Description of Work: Very pleased with my experience with Marvin's Organic Gardens. I purchased a Big Deal for a consultation, and I got a quick call to set up an appointment time. Wesley came out to do the consultation, and was very thorough. His proposal included four possible work items, all of which were interesting to us, but because of budget constraints we moved forward with two. The agreed work was scheduled for approx 4 weeks after acceptance. The team turned up on time, kept the work site clean, were very professional, and completed the work to schedule. I would defintely work with Marvin's Organic Gardens again.

Description of Work: We purchased an Angie's List deal for landscaping planning. We absolutely loved the plan that they came up with and felt it was unique to our style/favorite flowers. We ended up purchasing all of their recommendations and completing our landscaping over a few days. We are so glad we had their professional advice and tips!

Description of Work: Wes from Marvins Gardens created a design for landscaping my back yard which has significant challenges with drainage, tree roots, and shade. They wrote a proposal to execute the design. The design met our needs, but the cost seemed quite high. However, we have nothing to compare it to as yet. Also, the timing of the proposal being early November precluded doing the work at that time.

Description of Work: Bought a Big Deal for landscape design. It was difficult to schedule an appointment, needed two to get the designs complete because he had another appointment and had shown up late to our first one. Price to install landscaping was very expensive and we decided not to use them for installation.

Description of Work: Wes did a great job at providing a landscaping plan that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. He provided a detailed plan, and also mapped out key features like a retaining wall and fence line with marker flags. He also offered to come back and refine the design if we would like. We didn't take them up on the offer because we like to do landscaping projects ourselves, plus the initial estimate on the retaining wall installation was quite high.

Description of Work: Wes Duren spent time walking the property and listening to what we wanted and what we did not want. he spent a few hours preparing a detailed landscaping plan for our review. No high pressure - lots of enthusiasm. We will most likely hire him to do the work.

Description of Work: My husband and I are wanting to plant three trees in our yard to provide a break from the neighbors. We also wanted some additional trees to provide shade and improve the overall look of the yard. We also wanted to use trees that will benefit the local wild life. Their landscape manager came out and he listened to what I wanted and offered some suggestions on plantings that fit with what we wanted to do. He didn't try and talk me into planting trees that were just pretty in the fall or were one of "his favorites" like one of the other business had done that came out to bid on the work. In total I got three bids for planting trees. I have already mailed in the contract for them to do the work and am looking forward to getting the work done.
