Description of Work: Ohio Home Improvement, was not the least expensive. But their quality of work was outstanding, they were very prompt everyday until the work was finished. What they said they would do they did and they did a very good. I would use them again and I would refer them anyone.

Description of Work: E-mailed me right away, but I misunderstood that I was supposed to call them and waited for them to call me. When I finally realized and did call them I was on deadline and they would be unable to get to me in time to let others that I had gotten estimates know of my decision in a timely fashion. I was a little put off by their assertion that they would be the most expensive estimate, that they usually got their new customers through previous customers and that they were already booked through July. I got the distinct impression they did not want me for a customer. I can't help but suspect their great reviews were from loyalty that comes from difficulty entering exclusive group. | |Not their fault, but for whatever reason I was having difficulty even with Angie's list getting three contractors to give me an estimate on a modest kitchen remodel initiated by a water leak and too many HGTV show dreams. I suspect it's because I don't live in a hand-scraped hardwood floor and granite countertop neighborhood. |

Description of Work: I called this company out in the summer of 2010 about various work that needed to be done to the exterior of my house. He was mostly interested in replacing my roof. When I told him other work I wanted done and that I wanted it all itemized on the contract, he said it wasn't necessary; that he is friends with all his clients and has beers with them. This is very unprofessional and I would not hire him. I got my roof replaced for $3,000 less than his estimate.

+ -1 moreOhio Home Improvement did a fantastic job. They were punctual, communicative, and everything looked exactly like they said it would. They cleaned up everything every night, and the finished product was immaculate. Also they had a lot of experience with the setup that I designed so they were able to offer some great suggestions as challenges came up. They were great at staining and there isn't a single blemish on the drywall. They even ran extra power lines to the other side of the basement just in case. I was promised a perfect product and that's what I got. Their workers were nice and I felt like I could really trust them inside my house when I wasn't there. Their prices were not the cheapest but they also weren't the most expensive. I would definitely use them again in the future.
Description of Work: They basically remodeled our 1,600 square feet basement.

+ 5 moreMy husband and I recently called upon Ohio Home Improvement to remodel our out-dated 1970's kitchen. Michael Eid and his professional crew worked with us to design a breath taking new, modern, up-to-date kitchen. Ohio Home Improvement installed new cherry cabinets, granite countertops, a porcelain floor, ceramic back splash and crown molding. We were able to communicate our needs and wants to Mike and with some of his suggestion created our dream kitchen. Once the crew began working on our kitchen, they were on the job daily, until the work was completed. Mike also helped us pick out new stainless steel appliances with considerable savings. We thank Ohio Home Improvements everyday for our beautiful kitchen. We hope to call them again soon when we remodel our bathroom. We are confident that we'll receive the same wonderful results.
