Shawn Payne is a first round draft choice -a man of his word--conscientious ( stayed with us until problem was over) punctual ( even during the hustle bustle of the holidays he arrived as promised on time-.My family unnerved by rodent situation -Shawn gave positive reassurance.. 5 stars for Lakewood Exterminating !

Shawn gave me a quote and scheduled a time to come out within a day. He was running late, but called to let me know. He checked the outside of the home and filled/ repaired a few areas on the outside of the home the mice could use to get in. He then put bait in our attic and in garage attic. He was professional, fast and thorough.

Wonderful! Shawn arrived and searched every nook and cranny for critters plugged holes in house searched attic crawl space and left traps in basement on rafters for any strays. Contacted Lakewood Exterminating. They explained treatment for a bees next in my foundation. They came out the same day and applied the treatment.

The roaches seem to come back every year or two in this neighborhood, I'll keep using Lakewood Exterminating.

Shawn came out the day after I called and removed a flying squirrel that was caught to a glue pad on my third floor.

Shawn was great. He was able to come to our house within days of when I called. He arrived on time, explained exactly what needed to be done, and did some extra work on the spot to seal off some pretty big gaps in the exterior of the house. Before starting the extra work, he explained what would be done and the extra cost for it. Very professional.

Great! We used their services a couple of years ago for the same issues after unsuccessfully trying multiple methods to deal with it ourselves, & found their service solved the problem immediately. This time we just called right away when we saw the ant brigade arrive. Again, very successful results. Shawn is professional, congenial & got us on the schedule quickly. We're most satisfied in every way!

So far so good! He called and was able to arrived early, kindly covering his shoes to protect my floor when he entered. He set bait traps for the carpenter ants and said I should be all set. He also sprayed the entire outside and the garage, also baiting a corner of the garage. I decided to get the annual service (3 visits through the year + if needed) since I don’t want to see any ants again next spring. Contract was completed efficiently and professionally online and by email. I’ll let Angie’s List know if all the bugs are taken care of! So far very pleased with promptness and professionalism.

Lakewood Exterminating did a thorough inspection and caulked up possible entry areas in our foundation. Traps were set as well as bait boxes after completely providing information to me describing what would be done and what might be expected. I have scheduled follow up also. There was no pressure. And Shawn listened to me and didn't make me feel ill at ease. The cost was reasonable for the amount of time and work he did.

Shawn is the absolute best. We live in a renovated, 100-year-old warehouse, with thick brick walls, lots of doors/windows that don't always close well and tons of quirky character -- ie, lots of places for critters to creep in. He's always quick to respond to our cries for help and is exceptionally knowledgeable about his business. His constant vigilance has made an exceptional mouse problem go away, and never tries to push us to do more than we need to. In fact, I wanted to get him on a weekly spraying schedule during flying ant season (don't ask), and he assured me that it would be a waste of money, that we should only call when we see a need (and informed us of signs to look for, etc.) because the sprays should last at least a month, etc. He's really just terrific all around; highly recommend!

They gave us an estimate, we said ok and they were to come out ,but had to wait three days. By this time we were beside ourselves listening to them in our walls .Not knowing if it was squirrels or raccoons we put powder on the roof by the hole to see the footprints and a paper towel in the hole to see whether they were in or out. The morning We were left an email that said we had compromised the site and they wouldn’t exterminate them . Astounded we checked our home cameras to find they drove by at 25 miles an hour never even stopping .My husband had taken off work to be there losing wages and we had to deal with another night with the animals in the walls . Never got a call just a email.

He was great, very personable and worked quickly. He clearly knows lakewood houses and diagnosed our situation. He plugged up some exterior holes, set up traps, and even checked a few other spots by request.

I really needed the pest issue resolved quickly to comply with the results of a real estate home inspection (my parents’s home). I contacted Shawn by email over the weekend and he responded almost immediately. He came to the house on Monday and took care of business even though we were out of his service area. This is the second time I’ve called Lakewood Exterminating. Will call them again if the need arises.
