A few masonite boards were deteriorating. The owner, Scott Thompson, came by and put some paint on them, and had the audacity to charge me $150 for a home call for 5 minute job.

Scott Thompson is the person I was in contact with. He walked around my whole house because I was having issues with some areas of my siding and pointed out the worst areas that I needed the concentrate on first instead of selling me all new siding.. He was very conscientious of doing what needed to be done within my budget. I wish I had hired them originally.!

Scott and his crew did an amazing job replacing some of the old cedar siding on our house with new LP smart siding. It looks great, the quality of the work is amazing and we will be going back to them next year to get more of the house converted to this new siding. They also replaced soffit and facia that had been damaged by squirrels Thanks Scott and all!

My second time contracting with Rugged Roof. This time I had additional trim repairs, all of the fascia behind the gutters replaced, new gutters and shutters installed, and the entire house painted. The work was excellent, timely, quick and very professionally done. They take pride in their work and will do what it takes to do a good job and please the homeowner. The house looks like a new house again. The repairs were fantastic and very well done and things should be in good order for several years again. The painting job was excellent. Was very happy to be able to work with a single contractor for the entire work needed.

They came on time. Did the work for agreed price. They cleaned up after themselves.

Scott and his crew did a great job. He responded quickly to my initial request for an estimate to repair some sections of rotted cedar siding. He looked at the area I knew needed to be fixed and picked out some places that he thought also needed attention. He inspected them closer and some were ok and some needed to be replaced. His estimate was very detailed and clearly explained what they were replacing. They pre-painted the cedar with the existing colors of our house, showed up on time as promised, finished the job in a couple of days and the work looks great. The crew was tidy, polite, and friendly. A little side issue popped up during the job (my fault) and they fixed that too as well. I would definitely recommend these guys for siding work and will be the first place I go in the future if we need more work.

Very happy with Rugged Roof on our siding replacement. We have cedar, so I thought we would be paying top dollar for wood materials until Scott described the synthetic wood alternative. It looks fantastic, you cannot tell the difference, and it saved us thousands. Customer service was great, Scott and his on site foreman Alex kept us informed all the way. Workmanship is great. We also had them replace the siding on 2 bay windows that had deteriorated. Highly recommend them.

Scott and his crew replaced our siding, gutters, and roof AND he repainted our front door like we had been wanting to do so it would all match! Superb craftsmanship and attention to detail, these guys are worth the wait and the investment. COVID put a huge wrench in our plans financially and we were forced to wait longer to get our project done. Scott hung with us for over a year and kept us up to date on product availability/shortages and prices. When we were finally able to give the green light, we had to change our plan a little bit due to our original siding option not even being manufactured because of COVID. Scott recommended an excellent alternative so we could maintain the color scheme we were going for as well as the quality and longevity of the product. We couldnâ t be happier with how it turned out. We are in love with our home again. Thank you Rugged Roof crew!

Everything from the owner to the crews that worked here were exceptional and professional. I had them install 2 roofs and replace siding on my barn. Scott was in constant contact from the scheduling through the whole process.

I recommend- they are a little pricey for the job I requested but honest about costs and got the job done expertly.

Our home's 40 year old cedar siding was badly weathered on three sides. We wanted to repair or replace the siding. After talking with 5 or 6 contractors, none of which were entirely willing to meet our requirements .. I happened upon RuggedRoof and owner Scott. We decided the best approach was to replace three sides of cedar with a textured LP SmartSiding in color nearly identical to our current color. As part of the negotiations I wanted a detailed technical part of the contract listing the work to be done. This nearly caused us to part company in that RuggedRoof was more of an casual approach in terms of contracts (the final contract did all meet the basic legal requirements). After a short time, we relented and went with Scotts contractual approach. Interesting enough, once the contracts were agreed to, we did a walk around of the house and Scott actually verbally detailed all of the work that I initially wanted in the contract. Go figure! Anyway .. Scott was very professional and detailed, A few extra structural repairs were agreed to on the spot. His team is younger, yet experienced group of good hard workers. They all ensured that I was involved and satisfied. Scott touched base with his crew and me about every second day of this approx. 2 week project. Scott's equipment and vehicles are very professional looking. No rusted out trucks with bent ladders, etc. So .. bottom line: Scott and his RuggedRoof crew are highly recommended so long as you are comfortable with a somewhat casual approach to your project. It worked out very fine for us.
