Prompt & Pleasant. Got the job done quickly! Will definitely use again. I had to pay a bit more because of overtime - it was after 5 pm.

I called Allen Drain after my spouse shared (as he picked my up from a business trip at 10pm) that (a) he was going out of town the next day and (b) the kitchen sink was clogged and both the sink and dishwasher were unusable. Allen Drain arrived that afternoon and (of course) the drain behaved perfectly. After talking with the technician I decided to have the drain snaked anyhow - I was impressed, though, that there was absolutely no upselling involved - it was my own paranoia that made me do it. They looked at all of the pipes in the basement and also offered great advice about how to keep the drain running well in the future. They were extremely professional, cleaned up after themselves (even wiped the floor and cleaned out the sink!). I will definitely call them again if the need arises!

Everything went well. I called on New Year's Eve late in the afternoon because the drain was leaking from one of the bathrooms. The phone was answered immediately and I liked not having to leave a message. I was told that if I needed someone the same day, it would be after 4 pm and the cost would be $240. If I could wait until Jan 2nd, it would be the first stop and cost $140. I chose to wait until today. The 2 men arrived only a little later than I was told and without the call ahead promised me by the woman in the office. That was not a problem for me. They were very polite and explained everything they would have to do. They cleaned the drain (a very old cast iron pipe), replaced the cover with an expandable one that sealed the old opening, tested it several times to make sure everything drained into the septic, cleaned up and were finished in less than an hour. The cause was explained to me and it was suggested we not throw baby wipes in the toilet even though the carton says they are safe for septic systems. They are obviously not good in old, rusty sewer pipes. I expected the $140 would cover only the service call and probably would be some other charge for the new part they installed but the total cost was $140. I am totally satisfied and grateful it was fixed quickly.

I had a shower drain that was clogged with hair and Draino did not do the trick. I called Allen Drain Service out and they were here within two hours and done within 20 minutes. Very courteous, placed covers over their shoes and went right to work. Reasonably priced at $140 to fix the clog and came with a 90 day warranty.

They were a few hours later than their morning estimate, but they were very professional in their work. They resolved the issue and cleaned up very well afterward. They did warn us that the process would be messy beforehand. We were very pleased with how well they cleaned up. We still bleached the floor in the basement just in case, and would definitely call them for future service.

It was great. The fellow who came by was courteous and did a nice job. He also gave me some tips on how to avoid future problems.

I am trying to trouble shoot problem of water infiltration into basement following rain storms. Scott came out to the house and ran cameras into external drains from all downspouts to help determine possible causes of problem. He was very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He gave many helpful suggestions to help me to make some informed decisions related to the problem. I would definitely call him again if needed.

Called them at 8:00 Saturday morning and he arrived early afternoon. It was clear the sewer drain cap had not been removed for many years so it was quite a job just to get it off. He then ran the snake almost to the street before the drain opened. He tried to keep the mess to a minimum and also cleaned up beyond my expectation. He did an excellent job and was very professional. I will be sure to contact them for any future drain service and highly recommend them.

At about 8:00 p.m. I noticed about half an inch of standing water in my garage after a torrential downpour. I was concerned that the water could start flooding my basement. I called Allen Drain Service and they called me back in about 10 minutes. Mike said he could get to my place in about 2-3 hours. He arrived in 2 hours. He was friendly, polite and patiently answered all my questions - it was especially nice that he was pleasant given he was working after hours. Within about an hour he had cleared a clogged drain pipe going from the garage to the sewer by running a pro-grade electrically powered "snake" from the sewer to my garage. Mike was professional and efficient and clearly knew what he was doing as he patiently figured out the angles of the drain pipes and where his "snake" was heading. After he finished the job he gave me a status report on the clogged drain pipe. Overall it was an excellent experience and the price was right considering it was a night call.

It went very well. The man doing the work was very nice and quite confident. While the main line had never been cleaned before, it was not concerning to him. He had the tools to complete the job quickly and effectively.

They responded the next day and showed up within the time specified. The gentlemen performing the work was very good. He explained his methods very well and informed me of anything that might be splashed on before doing the work. He worked at very a good speed and answered all of my particular questions in a very friendly manner.

Everything went really well. I called them, they called me within a half and hour. They were here within three hours. They told me approximately, how much it would cost. They did the job, everything was correct, and it was done very well.

I use them all the time and they're a fantastic company. I wouldn't use anybody else. If you have something go wrong with your septic system it's an extreme expense and these guys come out and ask questions like how many people are in your home. The last guy who came told me that you could actually go 3 years without them coming out and draining it. I told him just to be safe, because of septic repairs that could cost tens of thousands of dollars, I'm going to keep with my 2 year maintenance schedule. The guys are very experienced and they make sure that I don't have any problems. My house is only 17 years old, but even so my neighbor has had all kinds of problems with his septic system and his home is only 5 years old. It's something that seems like a messy deal and some people put off having things like that done, but this company puts me on their calendar and they come out to make sure my system is running properly which can potentially save me tens of thousands of dollars. They're a very good company and when they tell me that they're going to be here they are within 15 minutes of what they told me. I always ask them to come with an empty truck because I have a concrete driveway and those septic trucks have a big tank and it could be a lot of weight.

The service man is a very nice young man who knows what he is doing. He has been here before & has always done as good a job as could be expected. We will continue to call Allen Drain every time this drain backs up.

The toilet in our back bathroom had overflowed two or three times during the night (fine before bed, then we'd wake up in the AM to a puddle of clean water on the floor), so we shut off the water supply at the base of the toilet. I have used Allen Drain in the past and was always pleased with their service, but I wasn't sure if this type of problem was still in their bailiwick, so I called to ask. They said that as long as the problem wasn't back in the wall somewhere, they could handle it. I made an appointment for a few days later and when the tech came, he was very polite and friendly and got right to work checking out the toilet. It turns out the problem was a bad shutoff valve, so he simply replaced it. The whole visit only took about 45 minutes and I was so glad to have my toilet working again!

We had a blocked downspout drain pipe that another company had told us was because the drain pipe ended in the middle of the yard. I called Allen Drain for a second opinion. They came out immediately and snaked the drain. The drain did not end in the middle of the yard, it was just blocked. They were able to clear it and it worked fine. I then had to have them come out a second time because we had had a driveway extension laid over the drain pipe and it was blocked again. They came out and confirmed that the concrete company had broken the drain which is what we suspected. They offered to help in anyway they could but suggested we call the concrete company back. They did not charge for this visit even though I expected to pay for the service call. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Called them after a referral by another plumbing company. They were able to come out within 2 hours and ran the clogged pipes. Very professional and easy to work with...

Sewer became stopped up on Christmas Eve! It wasn't quite complete blockage so we decided we could make it through Christmas. Called Allen Drain at 8 on 12/26. I was told they would have a crew at our place between 9 and 11. At 8:30 they called and said the crew was on its way. They came, did the job, were out of the house by 9:15. Cleaned up their mess and a lot of what was there before they came.

Great job! I called them early on a Saturday morning (8 am) because I had water backing up into my basement. They came out before 11 am, inspected my clogged line, and snaked it out. Saved my basement! Did a good job, were punctual, and professional. Thank you!

I called Allen Drain to inquire on pricing to clean basement drain to street since we were told because of roots we would need it done annually and our laundry drain started to back up again. Lady that answers the phone was very sweet and knowledgable and turned out their prices are fantastic (in my price range, I 'm a new home owner!) compared to the first company we used last year that was outrageous! We set up appointment and the serviceman was even early! Turns out, we only needed laundry drain cleaned due to lint trap and Scott checked sewer drain too to make sure it was draining smoothly. Honest company with great customer service skills with affordable prices......we need more companies like you! Thank you!

The property was built circa 1910 and has 2 large trees near the sewer lines. We were having trouble with sewage back up from the basement drain. One adult and teenage girls reside in the house and the problem became critical. I called 2 other sewer cleaning services and got voicemail. The 3rd, Allen, picked up immediately and said they would be at the property within 2 hours. I noticed earlier on the Allen website they have been in business a long time. I think this is important and went with them. (I later got a call from Esterle Const. whom I'm having do some work and they highly recommended Allen. Scott, the repairman was already at the site 1 1/2 Hrs. after the call - ready to go. He inspected the site and had a remedy right away - seemed very confident that the problem was likely tree roots. The rest is history - see above.

We call them up and we get their service. We don’t have a long wait. They put us on a yearly reminder, so they remind us when it’s time for the work. They pump out the whole septic tank in one trip. I am happy with them work.

The tech was prompy, arriving just before the agreed upon hour. He checked the drain system, not only where the problem was but to see if it was affecting other drains. He discovered that there had been an old metal grate affixed down inside the drain, and it would have kept clogging. He chiseled it out, so there would be no further recurrence. It was done in less than half an hour, and I was pleased - not only that the immediate problem had been solved, but that the tech fixed the problem permanantly. He could have just left it in (I had no idea it was there) to assure a repeat customer over time, but he fixed it correctly the first time. I would highly recommend them.
