Marvin's Organic Gardens

Description of Work: This was just an estimate on what work was needed to update and refresh our landscaping. We did not follow thru because we have an expensive and pending re-do of our master bath. When we do get around to the landscaping, we will call them again to see if they are still interested in helping us out. Betsy Schapp

Description of Work: Wes kept his inital appointment on time. However...the "4 inches of compost" was more like 2 inches and very lumpy. He told me he would be back in 4-6 weeks to reseed as needed....if he came, he didn't call to let me know he was coming. He told me it might be to late in the season for the grass to get a good start. His workers (two in number), did clear out some honeysuckle bushes and do some cleanup as we agreed. An area of small weeds by the front of the house did not get cleaned up as I had requested (Wes didn't agree to that he said). Leason learned by me...get the workman to put in writing what will be completed. I expected a better looking yard for that amount of money.

Description of Work: I purchased a lawncare design from Marvin's Organic Gardens on Angie's List Big Deals for $75. They called me to arrange the consultation and when they came out they were very professional and were answered all of our questions. We were very happy with their ideas and they gave us a design that we really liked. We will probably be using them to carry out this design in the spring.

Description of Work: Very responsive. Understood exactly what I wanted. Developed a perfect design I already did a review. So far I am very impressed. Loved the plan, prompt and very courteous. Great design. Plan to install but haven't done it yet. So far would definitely use them again . Plan to pend around 3000

Description of Work: Frank Stewart of Marvins Organic Gardens came to our home and drew up a landscape design while he was here. My husband and I were both amazed at how quickly he assessed our needs and drew up the landscape plan in great detail. It is a beautiful design. He is amazing. We visited Marvins Gardens a few days later and once we get a price on the work will have them back to do some portion of the design.

Description of Work: Last month we purchased two plants from Marvin's Organic Gardens' nursery: an itex and a clethra. We brought them home and planted them. Neither budded. Yesterday we returned to Marvin's with our receipt to explain that both plants failed to bud. Marvin's showed integrity by responding that none of the other itex or clethra that remained in the nursery had budded, either. They agreed to allow us to exchange the two plants for healthy specimens and credited us the difference in price between the two purchases. Marvin's integrity and candor impressed us.
