Our upstairs toilet was leaking into a kitchen cabinet below the bathroom. This was the 4th time we tried to fix our leaking toilet drain. The first time, I replaced the wax ring. A couple months later, I had a different plumber replace it, then a month later he replaced it again along with the flange. It still did not fix the leak. So I took the cabinet down and found a large hole in the soffit, where water must have been hitting for years. I called Madison Plumbing, because I did not want to deal with the previous plumber anymore. The crew came out a few days later, showing up 30 minutes early, but I was happy with that. They had a crew of 3. They assessed the damage and cut away the drywall of the soffit without damaging the soffit frame. Next they cut through the drain pipe and removed it. The pipe had two large holes corroded through it, so I am surprised this wasn't a horrible disaster. They were able to replace the corroded pipe with a pvc joint. All of this was done in the span of about 2 1/2 hours. The crew was courteous and professional. They covered everything in tarps and cleaned up when they were done. I would definitely hire them again.

Called the company, Dale answered the phone. He came out at the time he gave (about an hour from our phone call). He quickly assessed my basement pipe issue for which the leak is/was in the earth (under the house front porch area). He did a temporary fix to stop the flow, and gave me 2 different scenarios on how I can address the issue (digging up the driveway, front yard, etc) when Spring comes!

I've used them for a long, long, long time. They know my furnace. They come out and do a great job. It's usually the same guy every year too. They also have some coupons but I'd use them anyway. They're just good. I do think they know and I trust them to keep my furnace going and that has to do with the prior knowledge of my furnace. I've seen it cheaper, but I like them.

Probably one of the worst experiences of my lifetime. They were installing the furnace and drilled though the compressor for my central air destroying it. They replaced the compressor with a difference type that they claimed to be "comparable". They had to add/change a pump with then became clogged which caused the outside air conditioner unit to go haywire. They were supposed to put the unit back to the way it was before they ruined it, but never did. Our AC is now much louder and much less efficient. Several calls were placed to schedule them to correct it and our calls were never returned. I would not recommend.

They are good. They are the best plumber we have used and I would suggest you use them.

The heating guy didn't know what he was doing. Furnaces today, all have these electrical boards in them, like a computer. What it was is that board was going bad and because they didn't know how to handle that, they kept telling me there was something wrong with my thermostat. They put five thermostats in here, in a year and a half. I told them, "This is not right." So I ended up calling Donnelly and they told me what it was. They said, "We'll get a whole new furnace now and we'll fix your duct work too." I said, "Okay" So I went ahead and did all that. I wouldn't call them for heating. For heating, there was no quality at all. They were not well enough trained. I got fast response. They came in an hour looking to make money. But they didn't know what they were doing once they got here. They were here quick enough, they're only a couple of blocks away. If you're going to fix a furnace, you better learn what the new furnaces are.

Company answers the phone, an enormous ( A+ ). Schedules estimates/set up appointments & performs work in timely matter. Courteous all levels. Took a couple trips of performing work due to owner completing their own work in same location.

Amazing, these guys are the ones to call.....they are honest, professional and quite frankly miracle workers....this is not the first time that they have saved the day in our house....and I feel such relief knowing that we can count on them for whatever craziness our old house brings us...please know that these are the guys to call...you won't find a more reliable and trustworthy company!!!!!!!!

Their estimates were much lower than the company we went with this time. It was about $3000 lower. They quoted us about $7000 for the new furnace. They always give you a good, low bid. They are never an expensive company. They are a plain company, they don't do anything fancy or frilly but from our experience, we have never had any trouble with him at all. We are fine after the sewer line job they did, they sent someone out immediately and we had no trouble with it. I would definitely recommend them. We have used them for many years and they have always done a good job. Dale, the owner, is usually there; he is a good worker and knows how to do everything. He hires his guys that come and do the work so he is not merely a salesman. He is able to do a lot of different things. He would first send a worker to look at something that is not working and if it doesn't work out, he can come out and he knows what to do to make it right. He is technically able. Madison is a little more plus on both operations. We were pleased with every single experience we have had with Madison. Their price is very reasonable, very competitive, and usually the lowest price. We have had water heaters that broke on Sunday mornings and they were there on Sundays, they are there immediately. They are very quick to come out, you never have to wait. They don't have a professional manner at all but these guys are there to work but they have been in the business for a long time.

The did an extremely poor job. They forgot to turn the valve on once they were done. They also sent two workers to do a job that only needed one worker. They were supposed to call me ahead of time, and they did not because they didn't have my number. They came way early, and luckily I happened to be home.

I have used them regularly. Very good service. They did service me very recently. They have always done some plumbing service last week. They are very positive like I used them for years. They are dependable, responsive and competent.

Even during this very busy season came out to fix gas leaks the same day (gas shut off in this zero degree weather!) They returned calls promptly and called ahead as promised before arrival, and Kenny was a great problem solver when it came to securing gas pipe to wall. Even though I was desperate to get heat back on the cost was very fair.

They do a great job. I can call them up late at night, and they can walk me through what I need to do, or let me know if there is a problem. They are very efficient, and cordial. I don't have a bad thing to say about them. They are excellent.

They were very quick and efficient in completing this project. Very easy to work with.

It went very smoothly from start to finish. Ken and Darren, who installed the toilet, were very knowledgeable and professional.

We had just moved into our home in the Cleveland area. We did not have a plumber to call. I checked Angie's list and found Madison Plumbing. They listened to what I was describing as the problem (a leak in the utility room on the washing machine). They could not promise immediate service but would be at my home no later than 3PM that same day. They were right on time and fixed the leak quickly. I will definitely call them again for a plumbing problem.

They are excellent with work in the basement. They are available 24/7 and are very prompt. They always do the job right.

Madison came and only snaked two drains and installed one elbow pipe the FIRST visit and said they ran out of time and were going to have to charge us overtime if they stayed past 4:00pm. Since they never said anything about overtime prior to their afternoon-scheduled visit, this really was inconvenient and rude. We had to take off work a second day to have them come out and install one bathroom and one garage faucet which SHOULD have been simple jobs, right? The "plumber" they sent out moaned and groaned the entire time he worked to install one bathroom faucet. This took him over 2 HOURS!!! because he ended up having to remove the sink. OK, I don't know much about plumbing, but anyone who spends more than two hours working on installing one faucet should not be a plumber! He had the nerve to complain about the faucet I had provided him with even though I offered to go buy another one he had recommended to get him out of my house. He was so slow that I still can't believe I paid him for the job except that I wanted him out of my house. I really wish I had called the owner of Madison about the $570 price tag for two days of stretched-out work to give him a chance to refund some of my money. We are a tight neighborhood and I will not be recommending this company to anyone in the area. Neighbors had said they were too expensive, and they were correct!

They provided great service showing up at my house within 2 hours of my call even though it was after normal business hours. Needing an additional person for the job, they came back the next morning and unclogged the drain and installed a new drain cover.

I have used them a couple times before and was always on site while they were performing the work. They always have done a good job. This job was at a rental property and they were supposed to contact the renter to let them know when they were coming so she could be there. Madison called and said they were on their way. The tenant said that she would be there in 10 minutes. Meanwhile, the plumber showed up at the house before the adult renter was their and was greeted by their 16 year old daughter who let them in. Madison went ahead and completed the work and was leaving while the renter was just showing up. Basically, they didn't stick around for the tenant. They were supposed to fix the drain in the tub, check the sink stopper and check the pipe under the sink to see if it needed a vent. On the mailed receipt, they described the sink stopper as "cheap" with no recommendation for a new one. They also said that the vent needed to be installed per ordinance. They also never offered any assistance with this repair. The job cost was $78.00 just come to out. What they don't tell is they charge to use a snake to clean out the drain ($40.00). My bill was $118.00 for less than 5 minutes work without any suggestions for the other repairs. The Madison's response for the $40 snake charge was that the snake HE used was an industrial strength snake and cost $300.00. If this one employee has 8 house calls charging $40.00 each to use the snake, he has made more than enough to pay for his industrial purchase in one day. I believe he is overcharging for the use of that snake to make more money off his customers.
