Description of Work: Cleaned embankment along the lake of tall grasses and infesting willows, and put down weed fabric and stones along the bank and along the wood-chip path and planted about 6 large islands of shrubs (roses, etc) that make the lakefront look tremendous.

Description of Work: We requested Marvins Organic Gardens provide us with some landscaping options and costs. Wes walked the areas we requested landscape support for, listened to our thoughts on what we wanted accomplished, and discussed his ideas on plants etc. Wes then provided us an extremely detailed landscape plan with separate costs for each area. We wIll definitely have Marvins Organic Gardens do the work once we decide what we want done initially as we view this as a several phase project. Bottom line we were very impressed with Wes and the company and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Marvin and his crew put in the most beautiful stonework fountain. I saw one like it and they custom built it to my space and home decor. It looks great; all the neighbors have commented on it. And it sounds lovely, when we are sitting out in the evening on the front porch. They picked out beautiful stones, to match our house. They were punctual and were done in two days. The price was as estimated and they even cleaned up after themselves. Great job! We ill have them back when we tackle the back yard.

Description of Work: Wes came out to meet with us to consult on landscaping. He was punctual, personable and clearly very passionate about his work. Description of Work: They removed a lot of old and overgrown bushes and installed new plantings and river rock and trimmed bushes that were remaining. Some of the plants they planted in the back were eaten by deer (which he said would not happen) and he has not replaced them....said they would come back (?). Wes (owner) also promised us that a group would come late Fall to clean up and prepare for the winter and that never happened.

Description of Work: Wes and crew came out to assess and begin the job on our agreed date. He and I agreed that what I really wanted was to reseed my whole yard and do other necessary leveling of the soil. I began the lengthy process of daily waterings throughout my yard. Work continues on my part with keeping the soil moist and trying to chase away all of the falling leaves(!) but the yard is looking beautiful. Wes returned about 20 days after the initial seeding to do an additional "touch up" seeding - so more watering for me and the yard. Wes is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about caring for the yard, so I'm very pleased with what I have invested in my property.
