Description of Work: Wes kept our appointment even though there was a bit of snow on the ground. He asked me first if I had a vision for the landscaping around my house and which plantings I was hoping to keep. He then meticulously circled around the house (about 60' x 25'), drew up a wonderful detailed plan on graph paper, and presented it to me in 3 phases (front and front portion of sides, back and back portion of sides, replacement of screening on porch) that I could combine, do stepwise, or do partially. I didn't realize that his crew was able to refresh my deck and porch in addition to providing beautiful landscaping. The entire proposal, including labor, all plantings, mulching, screening, and cleanup will cost about $5000 (2000 + 2000 + 1000), and I thought that the cost was very reasonable.

There’s a place that we are going to put up on sale and he was very price conscious. We got a very good plan. It was economical and if use their specialty which is maybe plans which should be a lot more durable over the long run.

+ -1 moreThe service turned out fine. We scheduled an appointment and they did not show up, they made excuses as to why they did not show up for appointment. It was a two-step process, he did a design for the backyard first and came back to do a design for the front yard. They gave us hard copies of the designs and some additional information through email. He was very knowledgeable and I thought he did a great job with the design for the front yard.
Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for $75 for complete, on-site landscape design, and consultation.

I was impressed with the fact that he observed that I find joy in doing my own gardening and did provided me with a lot of DIY information. There was no pressure to use his services to provide the work he was recommending though he gave me a very fair estimate and we are planning to use his services again in the future.

The work was done quickly - basically two days -- with a couple of quick trips back for finishing and detail work. The crew cleaned up their mess well. There were a couple of finishing touches I contacted Wes about, and they were done promptly -- they may have intended to do them at the next opportunity anyway. Overall it was a very good experience.
Description of Work: Installed natural stone edging around an existing paver patio and paver walkway. Installed an additional retaining/decorative wall to match existing retaining walls.

He then spent quite some time measuring and working up design options onsite. We then sat together and went through the design which he broke into manageable chunks of work as I had requested and talked through all the selections he had made, along with appropriate timing and order to be successful. Great experience and ongoing conversation afterwards. I plan to continue working with him to implement our plan.
