European Handyman

Previously my husband had tried this and nearly brought down the entire wall. Dietmar (I am not sure of the spelling of his first name), had the job done perfectly in about an hour.

Came on time; did the work unsupervised; work was done right.

Dietmar tore out an old spa tub we didn't want, then framed the area required for a smaller tub and shower. We bought the tub/shower at Loew's. He picked it up and installed it, returning several times to check for leaks and adjust the water flow (hot & cold) to our satisfaction. It was a rather complex job. He also fixed our bathroom fans to work and vent properly. We've lost count of the different jobs Dietmar has done for us over the past 7 years or so, both at our new house and previous house. We don't know how we ever managed without him! He's done very large and complex jobs for us and some very small fix-it things we either didn't know how to do or didn't have time. He's always courteous, punctual, neat as a pin and does perfect work. We've referred him to many friends. You can't go wrong!

Dietmar is a true professional and very thorough. His prices are very reasonable and he is a very efficient worker and very polite. He calls before he arrives and shows up on time and does excellent work. We will definitely use him for future repairs and remodeling jobs as we move forward with upgrades to our house. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and very high quality and courteous handyman. A+++++ across the board. The cost I put in above includes the first job as well. I may be off (under) by $100 to $150 (but he is worth every dollar). He is still working at this time so the approximate total may be between $500 to $600 for both jobs.

He shows up on time and is ready to work. My project took a few visits, patch drywall, sand, and paint,. He was always on time, did what I needed and cleaned up every time. The only issue I had was he missed some spots while painting the ceiling., but as anyone who has painted a ceiling knows that is easy to do. He is a good handyman and does quality work

Dietmar responded quickly to my call, and came the day after. He was extremely courteous, and very efficient at his work. He showed me exactly what was wrong, and got parts from Lakewood Hardware, as I requested him to do. He even showed me their receipts! He is extremely honest and always responds when we call. He even did a few extras, and mom just loves the repair!

He worked with me to find a date to install the light fixtures before our party, Did an excelent job would recommend him to others

He was very nice. He bought the parts he needed and I repaid him for them. He only used 55 minutes of the 3 hours I paid for and when he was leaving he told me that I could use the remaining time whenever I needed him. There woul dbe no expiration date. When I called him a few months later, he said he would call me back the following week. I never heard from him. I was disappointed. This should not reflect about what I think of his job performance, however. He did a good job with what he did do. He was also very polite and professional.

Dietmar was very professional, punctual and pleasant. He went about his work without idleness.

He is very prompt and returns calls right away. He is very knowledgeable as well as professional.

Mr Senft was a pleasure to deal with start to finish. He was respectful, prompt to reply, easy to schedule with and always professional. He was lightening quick completing things it would take me a few hours to do in minutes and the work was perfectly and neatly done. He used about half the 3 hour time of the big deal I had purchased and has promised to return once I have another list ready.

I like the professionalism and friendliness of Dietmar and his partner Joe. The estimate was the best of three which saved us a great deal of money. These two worked well together and demonstrated great team work.

I've known Deitmar for years now. As always, his work was outstanding. He is punctual, courteous, and very neat. By the time he is finished, it's hard to tell he was ever there. I call him all the time. Unless my project is an emergency, I will wait until he is available rather than work with somebody else.

It went well. They came out shortly after I purchased the deal and I paid additional fees above the big deal amount. he was very meticulous and very clean.

No work was performed due to the fact that the coupon purchased through Angie's List expired prior to him having time in his schedule to do the work, so we spent $99.00 for him to not be able to work with our schedule......very disappointed

He was hard to get a hold of. I wanted him to come out and give me an estimate for some work. Eventually he came and he was nice and pleasant. But he never sent the estimate like he promised.

Great. Dietmar is very professional. He did a perfect job of hanging my door and had good ideas about how to put up the rest of the items in my garage. He left no mess at all - and is very precise in his work.

When I was ready I couldn't get him over here, yet he'd posted 'new' requests for business. I think he was hand-picking jobs he would take, even though he advertised in the 'Big Deal.'

Great experience! Dietmar is very professional and friendly. He responds to voicemails very quickly and calls to confirm before coming to do the job. He is very meticulous and did great work, also he explained what he was doing and why and how to keep it looking good later.

I have used him for years. I hadn’t had him do anything in a while but I called him back and had him do some work. As usual he did a wonderful job. I can always rely on him to get the job done, and to do it right. I am happy after it's done. Other people I have hired to do work and afterwards felt the work was less than fantastic. I have never had any complaints with this guy.

He cut down the window to fit into the frame, and made the whole assembly work properly. Also, in the process noticed a door that stuck and cut it down to open and close properly. Great Job!

lDetmar, the European Handyman, came to our house twice in the past 3 months. He always showed up on time, was very professional and has a great work ethic. His prices are fair and I would not hesitate to use him for additional work. He plaster patched an extensive area by the second floor hallway and a smaller area in the basement. I just finished painting the repaired areas and they truned out great. He also fixed a pesky leak in the kitchen faucet and repaired an electrical outlet. By far his absolute best work was finding the source of a clogged pipe on an outdoor faucet and replacing the junction. Our water pressure has never been better.
