An outside electric outlet shorted and evidently caused a small fire which thankfully extinguished. Naturally I was concerned a fire hazard still existed. I called Ott and an appointment was scheduled. Jason, the electrician, arrived when expected, explained what had happened, and was very professional. We decided to cap off the outlet as well as another one because they had not been installed properly when the house was built and were rarely used. I would use Ott again.

The lights in my garage were flickering, two garage outlets were not working, Outdoor plug not working and damaged and I couldn't identify which electrical circuits the various outlets and fixtures were on. The electrician arrived, listened carefully to all my issues, quickly and quietly went to work. Reported back with detail on the issues, problems, suggested solutions and how the outlets and fixtures were connected. He did the work quickly and quietly, provided the invoice which had all details and I paid. I was extremely satisfied and pleased with all aspects of the service.

Very well. As soon as I explained my situation to person answering phone she pulled someone off a job and within 45min. he was at my house working to restore power to garage and outside house light. I was so glad for the quick service because I couldn't raise my garage door to get my car out. He traced the right wires out, finding wires that had loose connections, fixed them and added some short jumpers to some to make them more sturdy and improve connections. He did this quickly and within the hour had everything fixed and working. He even cleaned up any debris he created. I am so satisfied with work quality and quick response.

The gal in their office who made the apt. was easy to work with. An apt. was able to be made at our convenience. Boy was this group prompt! They said 8:30-9 am and were at our front door at 8:30. Work was done to our standards in a relatively short period of time.

I was afraid I had a big problem considering washing machine wasn't working, water in basement, one kitchen outlet wasn't working. Service man was prompt, very nice, diagnosed problem quickly and had it fixed in no time! I will definitely use this company again!

They did clean work. They were good value. They were super professional and prepared. It was really impressive. Very prompt and very responsive.

I left a message on Saturday, 5/30/2015 and received a return call first thing Monday morning on 6/1/2015. I explained again what work needed to be done and they scheduled an electrician to come on Tuesday morning. Brian was right on time, very courteous, polite, and professional. He gave me an estimate of the cost, and when I agreed, stayed and did the work. He finished sooner than I expected and did a great job. He made sure any gaps were sealed with caulk and put in extra bolts to ensure the box doesn't come loose again. I was very happy with my experience with this company and would definitely recommend them and use them again myself.

The workers that came were very professional and did a great job! They made recommendations to us that were helpful when we weren't sure on things. Some days trying to contact office, I left messages and the calls were not returned as quickly as I had liked, but they did return the calls. I am not familiar with the city permits, and the permit they did with the city did not really list out the details or costs, which some of the permits I have seen on file do list, but the permit is there on file so I guess it is ok. Our final inspection passed.

It was about $400. He was great. Good, nice and clean.

They were okay. They came out and they got it done and that was it really. After the guy left I discovered in that taking down one bathroom light our old one, he had inadvertently I'm sure, he had scratched our mirror. We are planning on redoing the bathroom at some point, not immediately and it doesn't keep us from using it but I would have preferred that had not happened. As far as the lamp work, it went fine and we haven't had any problems with it, so that part was okay. If I had called, I'm sure they would have come out and replaced it. As I said, we are in the process of thinking about doing a remodel so there wasn't a point in getting something new right then. I probably would use them again but I would point out that they should be aware of the things around them and that I was aware of the condition they are in and that I wanted it to not be in worse condition when they are done.

Proposed price was the final cost. Crew was very professional and efficent. Would recommend them highly.

This company is wonderful. They are incredibly responsive when you call, very accommodating (schedule-wise), and the work is done professionally. What more can you ask for?

It didn't. My fault.

Brian was the first employee at my house. I expressed my concern about the amount of dust there would be when he cut the ceiling to put in the news exhaust fan. My son has asthma and I was worried the amount of dust from the job would affect him. Brian assured me he would clean up the bathrooms and i would not even know he was there. And he was right! The bathrooms were so clean and the fans are excellent. The fans are high quality and so quiet. Everyone was so considerate while working at my home. Always wearing booties on their shoes, which i appreciate. Joe, the owner was on the job making sure everything was done properly. He was quick to return our phone calls. We needed the job done before our new roof was installed and he made it happen. This is a company that truly cares about their customers!!!

He came and took care of the job in a jiffy and didn't charge me a penny more than the amount of the promotion.

Adam arrived on time. I reviewed requirements with him and within minutes he provided a proposal and cost estimate. He then went to work keeping me informed of progress and any associated obstacles. The job was completed in a timely fashion and everything worked as required. I've previously used Ott Electrical and would definitely use them again. And yes I would recommend them to anyone. Adam was professional, experienced, and informative.

Troubleshoot a non-working yard light located at the peak of a second story.

The electrician came out because we were having a problem with a braker that wouldn't reset. He found additional issues with how much was being run on that circuit and the improper wiring to the exterior outlets. It ended up being a much bigger job than either of us anticipated. He had the dispatcher rework his schedule so he could stay and fix our problems. The work was completed well and properly. I did have a problem with where the relocated one exterior plug and a quick call to the office and the owner scheduled another appointment to fix it. They are great to deal with and we have already estimated another project we need to have done. Nice people, good work.

All the work was done in a timely, professional manner. Everything was put back in place & cleaned up. Brian & Nate did an excellent job. They called a half hour before arriving & were on time. It definitely was customer service!

Two young men arrived on time. They were very professional. I explained what I wanted done and they gave me an estimate and stuck to it. They noticed that the light switch next to the broken one was not working very well so they replaced that one also and didn't charge me anything extra. My sister and two people I work with have also used this company and we have all been very pleased. I would definitely recommend this company.
