Overall, very smoothly. Roger did most all of the construction and was outstanding. He was punctual and handled all City of Avon building code requirements, which included meeting with inspectors. With Roger's experience, he was able to formulate a plan for our basement that turned out really well. I learned very quickly that I could rely on Roger to take care of all the details, and he did. I'm very satisfied with my experience with The Basement Guys. Thank you!

The estimate was very reasonable and included waterproofing the problem walls; putting in a new sump pump with a battery backup, an outside ice guard; new drain from the house to the street on the outside connecting the sump pump and two rain gutter downspouts; sealing any cracks inside and out on the exposed block walls; and a mold treatment to the affected walls. The work was scheduled quickly and completed in three days. Everyone was very professional and made sure that the movement of dirt and dust through the rest of my house was kept to a minimum. They also cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis. A supervisor stopped on site to review the work and answered any of my questions. I have now used two different waterproofing companies for two different houses, at one I used Ohio State Waterproofing and more recently The Basement Guys. Both did good work and solved my water issues, but Ohio State Waterproofing is extremely high pressure and plays a game in the pricing and is much more expensive even after they drop their price as part of their game plan. If you need basement waterproofing make sure The Basement Guys is one of the companies you contact.

I was extremely pleased with the product and especially Mike & John the installers. They did a great job at installing the product.

Justin was on time (8-9a.m.) everyday and very nice. Gave a great over view of what was done. Work was done quickly and communicated well.

Justin and John came on time all 3 days. Explained what to expect. We care for an 88 year old, and they were very respectful of noise. Justin kept me aware of the process, and took time to answer my questions. They worked really hard and were very professional.

Company made a follow up call to explain that they did not come to the appointment because they could not reach me the day before to confirm the meeting. I checked my messages and found that they did not leave a message. However, a new appointment time was arranged, their representative arrived on time and the review of conditions, estimate and presentation of their solution were all handled very professionally.

they job took a bit longer than expected, but they worked all weekend to complete. The crew was courteous and site was relatively clean. Lots of dust with this project.

The manager Shawn was very responsive to all my questions and concerns , he came back to fix minor issues without hesitating. I am very happy with the results. We have had quite a bit of rain since the job was finished and there is no water in my basement. Everything works as suppose to.

It was quite the dirty job and they placed plastic down in kitchen to keep the mess to minimum They could have done a better job of cleaning up the area of the yard used to mix the cement. I'm probably being too picky but keep that in mind if you do use them. I would certainly hire them again. The guys worked very hard and it was hard work. They responded very quickly to resolve an issue with the sump pump shortly after the work was complete. .

Dan and his crew arrived about 8.30 and after going over the job with us, they got straight to work. When a drain pipe in the floor got broke they did not hesitate to fix it. Great job.

Both waterproofing and finishing teams were on time, professional and did a beautiful job. Can't wait to enjoy our new space! Would recommend them to friends.
