called on 8-15-11. Owner came out on 8-16 and we discussed the project and acepted the proposal. At that point he knew to call before they started and a general location we wanted, and informed it would "be next week or maybe friday if the weather was good." Thursday, we came home for lunch and with no call, they were already there and already pouring concrete. They had moved and turned the location of the pad without checking with us. We do not like the location, and would not have allowed it to be located there. The explanation "where they thought we wanted it would not work", was wrong since they totally misunderstood the location. The owners excuse for not calling was that he had forgotten our phone number in his truck (he was in his car). I truly believe that if you do not have the ability to call when you agree to call. Do Not Start. Don't care your guys were there. Don't care your choice is a decent one. Don't care. If I ask you to call me and verify the location first then do so, and if you can't, then don't start. To be clear, the work is amazing. The location ended up working out _ok_. But the shed is now mounted in a direction we did not want. The finish is well done, and his men knew what they were doing, and the final product will work well enough, but it is not what we wanted.
