The guys were prompt and on time. They cleared the drain in about 20 minutes. The best thing was they were able to get out here on the same day which made a huge difference. I paid a little more but it's done and I don't have to worry.

Do yourself a service and do not call Allen Drain. They are a RIP OFF. Charged me $500 to put in a new sump pump last year. Found that the pump retails for only around $100. So paid $400 for install and service which is ridiculous. A little after a year called them for a night service call. Agreed it was after hours. But was charged $250 for a service call which lasted less than 30 minutes and all the service guy did was reset the float, which if he had told me to try even on the phone while troubleshooting the problem, I could have done. Most honest businesses will help customers that way by helping to trouble shoot problems on the phone to avoid a service visit if it can be a simple fix. But no ALLEN DRAIN wants to try to suck every penny out of you! So much for using a local business which I thought wants to be honest and fair and help its customers. But I was Mistaken. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this RIP OFF Business called ALLEN DRAIN! Will give them negative stars if I could.

The crew arrived during the window of time provided during scheduling with a notice call. They went right to work addressing the drain issue and were done within 10-15 minutes. They provided information as to the type of blockage and approximate location in the sewer line. My only concern was the mess left behind. They disposed of the debris in a bag we use for laundry trash/lint, basement floor was wet and had additional debris. More concerning was they did not attempt to cover the floor with anything where they would be tracking in and out of the house. I should of paid more attention to the process and asked about covering the floor.

For the last 26 years we've lived in a house that is now almost 60 years old. The contractor built it as cheaply as possible and the plumbing has always been problematic. We've used other local plumbers who were very good, but Allen Drain Service is the best of the bunch. On both occasions they arrived on time and were in and out within 45 minutes. Very friendly and professional guys. Cleaned up afterwards and gave us tips on how to minimize problems in the future. They charged what seems to be standard in our area for this type of service. I hope I don't have to use them again, but I know it's not a case of "if" but rather than "when." So. when it is necessary to clean out the drains again, they'll be who we call! They were a grade A. They came out. They did the job and actually it was like a few weeks later, they guarantee within like 30 days or something like that and it was like 2 weeks later, the drain is backed up again and they came out and took care of it at no charge. It was really reasonable. They were really prompt. They came out right away first thing on a Monday morning. They came back and made sure it was right. They were professional.

I noticed a leak in the main soil drain pipe where it connects to the clean out junction just before going into the cement floor of our basement and connecting to the lateral line to the sewers. I suspected the drain must be clogged and was allowing the liquid to drain onto the floor through a broken seal on the connection. I checked Angie's List and called Allen Drain Service. Two technicians came out and performed the and inspection. They explained to me that I needed a plumber to replace the pipe and possibly the clean out junction and that it may require a partial dig out of the concrete floor around the clean out junction. I was so surprised when they said I didn't owe them anything. Many service companies will charge a fee just for showing up, but I was not charged by this company, even though they provided a quick inspection and test of my drain system that resulted in the correct diagnosis, an explanation of the probable repair, and a suggestion for a proper service provider. They were very honest, professional and courteous and I still cannot get over the fact that they did not charge me for a service call. They said they didn't do any work that would justify a fee. They merely said if I, or anyone I knew ever needed drain service, to please give Allen Drain Service a call. I will certainly do that. Allen Drain Service is an asset to residents of NE Ohio.

Cap was rusted and very difficult to remove and the job required clearing the entire line to the street. The surrounding basement area was cleaned and all was completed in a timely manner. He was very professional as well as personable. I highly recommend them to anyone needing their services.

No problem. Have been using Allen Drain for over 50 years. Only one time did I feel they charged too much. I complained and they reduced the price to my satisfaction.

Called them Thursday and arranged for them to come out Friday morning between 9 and 11 a.m. The office called Friday morning and said they were on their way. They arrived right around 9 a.m. and got the job done quickly and cleanly and with a 90 day guarantee. Plus I saved $5 with the Angie's list coupon. I'd call them again if I needed a drain opened.

.They were professional. They assessed the problem, snaked the drain, tested it and cleaned up. It didn't take them very long and I am very happy with the results. They found a lot of lint in the drain and suggested that I use an old panty hose leg to filter the discharge from the washer. The house is 50 years old and I've owned it for 3 1/2 years

It was quite a mess in the laundry room but nothing was ruined. They did clean up. They were careful not to wear dirty boots on the carpeting in the family room adjacent to my laundry room. My sister had them out last weekend to clear tree roots. Saturday job showed up two hours late. Since it was an emergency that was over looked. I handled that visit for her. Good job and a good price. A for both jobs.

Allen Drain came out the same day I called. He used a snake to remove the clog. He was very professional, he made sure he didn't make a mess, and was very efficient. He was only here for around 30 minutes.

he arrived when he said - I think my sink has been clogged for the 7 years I have lived in my house. it took him longer than I think he thought it was going to but he was really cool about it. he offered to clean up the mess but I told him I would do it. I felt bad for how hard he had to work!!! my sink has never run so good.

I had Allen drain come out again on 10/1/14 to clean 3 drains in my new house. Scott told me that the downstairs drain didn't need to be snaked and explained that if I took the cover off of the drain opening, it drained perfectly. He also looked at my basement drain and suggested to wait until I think there may be a problem because there may never be one. This alone saved me 140.00! I appreciate them because they are trustworthy and honest. They did snake my upstairs drain which has a drum trap and warned before that there is a small chance that the pipe could crack. There was no problem and they were able to snake the drain. It works perfectly now and I don't think I will even need to replace the drum trap anytime soon if at all! They also showed me where the access panel was so I could get to the drum trap in the future if I needed to. It took less than an hour and it was painless! Thanks Scott!

We had Allen Drain come out to our home to try to see what could be done about water that was coming into our basement. We had two other companies come out and still did not have a solution. We thought that maybe our drainage pipes needed to be cleaned out. When he looked at the basement and the outside, he said the problem was caused by the fact that the gap between the brick patio and the sun room was not sealed. We tested out his theory and sure enough he was right! Since he did not do any work, he did not charge us for the advice. We also use this company to pump out our septic tanks. The people that they send out are very professional. I would definitely recommend using this company!

Completed job in 30 minutes. Work was done quickly, line cover was replaced and covered. The workman explained that any problem with a clogged line within the next 90 days would be taken care of at no extra charge. Any questions we had regarding the procedures were answered completely.

I called them and they called before they arrived, they came out the same day. They took a half an hour and they charged me exactly what they said they would. They knew what they were doing, they fixed the problem. They told me what was wrong and there were no issues. Their price was reasonable.

The gentleman who came was very nice and professional. He explained the warranty after he was done and answered all my questions. The only disappointing thing was that when I made the appointment I had mentioned that I had a $5 off coupon from being an Angie's List customer and I was told they would make note of it. It evidently was not noted because I was charged the full amount, but I also take some blame because I forgot until after he left. Other than that, I was very pleased with the service and the service person was great.

They came out the same day as we called. They were professional and fixed the problem. As a angie's list we received a discount. Also reminded us that there was a 90 day warranty. Due to severity of blockage they recommended we contact a plumber.

We were having problems with a clogged toilet. Around February 27th he came to the house an estimate . A week later he installed the toilet. The following day he called to see if everything was working.
