K & D Painting

We needed almost all of our interior painted (yikes!) - got four bids all from Angies List and picked K & D because of Bill's easy demeanor, willingness to work with our exact paint choice and his fair and competitive price. We could not have asked for a better experience. Because of our many moves we've used several painters in the past, but this was by far our best experience. Bill and his team are professional, extremely easy to work with, and really, really good at what they do. We also had them do extensive trim work and even some staining and it looks so amazing - absolutely perfect. Bill did everything we asked and is even fitting us in for a day next week for a couple more projects. He's not a "salesman type" guy who's going to interject a lot of his personal opinions, and that's a great thing. Extremely positive experience and outcome, and we highly, highly recommend.

Bill was prompt, friendly, clean, organized. I have already recommended him to a number of my co-workers. I was very comfortable leaving him alone to work in my house while I went to work. I would bring him back for future projects.

I am going to keep this short and simple. Just hire Bill! He is very competitively priced and is an excellent painter! Yes, I got other quotes (as I always do) and decided to go with Bill, partly due to the other reviews I read - they did not disappoint. In looking back, getting other quotes was a waste of time. We have already requested Bill to come back and paint some other rooms. He is professional, efficient and clean. Just hire Bill, you will be happy you did!

K&D exceeded my expectations!! I found Bill from K&D Painting on Angie’s list. I sent a request for a quote and Bill messaged me back right away. He came out to give me a quote within a day or so of my inquiry (reasonable and priced competitively in the market and he did not ask for a penny more than he quoted) and within one week my dining room was done! In the past I had used Home Advisor because it was free but the communication and availability of the contractors seemed unreliable. My Angie’s experience was terrific!! Let me tell you why Bill is “the guy”…He was friendly but also very respectful of my home from the first day he came to give me the quote through to job completion. He was very accommodating to my schedule and of my desire to hurry and get the room done because I was expecting family in town. I have a small baby at home and cats. He made sure he checked the door every time he went out so the cat didn’t sneak out. He was very quiet so I was able to stick to my baby’s nap schedule in the adjoining living room! It felt like I had a friend or a family member in my house doing the painting. He was extremely clean. He put up plastic and even wiped down the floors after the job was finished. Now the quality of the work…outstanding. I have an old home built in the early 20s with plaster walls. Not to mention the fact that the surface of the walls was uneven from removing wallpaper that left several different layers of paint exposed. He caulked and mudded and surfaced the wall perfectly. The edges were straight and I say that is important because I had a ton of edges! He painted baseboards, crown molding, window sills, doors and even two built in glass front cabinets that had wood between each pane of glass. The room is so elegant. We love having our family dinners in the transformed room. And, we are asking Bill to come back to paint our kitchen and our center stairwell as well. Please don’t hesitate to use him. But, if I need him you will have to wait your turn. 

Really well. The job was completed in 3 days as promised and was done really well. He was very competitively priced and did great work. I am planning on having him compete additional work soon. Look no further than K&D Painting.

Great! Bill did an amazing job. He painted the entire interior of a four-bedroom home. Bill was detailed and meticulous in his work. He put in full days until the job was completed. Bill cleaned up every day and was extremely respectful of my property. I will hire Bill for all my future painting needs.

Bill was hard-working, considerate, and efficient. He worked from 9-3, Monday through Friday and got two small rooms and a hallway done with walls, doors, and trim. The 66-year-old, damaged walls are significantly improved. He got the work done in the time estimated. We plan to ask him to do some work in our kitchen.

I had a response very quickly on the same day I purchased the Painter for a Day deal to arrange the date/time for painting to be done. Bill arrived on time (actually slightly early which was good with me!) and did a wonderful job on the bedroom. He pays attention to detail and even though I wasn't planning on painting the trim, he suggested and offered to do it if I had some trim paint. Bill left the room super clean. I was very happy with the service and quality I plan to call him again to paint a hallway.

Bill arrived on time and with everything needed to complete the job. The painting I needed was for several rooms including a great room with high walls. Bill quoted the estimate and completed the job start to finish. Since I was moving in to the residence and having other work completed so scheduling was challenging and Bill was able to accommodate the changing plans without a problem.
