Proprietor was prompt in responding, gave us a timely appt, offered to arrive early when his schedule allowed, and explained to us what he thought was going on. All for no charge, since the problem appears to be outside the house, and he did not charge for checking out our voltages and our electric panel. How often does that happen? He set our minds at rest, and off he went to do good elsewhere.... Will certainly use again once we have the electric company check their wiring.

Blue Star did a stellar job and would hire again. We had a bad storm to which a branch fell on our electrical wiring disconnecting the power from the home. Hank and his team made our situation a top priority to get us back up an running, even in the poor weather. In addition, I requested a certain installation with the uncertainty of it being completed...Hank came through on that too! all work completed in 6 hrs. electricians were here on time, worked efficiently and left clean work area. explained all work done including grounding rods etc. arranged and was present for city inspector later in week. Pleasant and professional. My only concern after work was done was a cosmetic concern with outside grounding : quickly fixed to my satisfaction. have used this company in the past and would definitely use in future.

Electrician came to discuss the work and I was told I'd receive a proposal by email later. I waited over a week. I never received a proposal. I called again and never got a response.

He listens to the customer, what they want done and comes up with a plan based on what you are looking for. He is very professional. He is a very good guy. He is honest and has integrity.

He went to the property but never contacted me with an estimate. I followed up with a text and phone call (left message) but no response.

I spent some time trying to find the right provider to replace the service lines that come from the city power supply, down to my meter and into my panel. I received 3-4 quotes from different companies until I found Hank and Blue Star Electric. His initial walk through was very thorough and he identified a few items that needed to be brought up to code along with the replacement. I expected this as the home is almost 100 years old now. One of the other companies that quoted me also caught these issues, but the others did not. It goes to show, do your homework on who you hire. While Blue Star Electric was not the cheapest of the quotes I got, after speaking with Hank, I was comfortable with moving forward with him. He was on time, easy to deal with, friendly and most importantly, he did a fantastic job. The materials he used where high quality and should last a very long time. The job was even completed faster than he originally anticipated which was great because we were without power during the upgrade. Im happy with my choice and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hank to friends and family.
