This is the second time we have had Hank do work in our house and we couldn't be happier. On this visit, he removed some track lighting from our kitchen and replaced it w. a new, single light fixture that I provided. I also asked that he look at an old outlet in my dining room to see if it was functional and he determined it was too old and unsafe for use, so he capped the wires and covered it up free of charge. He is always punctual and communication is a breeze.

Due to a misunderstanding, missed our first appointment - but Hank was so apologetic I was convinced it was an honest mistake. He showed up early for each subsequent appointment. The initial panel was damaged, so he had to run back to the supplier to exchange it, but the work was completed on time and passed inspection. He even knocked off $100 because of the initial misunderstanding. Hank was very knowledgeable. I will call Blue Star next time I need any electrical work.

I called Blue Star Electric on Monday morning to replace a light switch in my bathroom. Hank called me back about an hour later and came right over and replaced the light switch. I would definitely call Hank again and would recommend him to anyone.

GREAT. Hank was responsive, on-time, efficient, fast, pleasant, knowledgeable ... etc. all the good words that can be applied to someone you hired to do work. All around great experience. Hank was friendly, but not overly, he's there on time, does the job correctly, professionally, ask for what he needed from me, shows me what he has done, explain each aspect of the work, cleans up after, all around a pleasant experience.

This is precisely why I use Angie's List. Hank delivers A1 professional services. He was quick with the estimate and came in the lowest. Took some of my ideas and made them happen to code. Lighting in our four built-ins changes the whole character of the main floor. Ceiling fan reminds me of vacation. Yard light will pay for itself in 2 years. He was on time, efficient, flexible and cordial. He will be my first call for the next project.

Two men came out and worked really hard.The workers came when they said they would and were very reliable. The job took about 10 hours to complete. They did everything the proper way, were very knowledgeable and I think they did a fantastic job.

It didn't go. They never answered our calls. They could at least have let us know if they were too busy to take on more work. VERY unprofessional!

Hank does neat work, is very professional, and he knows and cites electrical codes when determining how to approach a job and is generally a nice guy to be around. He's by far the best contractor of any trade I've found on angie's list and he alone has made the membership cost worthwhile. I'm working on a list of projects for his next visit!

Everything he did comes out first rate and neatly finished. I'm very pleased with his work.

Hank of Blue Star called promptly (8 a.m.) on the following Monday. He assured me he would come to our house that day, either mid-morning or late afternoon. He called our house a little later to confirm that he would arrive in the afternoon, around 4 p.m. He arrived promptly and assessed the situation. He replaced both outlets with GFI outlets and made sure everything was okay both in the kitchen and in the basement, at the electric panel. We were very grateful that Hank was so responsive and came to our house the same day. Electrical problems are anxiety provoking, so having the problem taken care of so promptly made us feel much better! Hank is a true professional who stands behind his work. We've used Blue Star several times and highly recommend the company.

They did a wonderful job and were very professional. I was happy with them and will use them again. They got the job done over 2 days. They sent 2 people out to do the job.

I called and left a message. No returned call. I called back a few days later and left a message. No returned call. My husband called the next day and left a message. No returned call. This was about three weeks ago and to this point we have not heard word one from this company. I am VERY glad we found another electrician who was professional, courteous and responsive. If you choose this electrician, GOOD LUCK GETTING A RESPONSE!

Service was great. Hank provided a very competitive quote and the service kept to the quoted price. If needed, I will use Hank's services again.

I had an old service line going into my breaker panel and got it replaced. Hank from Blue Star called me after I contacted them and setup an estimate. The job started right on time at 8 AM and was done around noon. Job was well done with a ground to the outside and the water line. Plastic pipe with a weather hood, drip lines a meter box and piping all the way from outside to the breaker box. Professional job from great professional. They were great to deal with. Look way better and better the other places on my street.

Hank came out when scheduled and replaced outlets in several rooms. He also explained how to correct a problem we had with one of our circuit breakers. He was professional and did a good job at a reasonable price.
