It's been good. The guy knows his stuff. It was a little obnoxious sort of signing on with him just because the lead-out time was forever like when you contacted him, they couldn't anything for two more months, but given the nature of the business, I think that's somewhat standard. And then they would get back and say, "well, reply to this if you want us to come" and then you had to do it again as the date gets closer, and I was like, "what is this game? I made an appointment, why are you acting like this?" They wanted a confirmation repeatedly. It was fine to get one, but it was like, "wait a second, is this going to happen or no? I've already confirmed. Are you going to show up ion the intended date or no? Because if not, I'm going to tell Angie's List." They wrote back and were very apologetic. I presume they're just trying to cut down on insincere future clients, I'm not sure what, but at any rate, they did show up and I've done a fair amount of work with them since then. They came out maybe a couple of weeks ago. I've used them twice. The first time they were here for 3 straight days and then they came back a month later and used another 2 or 2-1/2 straight days. I'm going to keep using them. The first time was $3000-some-odd-hundred dollars, the second time was over $7000. One of the things, for them to break it down, I didn't ask for it, so I can't really say that they did anything wrong, but they put in 3 new trees and I don't know what they cost before they put them in. It would have been kind of nice for them to do it upfront and for future work, I'm going to ask for that. Like, "okay, let's not just agree to do this, I want an estimate as to what it's going to cost and then I'll tell you if I want to go forward with it or not". I think they do good work and they're nice and they know their stuff, at least the guys I worked with do. I don't know how large the company is. There's 4 people that I work with pretty much and the staff in the office, Diane, is nice. It's sort of a family business. They did good work and they clean up after themselves. I didn't have anyone else do the work, so I don't know about pricing. Frequently the dates they said they would come, they couldn't because it would have rained. So, I don't want to knock them on punctuality when it was no fault of their own, if it rains, it rains and they're not going to be able to work. It's not as if they were no-shows. They just called and it was not going to be. I thought that they were professional.

We are now looking at other garden bed to replant with local prairie grasses and perennials.

The crew were very professional and considerate. They took such great care of the plant, lawn, ivy trimming, pruning, mulching and so much more. I feel my plants, trees and the whole huge yard got a lot of love and care which made me so happy and appreciative.

This is the third time we have used Marvin's Organic Gardens. They do absolutely outstanding work. We always ask for Kyle's team which consists of Kyle, Josh, and TJ. This was a four day job under fairly sever heat and humidity conditions but the work was accomplished on time and we could not be happier with the finished product.

Outstanding service. They were excellent about scheduling us and keeping us up to date regarding such things as rain delays, etc. They did a great job of planting and mulching. I love their maintenance options. We received a number of estimates, and Wes was by far and away the most knowledgeable of all the people who came by. We have just engaged them to return for another project. Highly recommended.

Excellent. We have Deer issues. They went thru alternatives with us. Some shrubs still succumbed to the Deer but they replaced them Free of charge with better Deer Resistant variaties. Very pleasant and knowledgeable about what we need in our area. Will use them again.

The team of three men arrived when scheduled, were reviewed with the specifics of the job, they worked at least eight hours solid the first day, and had the job completed by noon the second day. Everything discussed was completed, plus they added a few extra touches and cleaned up was exceptional. You couldn't even tell that any work had taken place.

Arrived on time. Very friendly and helpful. Worked straight thru until finished. Reviewed work done.

My last treatment was to purchase Pre-emergent Weed & Feed for me to spread on my lawn. I think it was too late to get good results on large leaf clover. I have almost NO dandelions from previous seeding and fertilizer. Still waiting for more results with "choking out" other weeds. Great grass!! - It's a longer drive now to Oregonia to pickup their products.

The company provided a blueprint that we approved. However, they did not install a supporting wall and the patio immediately started drifting. The seat wall is glued on top of the patio pavers and could probably be kicked over at this point. They were here so long that our grass cutter asked if they were ever going to finish the job. Their dump truck was stuck in the up position for weeks in our backyard creating a safety hazard for our children. We couldn't use the back yard at all for months. They smoked, played loud music, but were really nice when we asked them to stop. The owner's son refused to come see the work. He did send someone back to fix the stairs that were slanted into our kitchen. We paid a structural engineer $500 and sent him the report. He said we complained too much and dismissed us. We paid a lawyer $1000-2000 to send him a letter asking they fix it. We contacted the BBB, which he said he didn't care because they were quitting that service anyway. Our patio has continued to erode to the point no one can sit on the walls. Several companies estimate $3000 the remove the patio pavers, stairs, and walls, clean up all the gravel they built the patio on. Lots of little issues but overall a poor installation and no ownership from the business. Pardon the weeds in the photo. We're deciding how to get rid of it and what to do next. The weeds are another issue as the compost they spread throughout our yard was full of garbage, cigarette filters, and weeds. The grass cutter said some of these weeds don't even grow in this part of Cincinnati. We're hesitant to trust another landscaper now.

They had a large set up out back where they had large quantities of hastas. He raised organic vegetables. Hes a big promoter of organic fertilizers.

The work was excellent--done on time, excellent quality. Our yard looks great--need some reworking done this year as opportunistic plants have invaded some of the beds. I look forward to working with them again!

They did an excellent job trimming our shrubs and cleaning up the beds. The beds were full of oak leaves and they looked great when done. The employees were super nice and polite. In addition, Marvin's did an excellent job communicating with me and coming when requested.

I could not be more pleased with Wes and the crew that did the work. Attention to detail and working with us on minor changes as the work progressed were highlights of this project. This project took several weeks to complete.

They were terrific and we loved them. They were reasonable and informative. They helped up not pay so much when we didn't need to and they fixed our problems. They were very personable and very helpful. They knew what they were talking about and they solved our problems.
