Even though the wallpaper was old, there was not a loose place at the seams. It took quite an effort to remove. After getting the paper down painted the room and it looks fantastic! He accomplished the work in less than 8 hours. Highly recommend John and plan to use him for another project. Communication was awesome also.

Day before, did some minor prep work on ceiling--with their own materials / no additional cost. Day of, arrived a little later than arranged, but got right to work. Excellent paint job--done in half a day (small Cape Cod home) / looks beautiful. I bought the paint / frog tape at painter's discount--cost of the actual labor = $200. They took care to make sure to apply as many coats as needed for a smooth look. Very courteous. Very pleased.

It was the worst - a heartbreaking experience for me.... John showed up mid-morning & left mid-afternoon for three days, and then informed me on the fourth day that he wouldn't be able to finish the job, as he had other jobs & a vacation scheduled, and my house was taking longer than he had planned. I did learn some valuable lessons by dealing with this company. 1) there is a big difference between a "quote" & an "estimate" and 2) do not to pay anything before the job is done. I ended up paying more than the estimate on a job that was only about 1/4 completed. Do yourself a favor & steer clear of Pro-Painting Solutions. John talks a good job, but does not come through. Based on his other reviews, I was certain that John would have a lengthy response about how I didn't understand the complexities of this job, was uncooperative, demanding, etc. And I was right, but I didn't expect outright lies. 1) When John saw the house the first time it was only partially covered in vines - maybe 1/6. (He saw what all of the other painters who quoted the job saw.) 2) John did not refer me to another company to complete the job. In fact it was a company that I found on my own through Angie's List. 3) He did not have all of the trim completed & not even 1/4 of the main color rolled on. (I also have photos - photos of what my house looked like when he walked away.) The front side, which is mostly windows & roof, had a coat, but nothing cut-in or completed. The garage side, which is mostly garage doors, was partially painted. But the other two sides, which have by far the most surface area, had no paint except the first coat of trim color. 4) I never said I expected him to complete the job for the amount of the estimate & in fact I did pay more than the estimate for what little work was done . 5) I did not decline his offer to work the weekend or the 50% discount. After showing up at 11:00 on the 4th day, he immediately left supposedly to round up some additional help & never returned. So I just knew better than to take him at his word, and when I said as much, he quoted "his attorney". 6) I never even saw the paint in question. I just know that it was on the receipt that I paid, as was a gallon of SealKrete that was not used on this job. The SealKrete was left with me, the black paint was not.

John was very nice, always on time and easy to reach. Very Professional. The painting job itself was pretty good, I few edges/trim look a little rushed/uneven. But overall quality was great! I actually plan to have him back eventually to finish the other rooms!

John was great in communicating with me regarding setting up a date for the painting. He responded quickly to phone calls and e-mails. John and Mike came at the appointed date and time and started to work quickly. They worked steadily and applied 2 coats. They were polite and professional. They left all of the rooms clean. When I requested something be done, John did it right away. It was evident that John wanted me to be happy with the results, and I was. I would certainly use them again.

He was professional, informative, and a nice person but the scope of the work to be performed was much larger than this deal covered.

He arrived on time and worked quickly, yet carefully, to get the job done in the time I needed. He made sure to cover the floors well and not get paint anywhere it wasn't supposed to be. I would definitely use this company again.

Awesome. We were in a bind and had to have whole-house interior painting completed within the week. We turned to our go-to trusted source - Angie's List - for reputable painters. With just a days advance notice, John agreed to meet with us and size up the job. He showed up on time for a walk through and promptly provided an estimate that we couldn't turn down... Truth be told, we were elated to find a painter able to work with us on such short notice; the quoted price was both a bonus and a relief. Two biz days later, the job began! He arrived on time the first and every day and worked late into the evenings, cleaning up after himself at the close of each day. And if all that weren't bonus enough, he completed the work earlier than planned, giving us sorely needed schedule relief! Professional, courteous, methodical and skilled... He knows what he's doing and does an awesome job. Definitely recommended; we'll keep John and Pro-Painting-Solutions in mind for more work in the near future.

It was ok. I asked him to do the ceiling and I'd pay him extra. He said that was ok and he would charge $50 but he wouldn't take a check and that I'll need to go get cash. That kind of bothered me a little bit. Scheduling was easy. I'm not sure I'd recommend him because he made a fuss about driving here from Miamisburg, plus the fuss with the check, I'm not sure it'd be worth it.

It was okay. We were trying to get him back but his wife had a baby. We had some work scheduled and could not do it until December. Three were no extra costs. He paid attention to detail and worked hard. The lines meet the ceiling and he did the wood trims. He did a good job.

John arrived exactly on time. I provided the paint which was an older unused five gallon container of paint which was the same color and sheen that was currently on the walls. He took the time to take it to the paint store and have it shaken since it had greatly settled over time. Since the house was empty of furniture, and the paint was the same color, the job went very smoothly. When finished, I asked John for his professional opinion of a problem I had on the basement walls. It was not his exact line of expertise, but he checked with his paint supplier to see what products would help me take care of the problem. Needless to say I was very impressed with him taking time to help me. I definitely plan to consider using John's help again. This spring I am planning to have John give me an estimate to paint the back of my house, and then my son is interested in some painting help also.

Pro-Painting-Solutions painted two rooms for us - a bedroom with 2 colors, plus ceiling and trim and a bathroom (1 color), plus ceiling, trim and a cabinet. The cost was $670 + paint, primer, tape and small disposable rollers (approx. $175, with extra paint leftover). John was punctual, thorough, pleasant and honest. He made a point of telling me that if we saw any problems with the work later, he would come back for free to fix it. After everything dried, we noted a couple of places that needed touch up and John came back within a day of our call to do the fixes. Definitely worth getting an estimate from them for your next interior paint job.

I purchased the deal from Angie's list. The owner John called me the next day to schedule. He arrived on time with the necessary supplies as agreed. He protected my floors, walls and surrounding trim as necessary. Very professional job. Cleaned up when finished. The service was performed within 72 hours of the purchase on a day of my choice. Doors look fantastic.

I was out of the service area and he couldn't come out this far. He responded very quickly and was professional.

It was fine. I had them paint the kitchen and family room ceiling. He came down to see the job, but we had to reschedule because what I’d wanted didn’t get communicated. They did do a good job.

He called and scheduled for last Monday. Then on Monday, he called and cancelled. He said he would call me back to reschedule. I never received a call back from him. I was finally able to get a hold of him then he just hung up on me. I just don't want to work with this company anymore based on my experience.

Excellent service. Showed up on time, got right to work. Did not leave any mess or paint to clean up. Worked continuously. Very nice, friendly, hardworking.

He came in & used less than a half gallon of paint & said he couldn't finish the work because there wasn't enough. Myself & my sister came in & finished the job for my mother. My mother called him to ask for a partial refund & he said, "you can kiss my *** if you think I am giving you any money back. Your daughter can kiss my *** too." He also called her an (F word) ***** and *****. She then said she was going to leave a negative review on Angie's List & he said, "That's fine because I know where you live."

It went really well. They did our office and our children’s bedrooms. They sent two techs and it took them a full day to do. We paid extra to have two colors in 2 different rooms.

They painted three bedrooms and a hall. They did an overall good job.

Had to be rescheduled several times due to weather (rain). Could not be completed in a couple of days and was worked in as schedule permitted. No fault of John, basically weather was the prevailing factor. Contracted for 40 hours of painting. Job was mostly completed after forty hours but still had to finish up some areas since my forty hours was used up. John and his father were very professional. Thoroughly cleaned up when finished for day. I would and probably will hire them again.

Went good. They were professional and friendly.

OK overall. However, I was surprised that he asked us to buy the tape (that my husband did by) and they did not leave the tape that was extra after the job was done. He did not cover our furniture and did not clean up after the job. We had to dust everything and vacuum the rooms!

I wasn’t crazy about it.
