They were prompt and came with a full team of helpers and both electricians were 25+ years experience. Boss expected everything to be done top notch. Everyone was professional and polite. all work was done with quality and an extra step to protect home owner. I would gladly use them again. I was very impressed with the entire team, workmanship, speed in completion and finally a clean up that you couldn't even tell they dug.

Called to let me know an earlier appt was available. They sent a terrific person who was quick and cleaned up after and answered all my questions. We received a thank you card from the owner two days later. Very impressed with their service!

I have to compliment Adam again for his professionalism. This is the 2nd time we've had Otte at our house to do small electrical jobs and what I like is that without prompting, they wanted to make sure they got the same tech that was here previously so he builds a history with this property and us. Adam arrived within the window promised, was cautious to cover shoes each time he came in, and took time to answer all my questions on ballpark estimates for future jobs I want done. We had one unexpected issue when we realized a dimmer switch we purchased for a room with a ceiling fan would not be appropriate for that switch, due to the fan & light being on the same switch. We took that off the initial estimate he wrote up, then later my wife suggested getting him to put the unused dimmer switch in a 3rd room we had not planned on doing that day. He agreed and didn't increase the price from the original estimate. Also we had a chandelier my wife purchased online which was not ready to be ceiling-mounted out of the box, but we tried to have all the parts he would need so he could convert it. He said no problem, and what we had in the end was the best we could have hoped for. It looked like it was made to be ceiling mounted from the beginning, and was even at the perfect length so no one (at least in our family) will hit their head walking below. Will definitely be calling them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It worked out fine but the deal for $99 become much more because we needed extensive work done. They did a good job but I'm not sure their price was good. We didn't check their price with anybody else. He knew his stuff but I think his price might have been a little high. They came right away. We would check around the next time for pricing.

It was all great! First off, all of the guys at Ott are terrific and very nice to work with. They carefully thought out their plan of attack for running wires and installing fixtures in a 36 year old home and were able to complete the tasks without having to patch any ceilings. Amazing! I will always use Ott for my electrical needs.

Our problem was that our house had settled in such a way that our electrical line was getting stretched and was starting to short out. In another year or so, the line would have stretched so tightly, that it could have caused serious safety issues. Nobody else thought to check for this, but we contacted Ott and they figured out the problem quickly.They fixed our safety issues with our home's electrical. A happy side effect is that our electrical line isn't shorting out and our streetlight works again. Nobody else took enough care to look for the problem. But Ott did. And then they fixed it quickly. No more problems. We have some more electrical work, and Ott wil be doing that work also! Hire these guys, they know what they are doing.

I was repairing the plaster in our century home prior to repainting, and uncovered some very old wires that some prior owner had just cut off and covered over with wallpaper. They turned out to be live! I called Ott and explained the situation, and they had an electrician there within the hour. He removed the old wires and checked to make sure that everything was safe. We just had Ott put an outlet in the mud room, which had none. The same electrician, Adam, came back and did that as well. Both times he was fast, competent, and very neat.

All the Ott Electrical personnel I spoke with/or met were professional, knowledgeable and friendly, beginning with Marcy who took my initial call. Adam arrived promptly at the scheduled time and walked with me through all the work we wanted performed. He made suggestions and thought the job through, went out to the truck to write up the proposal and within 2 hours of his arrival presented me with the paperwork and said the work would take 1-2 days. I called the company 2 days later to let Marcy know we wanted them to do the work and it was scheduled for the next week. Adam arrived the first day with 2 others and they quickly got to work and by about noon of the 2nd day (Adam and 3 others worked that day) had completed all the work. In every area where they worked, they took care to cover all exposed furniture, cabinets, clothing, etc. with plastic. When they completed the work in each area, the plastic was removed and the area cleaned/vacuumed. At the conclusion of the job, they walked through all the areas to ensure that they had cleaned satisfactorily. Also, Adam walked through all the areas with us to be sure the work had been performed to our satisfaction. It was obvious that the entire crew takes pride in their workmanship/craft; they are a credit to Ott Electrical.

Extremely professional on the phone when I called. I was concerned we would need most of the house rewired. Service man was exactly on time, very professional and honest. Explained exactly what would need to be done and why other work was not necessary. Gave quote up front and was exactly that when finished (I even think it was more involved then he thought it would be). Will always use Ott Electric thanks to this first time experience. Brian showed up exactly on time and listened to my issues: my dishwasher was installed but never set up electrically, and I had a light switch that was making light bulbs explode. He took care of the dishwasher situation very quickly, and thoroughly investigated my light switch issue. There was more involved than just the switch, and Brian explained it all to me very clearly. He was able to resolve the issue in very little time, and I couldn't be happier.

My experience with Ott Electrical Services was A++++ in every category. It began with my first phone call with Marcy through the completion of the job by Adam. My wife and I are retired so we watch every penny. Well, we got more than our money's worth and are very satisfied with Ott Electrical. In fact, I can't imagine anyone doing a better job than these folks. After the job was done, they didn't just hop into their van and leave. Adam showed me everything that was done and what to do if I needed to run my generator. He answered every question and concern that I had. I could tell as the job progressed that I was doing business with a first rate company. I would recommend Ott Electrical Services to anyone who wants first class work at a reasonable cost

Great! They were very responsive and came out to look at the job within just a few days of me contacting them. The rep gave us an acceptable quote on the spot. When we said "yes" they were able to complete the work that day. We had some confusion about installing a dimmer switch, and when I told them about it they came out the next day and fixed it without charging any additional dollars for labor! Very professional, punctual, and did very high quality work. We are very happy with Ott and will definitely use them again in the future.

They were great! I called on a Monday, they came out the next day on Tuesday. They were fast, friendly, and efficient.

I contacted Ott's by e-mail at 10:30 the night before - and got a phone call at 8:00 the very next morning. I spoke with Marcy, who was very courteous and professional. I told her my attic fan was not working and I thought it might be a bad motor. She told me they could send someone out that afternoon. The technician arrived by 2:30 and he fixed the problem: The power switch had been SHUT OFF! Boy, talk about embarrassing! They charged me only $29 for a service call, which I gladly paid because it could have been hundreds to replace the fan. I really appreciated their honesty and will definitely call them back on future projects.

Contacted a HVAC company first. They did some inspection but wanted to have the electrical circuit and breaker inspected before proceeding any further. Called Ott Electrical and explained the situation. Lady on the phone said someone could come to assess the situation tomorrow but when I mentioned it was related to the air conditioning she said she would see if anyone could come out today. She called right back and with 1 & 1/2 hours two technicians (Adam & Trent) arrived. They did a thorough inspection of the breaker, electric panel and determined that power was reaching the A/C unit outside and the breaker was fine. Need to follow-up with the HVAC company.
