 + 2 moreRocco was quick to set up an appt for an estimate and promptly set up appts with several different options for the new framework around the fireplace. He beautifully replicated the Arts and Crafts style wooden fireplace that I had found in a magazine, recreated baseboards and windowsills that fit perfectly into the existing structure. He was pleasant to work with, worked quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend him for custom carpentry work, which I believe is his specialty, but I believe he would be an excellent choice for other work around the house including roof, duct work and general remodeling based on discussions I've had with him about other work I hope to do in the future.
Description of Work: I had recently purchased an 1920's bungalow and had "dismantled" the old,ugly mantle around the fireplace to find that there had been some "remodeling" done about 50 years ago. There were baseboards and windowsills that had been cut and removed, and the brickwork didn't do the room justice. Rocco beautifully replicated the Arts and Crafts style wooden fireplace that I had found in a magazine, recreated baseboards and windowsills that fit perfectly into the existing structure.

 + -1 moreI HAD HIM OUT FOR AN ESTIMATE OF SIDING AND MASONRY REPAIR. I ASKED FOR REFERENCES, HE SAID HE WOULD GET THEM TO ME. THEN WHEN I CALLED HIM BACK TO SEE ABOUT THE REFERENCES HE SAID SINCE IT WAS A SMALLER JOB HE WOULD NOT GIVE REFERENCES AND SHARE CONFIDENTIAL PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT HIS PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS.
