Eric and his crew did a great job! They attended to every detail. I waited this long to give my review to see if the work would hold up. It has been well over a year since the job was completed, but so far, the materials they used are holding up very well.

I was very satisfied. They were on time. They worked the whole time and they cleaned up and looked like they never been here.

He was very good at solving problems. He is very clever about finding fixes for home improvement problems when I don't want to spend a lot of money. Sometimes he is busy so sometimes it is a little difficult scheduling him but when he is here, he is very good.

It was great. The estimate was probably for $8000-$9000 worth of work. We were pleased with the estimate. We thought that it was a fair price for what he was going to do. He was on time and the interaction with him was good. He was very responsive. We would have probably gone with him but the house didn't warrant spending that much money and so we decided to go another route.

Contacted this company three times in in the past two weeks to discuss job, left a voice mail message each time, but they never returned my calls. Very unresponsive and unprofessional.

I just LOVE working with Eric's company. His team is ALWAYS professional and they work until they get the job done. Whenever I need any type of home improvement, I call Eric first. If, for whatever reason, he cannot do the work himself, I know I will get an HONEST and straightforward recommendation on next steps. Most of the time though, Eric can handle it. It's so good to know that I have someone I trust completely who can handle just about anything I need in the way of home improvement. Eric, you have a life-long customer! Aaron, thank you for your EXCELLENT work. Our baseboard is perfect and the work you did on the swingset is way above our expectations. I am so thankful I found this company. The work turned out very well. They did a fine job. The owner of the company is always there when work is being done. In general, they seem to be very particular about the work that they do. The quality of work is very good, but the price is a little high. We chose them because they were on Angie?s List and had very good ratings. I would use them again in the future; we are actually going to be continuing doing some more work with them.

My husband and I found Eric through my sister, who hired him to do some work in her former house. We are seriously lucky to have a good working relationship with this guy and his company. We hired him seven months ago to build a backporch onto our house and it turned out beautiful! (You can check out the pics under the "porches" link. The great thing about Froman Renovations is that they do just about everything--from small jobs to big projects. Eric is basically an all-in-one handyman--which is nice because we don't have to call separate workers--plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc. Instead, we have a good relationship with one company which is so nice! And speaking of nice, Eric and company are a really nice group of guys. What's more important than the fact that they are nice is that they are honest. Eric will tell you exactly what you need and what you don't need. He doesn't try to upsell you or sell you services you just don't need. If he thinks you can do the work yourself and save a few bucks, he lets you know that, too. He charges a fair price....and did I say that he's a really nice guy? We also just had Eric come back to replace our hot water tank just today (2/12/11) and we are having him come back in March to work on our electrical. And I'm positive we'll be using him many, many more times in the future. Oh- he did a good job with the insulation, BTW.

The work went extremely well and both my wife and I were quite happy with the results. THE QUOTE: We had received quotes from multiple companies. Froman Renovations was the final company we contacted for a quote. Eric Froman (owner of Froman Renovations) returned my call quickly (within a day) and even worked with my schedule to get in a consultation as quick as possible (scheduled for 7 pm since I do not get home from work until later in the evening). He was extremely friendly and professional. Out of all the companies we talked to, he was the only one that took me through step-by-step what needed to be done. He checked out the problem area in the nook were the water had been leaking from, checked out the roofing and attic ventilation from the outside, and then we went up into the attic and he showed me the problem areas and talked through a variety of options we had. He also told me that he will be at every job that is done. We received a quote from him in an e-mail after a couple days and decided to go with him due to both his price and professionalism. THE JOB: Even though Eric was getting booked up for the month due to the fact that everybody wanted insulation work completed before the end of the year (when the tax credit would be over), he worked with my schedule and got us in as quickly as possible. He scheduled the work for an early Saturday morning, which worked perfectly for us. He arrived exactly on time along with his crew. Eric worked quickly and was very friendly during the work, showing me exactly what he was doing. He first worked on the venting needed for the bathroom fan, then he went through and blew in additional insulation into the attic (which consisted of filling some empty floor areas and adding it to other areas in the attic that had older insulation). He then cut the trapdoor into our kitchen ceiling and checked to see if there was any damage that had been done due to the leakage. Luckily there was no mold or bad water damage in the nook attic. He also discovered that the nook roof did not need any additional insulation. We would just need to fix the damage done to the walls (little bit of spackle and repaint). TOTAL TIME: About 4 hours RESULT: We have already had a few bad snowstorms since he completed the work, but we have had no problems with ice dams or leaking. We have also noticed a difference in the temperature in the house. The second floor is much warmer (making my wife quite happy - she hated how cold it used to be upstairs when the temperatures outside dropped to 20 or below). The gas bill for heating the house has also gone down (making me happy). We were very happy with Eric Froman and Froman Renovations and would definitely refer him to friends. His company also focuses on complete home care (from major renovations to minor repairs and upkeep) which we will definitely take advantage of since our house was built in the 1940's and will need further work done in the future.

We were very pleased with his estimates and concerns and finished work. When we asked him about some other work we thought we needed done he said the doors were fine and did not try to get us to do work that was not necessary. I will use him again. I found him through Angie's List and would definitely recommend him.

These guys did an exceptional job! The job ran about 8 days total. They worked every day from about 7 a.m. to 6 p.m until the job was finished with only short breaks for lunches. They even worked through the rain one day. On top of that, they were professional and very friendly. They seem to really enjoy their work and it shows in the final product. They cleaned up every day and at the end of the project. We are incredibly pleased with our new beautiful backporch. We are planning on having a shed built next summer and will not hesitate to call Froman Renovations--Eric, Mike, and Aaron, and Doug for that project, too. We can't say enough about these guys!

They showed up on time and were very professional. I was particularly impressed with the state of things after they left...no mess! They were quick, made every effort to minimize the noise (we have a 1 year old who needs her naps), and the price cannot be beat (they were half the cost of every other estimate). These guys are fantastic.

I was so impressed with everything they did from start to finish. Eric never cuts corners and is always honest and up front about the best way to handle a job. His team cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, and kept me up to date with what they were doing and why. I would trust this guy and his team with any home improvement job. I have already recommended him to my family and friends with no reservations.

They scraped all of the old paint up, repainted. They also did insulation in the attic.

I hired them because they had a high rating on Angie s list. The proprietor came over and told me exactly what he thought that I needed, and what it would cost. I set up an appointment about a week later, and they sent a guy over. This person specialized in renovations for older homes, and he was terrific. He went out of his way to make sure that there wasn t any damage to the walls or ceilings, which is remarkable. They used very high quality products that have a reputation for lasting a long time. I was just very happy all the way around with the work that they did, and it came out exactly as I wanted. It seemed to me that their price was fair.

Work was done quickly a day after the initial call.

He did a wonderful job. He checked with me along the way to make sure that I was comfortable with the budget. He listened to my ideas. He was very flexible and easy to work with and I will definitely use him again.

If they prove otherwise I'd be happy to consider them again and give them a second chance.

He has a lot of skill that I needed. It was great value for me to have one person who could do so many things. The floors are what are selling this house, they look so great!

Everything went wonderfully. He gave me an estimate that arrived right on target. He arrived on time and finished the work in the time lime given. He was always professional and friendly. Everything I could have hoped for!
