Everything went very well. They had to cut part of the driveway by the house and repaired that side plus around each of the corners about 4-5 feet. They found a hole in the foundation there that they fixed. They also did they back corner around 7 feet and 3. They found a thin crack from top to bottom that they repaired. They finished up and cleaned up everything. We are very pleased with this company and are very confident that our water problem is solved.
Description of Work: Steve came over and we explained to him how we have dampness in 3 corners of our basement, and one of those corners we sometimes get a trickle of water. Also, 4 times in 26 years after a extremely heavy storm we got water seep in on driveway side from footers to flood part of the basement. Steve agreed to just fix those areas where the problem is. He explained the technique he uses comes from his research over the years. They dig down to the old footers, remove and clean the walls. Apply a cement sealer and repair any cracks. Apply the black tar then place a plastic dimple board over that, that way if water gets in between there it can flow down to new footers. They fill with round river rock rather than s*** stone because water flows better through this rock. We were very impressed with this technique and went with them.

I went through many estimates, Integrity was the last one. He was 100% the most honest contractor I've ever dealt with!! I had many contractors in and they all told me a different story as to why my basement was leaking. None of them mentioned the problem that integrity did. His thoughts were that rather than digging up my foundation and re-waterproofing a wall that might still have good water proofing I should try and clean out my storm drains. He pointed out that the water was coming in from what is likely the high point of the foundation drain, which means that the problem is likely that the drain is just clogged. This is a service this company doesn't provide, and i've contacted a plumber to help. If this isn't the issue, i'll definitely be reaching back out to integrity to understand the next steps and what they suggest. I'm confident they won't try and sell me something I don't need.

In a word, GREAT !!! Steve came out to the house, looked at the job and presented us with two recommendation based on what he saw. One, less expensive option ($2000), to waterproof the corner and another more expensive to waterproof a much larger section of the wall ($5000). Based on what he saw, he recommended the less expensive option BUT said that if it didn't work, we could pay the difference and have the larger section done. We selected the less expensive option. They were late in getting to the job, mainly due to Hurricane Sandy. They called and arranged a time, showed up on time and finished when they said they would. They replaced a section of footer drain at no additional cost. They explained in detail what they found when they excavated and provided pictures. After they finished and we had a heavy rain we again got dampness. Steve came right out and realized the downspout was disconnected (during settlement of the fill-in) and said we should have the foundation drains cleared based on what they saw. They didn't recommend any further work as they believed they found the problem the first time. We attached the downspout and are arranging for the footer drain clean-out. Attaching the downspout did the trick though. No water or dampness through rains and snow melt so far.
Description of Work: We had dampness after rain in one corner of our basement. The problem was persistent after getting storm sewer lines cleared so based on a search of Angies List we contacted Integrity Waterproofing.

I had called several waterproofing companies. Having made an appointment to come over for an estimate they were ontime and very pleasant. They sat down and went over how they went about waterproofing and gave a fair price. They showed up to do the job despite the cold weather and were in and out in two days. They may have been done in one day but they had to wait for the city inspector.

Mr. Allen stopped by a house my wife and I had expected to purchase. We had found issues after our professional home inspection. Integrity had such positive reviews on Angie's List, we called them for an estimate. Mr. Allen came to the house at our agreed on time, surveyed the basement, gave his opinion, described the work, wrote an estimate all within 20 minutes. Actually, he made our roblem, the home inspector thought led into the foundation, seem rather easy to handle. He was very professional and personable. We decided not to buy the house due to other compounding issues, but Integrity waterproofing played an important role in our decision. If we had purchased the house Integrity would have definitely been our choice for waterproofing.

They responded right away and he was thorough. He also does interior home repair, but his price was extremely high and they don't give you a lifetime warranty. He showed me pictures and said almost the same thing as all the other companies I had come out. One company I contacted came down to $13,000 to do the interior basement waterproofing and the foundation repairs. I just couldn't believe that they wanted me to pay $17,500 without a lifetime warranty which is ridiculous. He was punctual, but they're only giving you a 20 year warranty.

Mario and Corry came to my house with all the equipment to complete the job. They were extremely considerate of my flooring and made sure they did what they had to do and cleaned up the surrounding area. The job was done to my complete satisfaction. Matt (son of the owner) came to advise me of what would be done and later on to show me the finished work. He not only was very professional but went to my sister-in-laws house to look at the problem she was having and to advise her. THEY ALL WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND THEIR DUTY. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM AND WILL MOST CERTAINLY TO MY FRIENDS.

It went much better than I expected! The job was done in less time than I expected and the outside area looked better than before the started. I waited several months to write this review in order to determine the job was done right. Throughout the heavy rain we had for over a week due to the super storm Sandy, I never had even a damp wall or musty odor in my basement. JOB WELL DONE!!!! I am extremely happy with the work done on my house and recommend Integrity Waterproofing to anyone that wants the job done quickly and correctly!
Description of Work: My basement had a serious leak problem that bowed the rear wall of the house. Integrity Waterproofing repaired and reinforced the walls, cleaned out the main drain line to the street and replaced all the footer drain lines gutter down spouts and gutter drain lines. they also used a three stage waterproofing system on the walls and back fill the entire area with gravel and topped it off with good topsoil. They removed and replaced about 120 sq ft of pavers and cut through a 15 ft long cement pad to access the area. They re-poured the pad and pinned it to the original to prevent sinking of the new pad. They also had to remove 20 feet of fencing to access the work area and the replaced it better than it was. They even re-positioned my heavy patio furniture when they were done. It looked like they were never there when they left. They even removed a stump that was in the back yard and took it away. They were in and out in 4 and 1/2 days.

From the start, I was impressed with the professionalism of Integrity Waterproofing. Steve Allen came out to gave me an estimate and did a thorough examination of the basement walls, checked out the existing sump pump, inspected downspouts, and wrote up an estimate and talked me through the details. He was very professional and thorough and there was no pressure at all. After scheduling (and once weather cooperated), his team was punctual and left my landscaping better than it started - unbelievable! I did have some issues after the job because this muddy clay water (thanks to the fact that my soil is mostly clay) came into my basement on the first heavy rain. I called the office and Steve came out to look at it and brought a plumbing contractor who pressure-snaked a line for me that was clogged up from clay. I've waited about a year to post this review as I wanted to have the job truly tested by some heavy rains and we had a pretty dry summer. Before Steve's team came out, I had 2 rivers of water flowing from my back nook to the lowest part of the foundation, which is a capped out drain. In addition, it seemed to pool up the worst right by the partially finished side, where it threatened to destroy drywall, carpeting, and furniture and electronics. Now, after quite a few heavy storms (including the start of Hurricane Sandy rains), I have not had ANY water come in. I hope it stays this way as he said my only other option if water comes in back there again is for his team to come back out and install a second sump pump outside the house. Overall, I am very happy with Integrity Waterproofing and happy to have a dry basement!

I have been waiting for heavy rains to test the waterproofing they did for us, but what a draught! We got two three episodes of decent rains last week, so I decide to join the choir to sing their praise. They did a great job, took pride in their work, took care of my problems, and cleaned up very well. Eeryone, the owner MR. Allen, his family handling phone calls, the foreman Tom, the mason Nick, and others, are all excellent! I would recommend Integrity Waterproofing without any reservation.

I contacted Integrity Waterproofing in December after checking Angies List and reading all customer reviews. Steve Allen came out in the middle of December 2011, checked over the basement and made the suggestion to do a complete waterproofing with his process (like Holmes on Homes on HGTV). I made up my mind to go with Steve since he was so well-informed on the ins and outs of waterproofing. But, I truly knew I made the right choice when we were discussing the fact that my mother and father (both now deceased) sacrificed so much to have this house built. I can still see Steve standing in my living room, looking around, and then saying to me, "I consider it an honor that you are giving me the opportunity to waterproof your beautiful family home." I knew then he would take care of this house as if he were doing his own home. Work began on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 with 5 fabulous workers: Mike and Craig (Steve's sons), Corey (a cousin of Mike and Craig) and Mario and Jon (as Craig said they have been with Integrity for so long, they are also considered family). You hear so many horror stories about waterproofing that it makes you a nervous wreck just thinking about all the mess entailed in the job. But, as Mike said the first day they arrived, "Don't worry, this moves along quickly and when we leave, you won't even know we were here." Gosh, was Mike correct on that statement. Every morning I had a sheet of questions to ask either Mike or Craig and, no matter how busy they were, they stopped immediately to answer any concerns I had. Since I had the walkways replaced, this job took about 1 day or so longer (6 days total) than it would have if I just had the waterproofing done. The cement walks are beautiful, ten times better than the originals that they replaced. The entire job was just a wonderful experience (and who would ever think anyone would say that about waterproofing an entire house). I truly mean it when I say I felt bad when the job was completed and these great guys moved on to another job. I really felt like they were extended family. For all the ladies who may have need to do waterproofing on your house, please do not hesitate to contact Integrity Waterproofing. They are polite, honest and completely trustworthy, the kind of workers with whom you can leave your house key. Steve, Mike, Craig, Mario, Corey and Jon, you should be so proud of your workmanship and your work ethics. I can think of no better word to describe each one of you than GENTLEMAN.
Description of Work: Waterproofing of entire foundation. Excavate to footing. Repair cracks and openings including joints on windows with hydraulic cement. Apply 3 step waterproofing process. Replace footing tile and install cleanouts. Replace downspout lines. Backfill to 18 inches from grade with gravel. Apply filter fabric and top soil to grade. Replace both side entrance and front cement walkways. Cost included disconnecting and reconnecting AC unit.

After our basement flooded due to the snow melt and rain, we contacted several waterproofing services who all tried to sell us their 'system' (each one different). Then we called Integrity, and it was a pleasure doing business with Steve from start to finish. His way of diagnosing and finding the best possible solutions for us (vs. selling a cookie cutter ‘system’) was very much appreciated. He really came through in getting the job done quickly, so we could get back to a more normal life. George and his crew were polite, professional, and very hard working. After finding halfway through the job that our downspouts were actually just dumping into the (non-functional) drain tiles, a creative solution was found and carried out with a minimum of fuss. The fact that it also allowed us to have a french drain to take care of our constantly flooded back yard is a real bonus (at a 3rd the cost we were quoted by a landscape firm for a stand alone job). Of course, it hasn’t rained enough for the pump to come on, but the back yard had no standing water after several inches of rain. From his first visit when he suggested to check with other professionals in case there might be a simpler, cheaper solution that didn’t require his services, we appreciated his integrity. Even more so when we found out we really did need him. Integrity Waterproofing is very aptly named.
Description of Work: Removal of concrete and installation of interior drain tile around 3 walls of our basement. Installation of sump pump and backup system. Rerouting of external drains from two downspouts. Hand digging a trench for drain pipe from our house to a drainage creek (150 ft) and incorporating a french drain for the last 75 ft for our very often flooded back yard.

Mr. allen was extremely knowledgeable, throrough and hones, saving us a lot of time and money. It went very well and we are truly glad we found him because he was able to CORRECTLY diagnose the problem.
Description of Work: I called Mr. Allem to look at a problem we had with water coming into one corner of our basement, along with other contractors from Angie's List. The big difference was that Mr. Allen, in looking at the whole area, noticed that the aluminum siding near and under the gutter right above the problem area had become loose and that there was a minor issue with the roof in that area, which was only 2 years old. He suggested we get the roofers back out to repair the area and we did. Subsequent rains and our own testing showed NO water in the basement. We were astounded as everyone else automatically assumed that the problem was with the drainage tiles or the foundation and gave us estimates to dig up the area and repair the problem. Mr. allen wa professional, personable and thorough. He had run into issues like this before, he said, and rather than perform a repair which was unnecessary, he suggested we start looking in a different direction first. We were able to get the problem fixed and save ourselves thousands of dollars!! I would recommend Mr. Allen's company to everyone I know.

WE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED WITH THE WHOLE JOB! THE MEN WERE VERY POLITE, ON TIME AND VERY HARD WORKING! THEY NEVER WASTED A MOMENT EVEN THOUGH THE WEATHER WAS HOT. YOU CAN BARELY EVEN TELL THAT WE HAD THIS HUGE PROJECT DONE. EVERY DAY THEY LEFT THE PROPERTY SAFE AND AS TIDY AS YOU COULD EXPECT FOR THAT KIND OF WORK..
Description of Work: THEY DUG DOWN TO THE FOOTER ON 3 SIDES (WE HAVE AN ATTCHED GARAGE) OF OUR 2800 SQU.FOOT HOME. PATCHED, MEMBRANE COATED, COVERED WITH ANOTHER NON FLEXIBLE PLASTIC SHEETING, RAN DRAINAGE PIPE, FILLED WITH RIVER STONE (WHICH WE FOUND OUT DOESN'T COMPACT) AND THEN BACKFILLED WITH TOPSOIL.THEY ALSO REMOVED A SMALL CINDERBLOCK WALL AND CEMENT LANDING OUTSIDE THE BASEMENT DOOR. INSTALLED A BIG DRAIN THERE AND REPOURED THE SLAB AND REBUILT THE CINDER BLOCK WALLS. THEY INCORPORATED ALL OF OUR DOWNSPOUTS AND GRADED THEM TO EMPTY DOWN A HILL INTO THE WOODS. THEY HAD TO REMOVE OUR FRONT PORCH (CEMENT) AND REPOURED AGAIN AFTER THE WATERPROOFING WAS COMPLETE. WE NEEDED AN AREA IN OUR BACK YARD FILLED IN AND THEY TOOK THE CLAY FROM AROUND THE HOUSE AND FILLED THAT AREA IN FOR US. THEY ALSO REPLACED A PORTION OF OUR BRICK WALKWAY THAT HAD TO BE REMOVED.

Steve the owner of INTEGRITY WATERPROOFING came to our home, inspected and explained why we were getting water in our basement. He took his time and explained what steps INTEGRITY WATERPROOFING would take to solve our problems. Every explanation he gave turned out to be the honest truth. They started our waterproofing on May 10th and were completed on May 14th. INTEGRITY WATERPROOFING is a well oiled machine. They know their business and and deliver what they promise. The workers from INTEGRITY WATERPROOFING are exceptional.
