I called james about the job, he asked me to email his assistant as he was at a job site when I called. His assistant was quick to respond to my email and got me set up with an appointment. She emailed again a couple of days before to check that the time was still good for me. James came to look at the problem, we discussed solutions and a price. He was back within the week to complete the job which he did efficiently. I would use his services again, he was prompt, efficient and very knowledgable of the best products and solutions for the situation.

This whole process of contacting contractors and getting them to come out to just get an estimate for this job was not easy. But when I contacted Gibson the company came out right away to give an estimate. They also took the time to answer ALL of my questions and addressed any concerns I had. After contacting a few more companies to get estimates, I finally decided on Gibson. I was put on the schedule for the job to start Nov. 4. But a couple days before I got a phone call saying that they had completed the previous job early and would be out on Nov 3 instead. The three gentlemen arrived on time and got right to work. The job was completed in two days even though it was estimated the job would take three to four days. The gentlemen (Jim, Red and Kevin) were very friendly, pleasant and cleaned up when they were done each day. I have already let Jim know about a couple of future projects. I will definitely use them again.

Work done quickly, professionally. Employees were good natured and friendly.

I originally had an appointment to receive an estimate for work, but because the job was so small it was able to be completed that day with no extra scheduling. Everything was done well and on time. There were no problems at all.

Very well. Replaced the lap siding, painted the lap siding correctly and we're done in short order.

The company was good in the beginning with communication. We set up a date for them to come look at the project. They never showed up nor called. We then set up another appointment, they did not show up again. They said they forgot about me. I will be using another company.

First the old tile floor had to be removed and then a new tile floor installed. They we're prompt, polite, did a great job and cleaned everything up! What a relief it is to deal with a company that knows what it is doing! The price was reasonable and the result was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend this company! Mike Sievers

These guys priced out well but they left probably hundreds of nails and bits of shingles after the garage reroof. I had to clean up my neighbors yard area were the garage area borders as well as take a bag around picking up all the nails and bits of shingles not cleaned up. So that was disappointing. We have small kids so having such a sloppy clean up job was annoying. Otherwise these guys were fine and fairly accommodating to work with.

Contacted Mr. Gibson for an estimate on a large remodeling project. After reading reviews on Angies List, I was looking forward to potentially working with Mr. Gibson. He came over to a house that I am purchasing and utilizing a rehab loan to have the work done. Mr. Gibson spoke about knowing the rehab loan process and navigating his way through it. He was one of several contractors to provide an estimate. After the initial delay in getting the estimate I contacted Mr. Gibson and was told I would have it by the end of the weekend. The weekend came and passed as well as an additional week. I again contacted Mr. Gibson by telephone. As I was asking Mr. Gibson about the estimate on the phone he began laughing at me and hung up. I was unsure if it was a bad connection so I tried calling back and received no answer. I then contacted his office. His secretary told me she would contact Mr. Gibson and have him call me. I never received a call. I was told I would be provided and estimate and wasn't. I thought whole heartedly I would use Mr. Gibson on this project as he was familiar with these types of projects. To add insult to injury, Mr. Gibson laughed at me on the phone when I inquired about the estimate. In my opinion, Mr. Gibson is extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend his services to anyone.

It went fine. They were timely in their delay as they wanted to wait until all the leaves had fallen. I wasn't made aware that they had done the work however; I had to call them and ask if they had come out.

It was a big deal. It was okay. It was easy to get scheduled.

James first gutted our entire kitchen. We have a 100 yr old house, so it was a big job just for the first stage. We have a new ceiling, new floor, and a new wall where the new cupboards were installed. Everything that was contracted and more was completed in a perfect and timely manner. The workers were pleasant, and did beautiful work. I love my new kitchen and would not hesitate to employee James and his crew again!

I have several items that need repair on my home. James Gibson met me after work. Wrote down all itmes and said he would send a quote. I have never heard from him again.

excellent work. only comment: it would have been good to have left a note that the company had been at my home and done the work, e.g., put a "completed" hang-tag on the front or side door handle.

Cost estimate was competitive with other quotes. So close, in fact, that I used Angie's List review to select Gibson Construction. Work was scheduled shortly after and, while delayed one day due to illness, was completed in two days. The floor looks great. We are very pleased with the work.

This has been the smoothest remodeling project in my 7 years as a homeowner. Everything was easy and on time - scheduled the estimate via email, and James showed up as schedule and on time. I received the completed estimate (with lots of detail around the work and costs involved) quickly, and had the work scheduled within 2 weeks or so. When it was time to get the work done, everyone showed up as promised. James and two of his employees completed the project - they were polite, cleaned up after themselves, and worked hard to get the job done as well and as efficiently as possible. I have several other projects that will need to be completed next year, and Gibson General Contracting is the first place I'll be calling.

Great! I have no complaints. The entire team was polite, professional, cleaned up nicely and did a very good job. I will employ this company for all my future jobs. I was impressed with their honesty and putting in many days of good hard work.

Everything turned out well. They arrived on time, did a thorough job, and didn't leave any debris in the yard.

I am now requesting a refund from Angie's List due to all these issues. I was very surprised at the behavior of this provider as he is listed as an A rating on Angie's List.

The service went fine. They did exactly what the deal stated. They made a few repairs to the roof at no additional cost. The technicians did a nice job. They were quick and professional. I had no problem contacting the company or scheduling the service.

It did not go no return calls nothing

He was very nice and responded quickly, but he is unavailable to do the work until August (maybe), so I have decided to cancel teh deal and find someone who can do the gutter cleaning sooner.

The communication from Nora was very prompt and well-written. The issue with the service was strictly scheduling. The deal did not mention a time frame, but it did say to be ready to use the coupon starting April 1st. I was informed my service would likely not be performed until late July or early August. With scheduling being that late. there is no point to have the service performed.
