They did a good job and had a reasonable price.

They were good initially but now they have gone down hill. When there was a problem with Madison staff I talked to their boss personally and he took care of it. I have to install a new furnace and I would look into the estimates from different companies for it. If things wouldn’t have gone wrong with Madison on one project I would have given the project to them but now I would like to look into the estimates from different companies. I had them do my heating and air conditioning maintenance work and everything was going fine. We had a good relationship but last year I had a driveway installed and it needed the driveway guy and the Madison guy to cooperate with each other but the Madison guy took an attitude with my driveway guy and caused a lot of extra work and wasted a lot of time. I am happy with their heating and air conditioner guy but not with their plumbing guy.

Drains were backed up in shower and toilets in my 100 yr. old house. I called late Thursday, they sent Kenny first thing Friday. He identified the problem in minutes. When the clean out cover was removed, it was SOLID muck. He wasn't sure it could be snaked but he went ahead and dug it out and managed to get the snake in and almost 2 hrs. later had everything cleared! He was courteous, professional, and explained everything as he was going along. It was an awful looking job and he just pushed ahead and got it done with no delays.

Overall, the job was completed, even if it took two visits. Also the plumber worked fast and put in parts that I'm not too happy with.

The plumber was scheduled to be here between 9:00am and noon. About 20 minutes after noon no-one had shown up and I had not heard from anyone. I called and the person who answered said that he would check into it. About 10 minutes later Kenny arrived. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. He looked at the old faucet and accompanied me into the basement to see where the pipes came into the house. It took about 15 minutes for him to remove the old hose bib and replace it. The new hose bib (faucet) works well and does not leak at all. The invoice lists $78 for labor and $15 for materials.

They were great!! They came out right away, they showed up on time and got right to work. They did not have the right part so they went shopping right away and eventually found the correct part. They came back and did the repairs. This was an urgent need because we were leaving to go out of town. They are great and I will continue to use them and I have already recommend them to many people.

Our 1930 Lakewood home sprung a leak from our second floor bathroom into our first floor kitchen. Madison Plumbing came in and discovered that the leak was caused by a quarter inch gap between our bathtub faucets and the wall. We had previously had a leak from the bathroom into the kitchen and our home warranty provider had sent out a plumber to fix it. Needless to say, that plumber did a poor job of fixing it because we sprung another leak. Madison plumbing replaced the tub faucets and valves; I bought the faucets at the store. The plumber fixed our bathroom leak within 2 days. The plumber's attitude was positive, professional, and courteous. However, this plumber did not want to work on old plumbing. He wanted to update, as opposed to fix, any old plumbing. He did not want to replace the shut off valves under my old sink, instead, since we were having a contractor put in a vanity, he wanted the contractor to do it; again, the plumber did not want to work with the old plumbing.

They were very responsive. Came when called and addressed the problem.

I ended up having a handyman fix it. It took him one hour (which included a trip to a plumbing store to get an appropriate part).

I feel I can depend on them. Do not remember cost.

Kenny had a difficult time trying to unscrew the rings to separate the pipes. When he finally was able to open it, he used a power snake to open the drain. I told him I had used organic drain cleaner, and Liquid Plumr Snake since he was worried about chemicals. He warned me that the snake would cause the backed up liquid to splatter. He complained that the snake kept going up the vent instead of down the drain (which I don't understand). He said I might need a ''clean out'' which entails moving toilet, cutting walls and may cause leaks in pipes. I have Lusterock (the precursor to Nature Stone) for my vanity top, which sits on plywood. Areas of the plywood are rotten, but the stone top is solid. Kenny noted on the invoice: needs a c/o installed; counter top is rotten, needs replaced. I did not stay with Kenny the whole time, as his dire attitude was upsetting me. After he had left, I found that he had not wiped up the splatter that flew on the bathroom door.

Madison Plumbing returned my ''weekend'' call promptly and immediately sent Kenny over to help us, as we could not use our water. Kenny worked tirelessly for many days in less than desirable conditions. We were never without water once he arrived. He was there every morning on time and did a fabulous job! He went above and beyond what a ''normal'' plumber would do, and I trusted him enough to leave the house open for him. I will call Madison Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.

He only brought a 15' snake. It wasn't long enough, so I sent him on his way.

Ryan came out to fix my toilet. After finding the problem, told me it would cost almost as much to repair the old one as to install a new toilet. Recommended a new toilet rather than a repair, as it would be more cost effective.

Plumber was on time and very polite and pleasant, did a good job, didn't try to sell me the fancy stuff, did a great job of cleaning up.

The plumber was on time and did the work promptly. He was neat and did a clean job. The only complaint I had was that I asked him to work on my sink faucet, which has a small leak. It probably needs a washer. He said he only does drains and sewer work. This company seems to send out sub-contractors who specialize in one thing.

Responded promptly, found problem quickly.

THE WORK WAS DONE QUICKLY and EFFICIENTLY. HE CLEANED UP THE MESS and GAVE SOME SUGGESTIONS OF WHAT NOT TO DO.

VERY NICE MAN. DID SOME MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING ON THINGS I WASN'T AWARE NEEDED SOME UPKEEP ON. I WILL USE AGAIN IF I EVER NEED WORK.

BOTH PLUMBERS WERE VERY POLITE, AND PROFESSIONAL. I CALLED SUNDAY NIGHT AT 6:00 PM, THEY CALLED, AND ARRIVED AT 8:00 AM NEXT DAY. WORKED WELL AS A TEAM, AND PERFORMED A GOOD JOB.

PLUMBER ARRIVED LESS THAN TWO HOURS AFTER OUR CALL. (A FAMILY OF FOUR WAS OUT OF HOT WATER!) HE HAD ALL NECESSARY PARTS IN THE TRUCK AND PERFORMED THE WORK IN A SATISFACTORY MANNER.

I WOULD GIVE MADISON PLUMBING THE THUMBS UP. BRIAN SHOWED UP BEFORE THE TIME ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED. WHICH IS WHAT I NEED TO GET TO WORK ON TIME. HE ALSO EXPLAINED THE ISSUE AND TOOK THE TIME TO LAY OUT A PLAN OF WHAT TO DO. THERE WERE TWO OPTIONS AND HE EXPLAINED TO TAKE THE LESSER ROUTE AT THE PRESENT TIME AND MONITOR THE SITUATION BEFORE DOING ANYTHING DRASTIC.

MADISON PLUMBING DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY ARE TIMELY, CAREFUL AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY ALSO MADE SURE AT EACH STEP THAT I UNDERSTOOD WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WHAT THE IMPACT OF THE SITUATION WOULD BE ON MY BATHROOM AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS OF THE HOUSE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!
