through Angie's List) he discovered the previous owners had failed to winterize the system and it was not functioning properly. Since we had just purchased the house the previous winter, we were able to get the previous owners to cover the cost of repairing the system damaged by lack of proper winterization. We would gladly use this sprinkler guy again.

The time he spent was covered under my "deal" and I only had to pay additional for some parts. I was very pleased with Jim's professionalism and the quality of his work. I will call him for future servicing of our irrigation system.

The labor cost he showed in the paper was low and he already mentioned I have some hours left with my voucher. I told him that I will provide the hardware, then he moved back and did not give the paper.

Description of Work: Instead of turning on the system ourselves, I purchased a Big Deal because I wanted someone to come out and check that everything was running properly. I purchased the more expensive $77 deal because it stated that the rain sensor would be checked, which was a priority for me. Good communication via email to set up the appointment. He showed up 30 minutes later than the appointment; not an inconvenience, but I was worried he was not going to show. He turned on the water and said the pressure was very low. I explained that it was not low like that last year. I reminded him twice to check the rain sensor. He did not, explaining that he would have to get on the roof with a bucket of water. He did replace a two broken heads for an extra $40. Instead of looking for a leak, he made suggestions about adding zone boxes and other unnecessary expensive "fixes." I ended up finding where the sprinkler pipe was busted myself a few days later. I did email him to let him know about the sensor and the broken pipe. He offered to come out right away to fix it, but I declined because I did not want to spend anymore money with this company. Nice man, but I definitely did not get what I paid for.
