The crew completed the work in 2 days, just as they had estimated. They were extremely hard-working and organized and kept us informed of everything necessary as they went along. They promptly sought clarification whenever they had questions before proceeding. They took particularly good care to protect the neighbor's adjacent driveway. They were polite, personable, focused, and neat. And, I would like to again mention how focused and hard-working they were, representative of the old-fashioned concept of "work ethic." We were able and encouraged to observe each step of the operation. They cleaned up the work site nicely upon completion and we are quite satisfied. We would definitely recommend this company to others and would hire them for future work.
Description of Work: They excavated 44' to footer and repaired cracks with hydraulic cement, then applied a 3-step sealing process; Tholoseal, elastomelic membrane, and dimpled drainage mat. They replaced the footer tile with schedule 35 4" perforated PVC, then backfilled to downspout lines and replaced with schedule 35 solid 4" PVC. They backfilled to grade with washed stone and installed a double clean out. They also installed 4 window wells.

Water was coming into the basement through a wall and the floor. Several waterproofing companies gave estimates of over $10,000 for a complete waterproofing job. Steve Allen from Integrity Waterproofing used a different approach by trying to determine why water was coming into the basement. He came to the conclusion that water was coming up through the basement floor due to a blocked lateral line. When the home was built, no clean outs were installed for the lateral line or the footers. Steve gave an estimate of $2000 for excavating to the lateral line, repairing the water leak on the basement wall, and installing clean outs for the footers and lateral line. The workers were very professional and neat. The job was completed within one day. Instead of a $10,000 bill, the problem was resolved for $2,000. If honesty is important to you, then you need to give Integrity Waterproofing a call.
Description of Work: Excavated the area where water was seeping through the basement wall. This was the same location of the lateral line. The debris was removed from the lateral line, waterproofing was completed on the exterior wall, and clean outs were installed.

The work was done very conscientiously and carefully. The proof is that the basement has remained dry through several heavy rainstorms since the work was completed. The crew worked hard and seemed to be happy working together. The workmen made an effort to be neat and avoid damaging landscaping. However, several flagstones were cracked and most of the foundation plantings died after being replaced. n fairness, we were warned beforehand that this might happen and we were expecting it. However, they hauled away good dirt and replaced it with what seemed like pulverized clay which would not hold water when we tried to water the plantings to bring them back. We also wondered whether the plants would have fared better if the workmen had given each one a larger root ball and taken the trouble to water during the course of the project. That is the only real complaint we have against the company. Their main job was done to an excellent standard.
Description of Work: Excavated around the foundation of the house and replaced old pipe. Put protective surface on foundation and refilled excavation. Removed foundation plantings and replaced them afterward.

I CALLED INTEGRITY WATERPROOFING, INC. AND STEVE ALLEN (THE OWNER) DROVE APPROXIMATELY 35 MILES TO MY HOUSE IN MEDINA COUNTY. AFTER ANALYZING THE SITUATION, HE SUGGESTED THAT I HAVE A DRAIN SERVICES COMPANY COME OUT AND INSPECT THE EFFICACY OF THE LATERAL LINE AND THE FOOTER TILES. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I DID. STEVE'S DIAGNOSIS PROVED TO BE EXACTLY RIGHT - THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN REMEDIED. STEVE IS AN HONEST MAN AND THE NAME OF HIS COMPANY (INTEGRITY WATERPROOFING,INC.) DESCRIBES HIM TO A "T". IN THE FUTURE, IF I SHOULD EVER NEED THE SERVICES OF A BASEMENT WATERPROOFING COMPANY, MY VERY FIRST TELEPHONE CALL WILL BE TO "INTEGRITY WATERPROOFING,INC."

He was incredibly honest and upfront with what he recommended and what was necessary and what wasn't. He arrived as scheduled, did work exactly as planned and cleaned up well. So far the basement is bone dry and I am happy to say that he offered a lifetime transferable lifetime warranty against water in the basement and I have no doubt that he would stand behind that warranty if anything ever happened. I will recommend him to anyone that will listen. We have had all kinds of water problems in our basement and have worked with at least 4 companies. Steve at Integrity is bar none the best person we've come in contact with.

Steve provided a very informative and educational assessment of my home and quoted several options available to me. At no time did I feel any pressure. Exterior basement waterproofing is an enormous undertaking, and his crew completed the job in approximately four days. During the project, the job site was kept very neat and orderly. One of my initial concerns was the inconvenience this would cause my neighbor. As it turned out, Steve has this down to a science. My neighbor was hardly affected when that side of my house was worked on. Actually, my neighbor came to me one night to compliment the crew. He said that they were very polite, and he commented how hard they worked (in particular, the utility company couldn't accurately find/mark my gas line, so a greater than normal amount of "hand digging" needed to be done, with no extra cost passed on to me). Steve was there for most of the job, and when finished, we did a "final walk thru". The perimeter of my house was nicely graded.
Description of Work: Basement Waterproofing (Exterior): Excavated entire perimeter of home to the footer, replaced footer tiles and downspout lines, installed clean outs, installed new window wells, and sealed the basement walls using his unique, three step process (see company website @ www.integritywaterproofing.com for a very informative description of this process, including pictures).

Another company gave me an estimate of $2800 and said it was a foundation leak. Steve came to give me an estimate and saw that my condensation tube was not fully connected. He took a hose outside and ran water against the foundation to check for leaks and there were none. Steve reconnected the tube for free. He is honest and trustworthy and is the kind of person that you want working on your house.

Best experience we've ever had with any contractor in any trade. First, Steve did not recommend digging up our entire foundation. He isolated about 15% of the house that needed excavation and advised trying more conservative approaches (regrading, etc.) on the rest. When he does dig, though, there are no half measures. He uses a complete system that goes beyond what a lot of his competitors do. There were several reschedules of the starting date (to be expected in this weather-dependent business), but he was always great about communication. And his crew and his subcontractors are all great - pleasant, professional, and they clean up after themselves. In the middle of the job, the crew ran into an unexpected problem with the foundation. Steve took complete ownership - he was focused on getting the job done right, and he really earned his company's name (Integrity) in how he dealt with that situation. We have a dry basement now and are extremely pleased. Use this company!

Steve and his crew were very professional and reliable. Everyone was friendly and hardworking. I completely trusted them to be alone in my house. It rained a day after they started to work on the basement. The sump pump was not connected yet, but there was noticeable improvement regarding the dampness of the basement. It is obvious that everyone takes pride in their work.
Description of Work: Installed perforated PVC drain tile. Covered drains with poly-drain dimple water barrier. Installed full wall safe wall panels including chimney. Installed a standard crock in corner by washer & dryer. Placed 1/3 HP Barnes cast iron sump pump & discharge to downspout. Repaired downspout. Removed & repaired NW corner of floor. Sealed driveway cove. Cleaned out the drain in driveway. Covered customer's shelves with plastic and placed plastic at the top of stairs.

If you are serious about having your basement waterproofed, stop searching and hire this company. I did a lot of research and had estimates from 5 different companies. Integrity Waterproofing did everything they claimed they would do. The workers were extremely friendly and professional. They even worked in the rain to get the job done on time. For the first time since I've owned this house, I have a dry basement! I could not be any more pleased than I am with the Job Steve and his crew did. I would hire them again. I recommend them to anyone looking for a quality basement waterproofing job. Integrity... the name says it all!
Description of Work: A trench was dug to the footer of my foundation around the outside perimeter of my house, including under the porch and under the concrete driveway. Exterior basement walls were sealed with hydolic cement, mortar, a rubber-like substance and dimpled plastic sheeting. New drain tiles were installed. The trench was filled with stones up to 18 inches from grade. The rest was filled with soil. The concrete that was removed from my driveway was was replaced. My yard was completely cleaned up and returned to its original apperance. They will also be adding 5 glass block windows in my basement, included in the price.

This was a pleasant experience from start to finish. I have already recommended Integrity to interested parties. Several houses in this immediate neighborhood have had similar waterproofing done in the past few years, yet all our neighbors commented on how expeditiously and neatly this job was done. The crew was courteous, skilled, and very hard working. They and owner Steve Allen were helpful in helping me to pinpoint an additional problem with a collapsed drainage line 85 ft. away from the house. All work was accomplished in four and a half days, exactly on schedule. A further bonus was that Mr. Allen arranged with local meteorologists for five consecutive days of sunny, dry days with temperatures in the 70s while the work was being done.
Description of Work: This was excavation down to the footer tiles around three sides of a 1953 house, followed by repair of all cracks, a 3-step sealing process, replacement of footer and downspout tiles, and backfilling with washed gravel to within 18 inches of grade. Work also included cutting a trench through the concrete floor of an attached garage, removal of a 12' x 12' concrete patio, and removal of several large shrub & tree stumps near the house. Debris, broken concrete, and excavated clay were hauled away promptly.

As a very experienced home re-modeler, I can highly recommend Integrity Waterproofing. The company delivered exactly what was promised. From the initial no-pressure and educational estimate meeting to the final placement of the last shrub, they met and/or exceeded my expectations. Having dealt with dozens of contractors over the years I can say that Integrity Waterproofing was one of the best among the group. Another good sign was the company returned after the job was done to address a couple of lingering issues that I had. This is the true test of a company: will they honor their warranties AFTER they have been paid. On this count, Integrity lived up to its name. In conclusion, after an exhaustive search for a company to complete my rather large job, I found someone who not only gave me a reasonable price but also completed the work on time and on budget. I highly recommend them to anyone considering waterproofing.

It was an excellent experience for me as a homeowner. They completed the job in just three days as promised. Great care was taken to protect my belongings and the rest of the home from dust; cleanup and finish work was very thorough. What could have potentially been a messy nightmare was in fact a very pleasant experience from start to finish. These are skilled craftsmen who take pride in their work and strive to serve their clients with understanding and respect. Pricing was very reasonable for the work involved, and the work was appropriate for the situation (not a cookie-cutter solution). I would highly recommend Integrity Waterproofing to anyone - the name says it all!
Description of Work: Interior waterproofing of basement, including digging around interior walls, installation of 4'' perforated ceramic drain tile on a bed of washed gravel, sump pump with lid, waterproofing panels. Extra materials included visquine liner over the panels and dimpled membrane barrier over the tiles. Floor was repoured level with existing floor and three major humps in the floor (caused by tree roots invading the foundation) were also levelled.
