Lakewood Exterminating

Lakewood Exterminating was very responsive, came to house within 48 hours (they could have come sooner, but our own schedules made it necessary to schedule 2 days out. Shawn arrived early, made a thorough assessment of the outside of the house, identifying all potential entry points for mice, and sealed off several of the openings (some require major maintenance). He checked the attic and applied rodenticide throughout. He took time to answer all my questions and make suggestions for preventing a recurrence of the problem. He also followed up with us a couple days later. The problem appears to be solved and we're grateful. The cost for all this was about the same as the rates charged by other exterminators I had contacted. I would hire Lakewood Exterminating again and would recommend them to anyone with similar pest problems.

Shawn finished sealing the house at a reasonable price. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and why those steps were necessary. He was a pleasure to work with. We have seen no evidence of our unwanted guests.

Shawn came out, went through the house and attic, put out more poison and traps and inspected the outside of the house and addressed possible entry points. I hired another company earlier in the year and they came out 4 times and put poison throughout my attic. This did not get rid of the problem. Hopefully addressing entry points with be the end of this. I highly recommend Lakewood Exterminating and will definitely hire again if the need arises.

Arrived on time. Inspected property and gave detailed suggestions for ways to alleviate problem areas around house. Provided needed bate stations around house perimeter. Responded to needed return visit within one hour. Prompt at scheduled return visit appointment date.

the nest was too high to reach with his pole saw. He removed it by hitting it like a pinata, he was persistent and finished the job and cleaned up.

Having rats in your house is awful! Lakewood Exterminating was exceptional - Shawn was responsive and worked the problem to make sure the rats and any other rodents were gone and never come back. He was extremely resourceful in his methods, and wanted any rodents gone as much as I did. He went into places (inside and out) where no one wanted to go, to find any breeches where rodents could get in etc. He had more ways to find, trap, catch or kill rodents than I would have ever known. His communication was excellent and I couldn’t ask for a better exterminator. I’m so glad I called Lakewood Exterminating after considering one of the larger national companies. His service was excellent!

This was our first time needing a pest control service. I prefer to use local services whenever possible, and I was optimistic based off of the amount of positive reviews. Although the services were executed, I did not feel confident that our mice situation was resolved. It took multiple calls to schedule an appointment. Although he was able to come by the first business day, he couldn't really tell where they were entering the house and spent less than 40 minutes total. He did patch up a couple little exterior holes and dropped mouse traps.

Job well done as always. I did not even have to be present. Invoice stated work done and I could see the hole they were entering was treated and plugged. No more bees! I've used this service over the past 2 years and had carpenter bees treated and a flea infestation (yuck!) treated. Shawn is very professional, very informative and always prompt.

Shawn was on time and very pleasant to work with. He did his inspection and performed some measures to prevent mice from entering the house. He also set up some traps. Not sure if this solved the problem but we shall see.

Shawn treated around our house, gazebo, deck and shed to stop carpenter ants. We have a lot of trees and shrubs in our yard, so the ants are always around but we prefer to use the least treatment possible to keep them away from the house (and not kill all the insects). Shawn listened and was flexible in what he offered. He explained everything he used and was careful and thorough in treating the whole area. We have a dog and he was careful to show me where he was putting treatments and to keep away from areas the dog uses all the time. He followed up with us about results. The price was reasonable. We will call him back.

Shawn focused on where ants were coming into the house as opposed to spraying a lot in the house. Surveyed the yard and the home. Easy to work with.

He was friendly and very knowledgeable of ants. He examined our house both inside and out. This included examination of our trees. He determined we had a carpenter and pavement ants in our trees. He baited and sprayed totally eliminating the ants. One day after treatment we no longer had ants in our home.

Shawn was easy to reach when called, and sent a confirmation e-mail the day prior exterminating. He sprayed everywhere ants could be making an entrance and along the perimeter and exterior windows of the house. He was courteous and professional, and the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend his services , and will call Lakewood Exterminating for future services if needed.
