They were very good, they did what they said they were going to, they were on time and polite.

They quoted me $2100 for that work. He was very nice and professional. He called for a follow up and I told him that I was going with another company. His price was a little high. He was on time.

Installer arrived right on time was curteous and professional. I could't be happier with the installation. This is a first rate company in my opinion.

I would highly suggest to any consumer willing to go with their work to automatically negociate the price for the work. They seem to be generally higher than most other electricians but if you negociate from the get go it will seem that it was worth the price. First I only had them come to install the whole house surge protector. They apparently have a policy that they are not to work on Federal Pacific panels because of a known fire hazard. They gave me a quote which I had negociated the price for, and they came the next day to get worked on (since the job was going to be more than a 1 person job). The contractor, Adam, was upfront with me telling me they normally give a quote (keep in mind) and push to have everything worked on that day. Next day they came and did the services listed above. The City contractor gave it a clean seal of approval and was very impressed with the work OTT did with the eletrical system. OTT quoted me 6 hours of total time needed to get installed, but got it done in 4 hours. So far no issues. 10 year, transferrable warranty as well. As with any contractor work, MAKE SURE YOU NEGOCIATE THE PRICE. Especially in this economy, they were willing to work with me on cost.

Great company. I will give information for my sister, her home and business. They will give you a price, not by the hour, but for the job. I liked this. I would have them again, and tell family and friends about them. Judy the secretary was most kind, as well.

On time, put protectors on shoes to prevent tracking dirt into house. Very professional and courteous. Plan to have Rusty back again for more electrical work in near future. Very satisfied with work performed.

Tech arrived early and was very professional. Had estimate prepared in 1hr. Once I approved the work, 2 more techs came to help. Job was done by 5:00. They were courteous, and very knowledgeable. The price was about as low as one could expect without doing it myself.

They were very courteous and professional on the phone and extremely flexible in scheduling my service call. The electrician who did the work arrived right on time and was friendly and courteous. He was very neat and very thorough in his work. The broken doorbell was more tricky than expected- but he kept at it until it wasn't good enough - but perfect! Final bill was exactly the same as the quote given before the work started. They will be my go-to electricians all the time now!

These guys did such a great job. We found this company on Angie's List and called them to come out. They showed in half an hour. They were great with our children and our pets.

Everything was fine. They were very friendly and he came in and did what he said he would do. I probably won't use them again though, they were really too expensive. It was good service. They wanted to change a couple of ground receptacles and each one was $26 each and I just thought that was too much. My impression was they were more of commercial rather than residential contractors. They were very friendly, professional and did what they said they would do, but a little too expensive for home stuff.

I called several places and they were the only ones that said they would come out and give me an estimate but they would have to charge $19 to do that. After calling around I decided to have them do that because if you have them do the work, that is included in the price. There were two of them that came out and they were very nice and polite. They were not always accurate with their explanations because I know something about electricity. I showed them what had to be done and what had to be replaced and they said that was fine and to give them fifteen minutes. They would sit in the van and give me an estimate. Their estimate was $648.34 to replace the box. I went online and I know that you have to get a permit, which is $40, and buy the box, which is another $40. They were basically making $560 for labor. They estimated it would take 1 1/2 hours to do the work. The person I ended up having do the work estimated it would take 45 minutes to an hour to do the work and it took an hour. I had asked Ott if they were going to break the estimate down between materials and labor because I wanted to confront them. They said no and that they just do a flat rate. I told them I would call them back later and let them leave. I thought that it was very, very bad that they were trying to take advantage of people. They think that most people don't know electric and most people don't. I looked online and electricians make about $50 an hour. Even it is was $75 an hour; the cost should have been $75 plus materials. That would have been about $150 between materials and labor. I think that is outrageous and immoral. I cannot think of enough adjectives to explain my dissatisfaction. The company I used charged $122.90. Even if they had done the work and performed it satisfactorily it was way out of the price change. I would never recommend that anybody use Ott. They were responsive, quick and polite because they market themselves at a terribly exaggerated price. They want to get your work quickly before you compare. I asked several questions and they gave me false answers several times, which was not real professional.

Joe stopped by on the day scheduled. He gave me a complete explanation of what was needed and why. The work was performed the next day which took all day to complete. After the job was done, Joe explained what was done and that an inspector would be by the next day to approve the work. The next day the inspector came and approved the job except for an additional ground wire. Ott Electric was out the next day to compete the work the inspector requested. Overall this is a very efficient,detailed and honest company. I would recommend them without concern.

Their cost was reasonable. They were responsive and timely.

Workers showed up on time, gave fixed rate estimate, performed work. They were courteous and careful about causing a minimum of disruption to family activities and keeping the work area clean.

Electricians were here on time and preformed the contracted work. They were courteous and explained what they did and had me inspect each item serviced. They cleaned up after themselves and completed the job on the day indicated. Overall very good service.

He was a number one contractor in my book.
