Their service was very good! They arrived punctually and were very courteous. THey had to come out a second time to clean the drain, but didn't charge us. SInce then, we haven't had any trouble. I highly recommend this company!

From start to finish, we received very courteous, professional and prompt attention. Workers arrived, assessed the issue and advised us what needed to be done to remedy it. They performed all work in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend and use again.

They were very professional and explained all the possible problems to me in a comprehensive way. I was especially pleased that they came out the second time for free and helped me solve the problem for good. Also, they came out the same day I called both times, which was convenient.

They did a great job. They have also done some excavation for us in the past and we have used them several times. They were very prompt and when we called them they came right out. They did not take a long time getting the job done and we did not feel like they were dragging it on for money. Everything was very straightforward and they took care of the issue.

Allen Sewer Service employees arrived promptly and proceeded to snake out sewer drain in basement (>90 feet), and laundry tub drain (5 feet). Work was completed in about one half hour. Both servicemen were knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely hire Allen Drain service again for future work. Great service at a fair price.

Upon arrival I showed the service man where we had a problem. He inspected are area and looked at the plumbing in the basement. He used several snakes to clean out the drain, and explained to me that in an older house (ours is 125+ years old) they experience years of build up. He discussed some tips on how to maintain our drains. He also backed up his work with a 90 day warranty.

I had a great past experience with Frecka Plumbing so I called them when my sewer line got plugged. They were not able to do the job for several days so they recommended Allen Drain Service. I called and they were able to come out the same day (today). I had the sewer line snaked only about a month ago by Roto-Rooter (Akron- at a cost of about $600) and they had to come out again a couple of weeks later (which they did for free based on their guarantee). The second time Roto-Rooter came out they told me that they could not honor their guarantee any longer since they thought there was a problem with the tiles in the line. Frecka recommended that I have the line snaked again and then put a camera down the line to see how the tiles looked before going to the big expense of ripping up the lawn and replacing the tiles. I'm glad I took their advice! Allen Drain Service snaked out the line and pulled out a lot of roots that Roto-Rooter missed (twice!), then showed me the picture that the camera was taking of the inside of the tile. They showed me that there was no problem with the line and there was no reason to replace it. (Also said that they thought Roto-Rooter is a joke!) Also, they only charged $160 for the snaking job, a fraction of the cost that Roto-Rooter charged! The camera was the more expensive part of the job (expensive equipment, I was told), but well worth the expense since it saved me the huge cost of replacing the tile. They even gave me a VHS video tape of the camera picture going down the line! The two Allen Drain Service guys were efficient and friendly and professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

I called the Monday after Christmas and they were able to send someone out the very next day. We needed them to get my old toilet seat off my toilet and replace it with a new one we had bought months before. I was told the cost would be a $55 service call and I was fine with that. When Scott, the friendly service technician, arrived, he went to work and was surprised at just how stuck the old nuts and bolts were. After several trips out to his truck to grab some different tools, he levered each of those rusted, frozen nuts and bolts off while lying on the floor in a very uncomfortable position. He really had to put his muscle into it and the job took much longer than he anticipated (almost an hour), but he said that he would still only charge me $55 since that was what I had been promised. I really appreciated that!! And best of all, he successfully got that old nasty toilet seat off and put the beautiful new one on! My husband had been unable to manage it, so it was well worth the money to have someone come in and take care of it. Scott was friendly, nice to my dogs and didn't complain about being spread across my bathroom floor for the better part of an hour. He didn't charge me more even though he was there for quite a while. What more could you ask for? I was extremely happy with the service and will definitely use them again.

I have used Allen Drain before and they call to remind me its time for a cleaning. They schedule within two weeks and the workers are knowledgeable of septic systems and their care.

The job took forty-five minutes. The person who did the work was very professional and extremely courteous. I'm not sure if the charge was a bit high.

I thought the price was too high. I went somewhere else and paid $75.

We were having backup in our lowest bathroom for days. We contacted another company to perform the job, but after three days were told we were not going to be serviced. When we called Allen Drain it was an emergency. They arrived within hours of our call. It was a Friday evening before a holiday weekend. They came without complaint. The job was performed quickly. The employee was friendly and took pride in his job. We paid a premium price for the quick response, but they made a lifetime customer.

THEY WERE VERY POLITE, COURTEOUS AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES NICELY.

EXCELLENT. I CALLED AT 8:30 AND THE WORKER WAS HERE BY 11:00 THE SAME MORNING. HE UNSTOPPED THE DRAIN AND PERFORMED A FEW OTHER CHECKS TO MAKE SURE THAT HE HAD INDEED FIXED IT. HE WAS NICE TO MY DOG AND VERY PLEASANT, AND HE LEFT THE BATHROOM CLEAN.

THE GUY WAS VERY NICE. HE DID A GOOD JOB. I LIKE THE FACT THAT HE CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF VERY WELL. HE COVERED THINGS AND WAS VERY GOOD ABOUT TAKING CARE OF THE MESS.

CAME UP ON NEW YEARS EVE FOR ME, HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT OFFICE STAFF WITH EXCELLENT FOLLOW UP.

THE WORK THAT THIS COMPANY ACTUALLY PERFORMED WAS SATISFACTORY. WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND THEIR RELUCTANCE TO FIRST QUOTE, THEN CONFIRM THEIR QUOTE IN WRITING AND WHEN PRESSED TO DO SO, DECLINED TO PERFORM. WE REPORTED THEIR ACTIONS TO THE LOCAL BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AS WELL.

I ASKED FOR AN EMPTY TRUCK PICK-UP TO MAKE SURE MY CONCRETE DRIVEWAY WAS NOT CRACKED. EXCELLENT JOB, ON-TIME, NO MESS DURING OR AFTER JOB. WORKER WAS VERY INFORMATIVE. I ASKED HIM TO SIGN ME UP FOR AN AUTOMATIC TWO-YEAR DRAIN SCHEDULE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

SERVICE MAN WAS WILLING AND ABLE TO CHECK OTHER POSSIBLE PROBLEMATIC DRAINS FOR ME.
