Wright Heating & Cooling

My folks furnace stopped working, and I needed to find a company while located on the West Coast. My dad called a guy he knows who runs an HVAC business and he diagnosed the problem as the induction motor. Quoted me a very high price for replacement of the motor. I called Wright, and they quoted a price which was about 30% lower. The technician was on-time, and the final price was lower than quoted, because it took the tech less time to complete. I feel very comfortable with Wright, and will very likely use them for future repairs, on my parent's HVAC system

It went very smooth, was here on time and did a great job. This was the second time I used Wright Heating, I had a AC unit put in 32 years ago from them and now.

it went off like clockwork. It was an all day installing and they were on time and did the job right the 1st time.

All initial discussions and the initial diagnosis seemed very professional. However, after diagnosing, my ex wife called back 3 times to try and schedule the repair visit, and never got a call back. They also left the system completely disassembled, so that when we had those 85 deg days, the AC wouldn't work either. As I'm typing this, I'm watching a tech from another company repair it. 2 weeks later of course

The basement was cold both in winter and summer due to marginal ductwork. We decided that we needed an auxiliary heater. We talked with Wright Heating (Fred Slippy) and decided on a through-the-wall gas heater. It took almost a year and a half to complete the job, but that was largely due to MY problems. Once we decided on a specific model, it was installed expeditiously by Dave. The work went well and the heater was installed in about a day and a half. Dave cleaned up well afterwards. The heater is in, working and performing well.

He went out of his way to be helpful and I have used him as a reference to find other people to do things around my house. This is either the second or third furnace they have put in for us. He has offered to help me with things and gives me ideas. I would check with him before I would do any major renovation. I use him constantly.

I'd use them again to service our new units but I have a service agreement with the company that installed them. They were excellent; I'd give them a 10 out of 10. We should have called them to put our new units in; they probably would have been cheaper. We were in a hurry because our furnace broke and we didn't have enough time to get a bunch of estimates. Their prices are really reasonable and they're really good. I would give them an A+.

We first had coal furnace which was then replaced to oil. When we got the gas lines on the street we had Wright install gas furnace for us. We had the whole house air conditioning redone. I have been pleased with them. They have done good work and provide good service. If there is a a problem, I call these guys, and they come and take care of it. I would rate them high overall.

The installer did a neat, clean job, and explained everything to me about what he was doing, why, and some tips in taking care of the new air conditioner to make it last longer and save money. He also pointed out some things a different company that had installed the furnace before I bought the house had done wrong (and against building code), that would lead to problems and possible safety issues down the road. When the A/C wouldn't start up after everything was installed, he stayed until it did despite the job running much longer than expected. The only things I wasn't happy with were the installer constantly complaining how hard the job would be due to the construction of the house, the fact that he smoked constantly outside, bringing the smell into the house with him, and the job ran so long it got to dark outside for him to patch the hole in the foundation they made for the tubing and electrical. They left me the materials to patch it, but I don't think this is my job.

THE WORK WAS DONE EXACTLY AS I WANTED IT DONE. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL.

BE VERY CAREFUL; TO UNDERSTAND THEIR RESPONSIBILITY. WE HAD TO CALL ON ANOTHER COMPANY TO FIX SOME OF THEIR MESS UPS OR THINGS THEY DIDNT COVER.

THEIR QUOTE WAS EXACT, THEIR PEOPLE CLEAN AND COURTEOUS AND PROMPT. WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.
