+ 0 moreFred Carter's crew custom installed everything over the course of a few days. He repositioned the air cleaner under the furnace to maximize air flow. He also built a rack to mount the tankless water heater neatly on the wall. His tinners re-worked vents and duct work to accommodate the new equipment. He also installed a new remote sensor for the thermostat. When originally built, the thermostat was installed in the foyer where it was often bathed in sunlight for a couple of hours every morning. The sunlight would warm the wall and the thermostat above the temperature it was set to maintain, causing the furnace to shut down or the air conditioner to run unnecessarily. Gas and electric bills have decreased dramatically.
Description of Work: Total replacement of old furnace, air conditioning unit and hot water heater with state-of-the-art American Standard furnace and air conditioner, air cleaner, AprilAire humidifier, and Navien tankless water heater.
