Description of Work: He fixed a broken window, fixed a leaky faucet/replaced faucet, fixed a door, fixed leak under kitchen sink. He fixed wood that had been ripped at the bottom of the door.

+ 0 moreDoug was very prompt in coming over to provide an estimate and arrived on time on the day the work was to begin. His price was very reasonable and he did a quality job.
Description of Work: Repair of loose threshold (''stoop'' stair) coming into my house. Doug took out the old step, prepainted the new step plus vertical support board underneath. He used other support wood underneath the main stepping board, and connected everything via staple gun, cement and other bonding adhesive. When finished, Doug touched up the paint job. The job looks great and that board will never loosen again!

+ 0 moreDoug did a really nice job. He really wanted the work to be completed in a totally professional manner & paid a couple of extra visits to make it so. The floor looks great & the tub is totally excellent. He is a nice guy to work with & a very hard worker! The estimate was given & there were no surprises at the end!
Description of Work: Doug installed a new standard size jacuzzi tub in our master bath which had only a basin-style shower prior. This required plenty of tile work, electrical, plumbing, & creativity from basement to 3rd floor. He also stripped & refinished the hardwood floor in our den.

+ -1 moreWE LOVE DOUG BECAUSE HE IS VERY AFFORDABLE AND HE ENCOURAGES YOU TO DO THINGS ON YOUR OWN TO CUT COSTS IF YOU CHOOSE TO DO SO. WITH OUR TOILET, HE INITIALLY CAME TO FIX IT. WHEN HE WAS UNABLE TO DO THAT, HE TOLD US HE WOULD ONLY CHARGE US $75 MORE TO INSTALL A TOILET WE PURCHASED. WE THOUGHT THAT WAS REALLY FAIR SINCE HE WAS UNABLE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS WITH OUR TOILET. SINCE HE HAS INSTALLED THE NEW TOILET WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY FLUSHING PROBLEMS.
Description of Work: WE HAVE USED DOUG FOR A MYRIAD OF HOME PROJECTS. HE RECENTLY INSTALLED A TOILET IN OUR 1/2 BATH.
