Pride Power Wash & Painting

Well to say I am thrilled with the end result is an understatement! My deck is not only beautiful but safe to walk on. He advised me with every step and there was a lot happening. So pleasant to work with these guys. Very professional and quite meticulous with every repair they did. I had a few requests that they had no problem with accomplishing. The many many years of dirt and grime were washed away on the house and cement. William, thank you, and your guys so much.

I think I was punished quote wise for having my own paint. I believe the price to be high considering I was supplying the paint.

They did a good job. I would recommend this company to anyone.

The representative from Pride was very friendly and professional. I used a different provider as Pride's price quote was at least $60 higher.

When Bill S. gave me the estimate it was for $321.00. They did an excellent job on the house/garage power washing just as they had done for me 4 or 5 years prior. This was the second time I have used them. I was surprised when Bill asked me if I wanted the deck power washed and I said yes. When I had used them before, they had washed the brick porch, our brick wall, and the stone walkway in the backyard as well as our cement patio. All were included in the estimate price so I said to also wash the deck. The deck is built over the old cement patio. When we settled up at the end of the job, I gave them a check for $321.00 per the estimate. Then Bill informed me that I would have to pay $50. more since they also washed the deck. I was very surprised with this additional charge considering all that they had done for me on the earlier power wash. I gave them another check for the additional $50.00, and he said that he wouldn't charge for tax. I thought estimates included everything including tax. I probably was not detail enough in indicating what I wanted washed although I did tell Bill that I did not want him to wash the brick porch, the brick wall, or the stone walkway in the back yard. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone but would suggest that they be very specific as to what they want washed and what they do not want washed. Also ask if the estimate includes tax.

Wife found Pride from Angies list with great reviews. We have an upcoming 4th of July family function and needed to get our deck in tip top condition. We moved into our home 3 years ago and the deck, which was "hastily" painted and fixed by the prior owner was now peeling, loose railings, and rotting wood. The house is only 9 years old! We needed help! We didn't want a major renovation! Pride sent over someone to examine & inspect deck within 2 days of initial phone call, and provided us with a estimate. They reassured us the deck was in "great condition" and required minor fixes in addition to the powerwash and stain/paint. The initial estimate was $1100. As they were working on deck (delayed by a very rainy week), more wood/repairs were needed. As OSU Buckeye fans, we wanted to paint the deck in scarlet and gray, which they did at no additional cost. They were quick, professional, and restored our deck to PRISTINE condition that I am proud to show off to the arriving family for the 4th of July party. We were reassured by their honesty, hard-work and flexibility. The price was fair, the work was well-done and we LOVE the new color scheme. We will definitely use them again for future painting projects. As a side note, a prior contractor said our deck was "unstable" and quoted us approx. $10,000 to get the deck in "Safe" condition. We were so relieved to find out everything was well, minor fixes and the deck is good to go for another 10-15 years!

I called for an estimate for the powerwashing on Saturday, 5/31, received a call back on Monday, 6/2 with information that the owner would be out to do an estimate within the week. He arrived the next day, Tues 6/2, and told me he'd probably be back the very next day to do the job, which he was! Excellent response time and very professional. I am really happy with the job and will recommend Pride Powerwashing to anyone who might be looking for that service.

I have a very large 2nd story deck which I have always powerwashed and stained myself. The last time, I got sick from the fumes and vowed to never do it myself again. I called Pride based on the reviews on Angie's List. William was prompt and gave me an estimate (with discount from Angie's List) for powerwashing and staining my deck and the wood on my garage. They came promptly and power washed my deck, but due to the rainy weather, we had to reschedule the stain. I chose a new deck restoring product from Sherwin Williams, and William said he would have no problem using it even though he had not used it before and usually got his product from Home Depot. I provided the stain since I get a substantial discount from S&W. He was pleased with the results and the ease of application. William and his 2 workers arrived on time to do the staining. They worked all day, and came back to finish up the next day. I didn't look under the deck until Saturday afternoon. I noticed that they had missed some of the posts and the boards along the steps. I emailed William and he called me right back. He thought the posts were not stained, so he didn't do them. I guess it was just a misunderstanding. He came out Sunday morning with one of his crew members and finished up the job. My deck looks great, and with the recent rain, has done very well. I cannot say enough good things about this company. William is very cheerful, and it was so refreshing to deal with someone who believes in customer satisfaction. I hightly recommend Pride.

They showed up when they said they would and did an excellent job. The decks look like new.

They did a good job. I was please with the results. Although I had a problem , after the men left. My house alarm would not work. When the technician from the alarm company came, he said water had got into my outdoor electrical sockets , when I had the siding powerwashed.. He said to avoid this problem in the future, ask the people who do the powerwashing to cover the two outdoor electrical sockets. I will inquire if Pride Power Wash And Painting will do this. If they will cover my outdoor electrical sockets, I will use the company again.

They were great initially with contact via email and the over the phone estimate was awesome. William suggested to meet that Saturday and he came out and was on time. True to the estimate, he quoted an exact price the wasn't inflated. In fact it was so reasonable I decided to have the back of my house power washed. They came out to do the power washing and forgot to do the house as it was an add on. One call and they came to correct it next day. That left the staining. The weather never co-operated as it has to be above 40 degrees. There were a few days that would of worked and we also had to plan around the rain. I had to make these initial calls to see what their plan was. Other than this. everything was awesome. They were professional, prompt and the quality of job performed was as expected after reading the other reviews. UPDATE: After a winter the deck floor lost color. We called William and expressed our concern. We were initially told it was the Stain used. The Stain that he recommended by the way. During these phone calls William kept on claiming. "I know what we did was right" he also mentioned that "We shook the Stain/Sealer". This was curious to me as I never would do so. Shaking a 5 gal bucket is not easily done to the point were the pigment it thoroughly mixed as well as the sealer. So, I called the Manufacturer. They told me it must be mixed/stirred. I wondered why my bucket seal was never broken and the remaining product in the bucket was clumpy. They Never mixed the product properly. Since, William did come out to the house. He pointed out several areas where sap had come through the boards. I will grant him this. Although there were many faded areas this hadn't happened. He also stated the deck looks good. Well, that's relative! We happen the think not. We have reached out several times. Recently, he offered to correct, but I'd have to pay the labor. What? Are you Kidding? He also stated that he'd do the job the same way. Again, are you kidding? So, we decided not to have Pride Power washing to return. Pride is not a Company that will admit mistakes. We tried to work with them instead of just posting. They do not want to compromise. We offered solutions, but every time, it was met with resistance. We did the job right. We disagree! Do not use this company. We chose because of all the A ratings and price. Initially, all was good. But the company does not stand behind their work. They stick to, "Well, the labor part was done right so, what do you want me to do about it". Not the way to treat a customer that has concerns. That bought the watersealer they recommended etc.

They were exceptional! They got right back to me when I called. He came by when I was not home and left a quote for me Their prices were reasonable. They gave me an appointment date and I voiced I wanted it done sooner. They said it was no problem to get me in a month sooner than anticipated and they everyone was very courteous. The receptionist was fun to talk to also. I was very impressed with their services and their professionalism. The finish product looks beautiful.

Pride did an awesome job on my deck. The power wash was amazing on how well it looked before and after. Will was also able to replace a rotted board on my stair runner and garage trim. All the guys were very professional and curteous. Will be using them later on for interior work.

Fantastic. Still has a touch-up needed on a couple slats, but still fantastic.

Awesome job. Very quick to come out and give me an estimate, which was very reasonable. The two men who came out and did the work were fast, thorough, and very nice/courteous. The bricks look amazing. I had no idea they were quite as bad as they were until we got them cleaned. It literally looks like we tore out the old brickwork and got new put in because the job done was so good.

It went great inspite of all the rain we had in June. They knew I wanted it completed by June 30 for a shower i was giving. The came in on time and budget. The deck still looks great.

It went fine. They were courteous, efficient, and called me to let me know when they were going to be here. I could not find anything negative about them. They did a great job.

The deck is beautiful. The price was over half of two other quotes. Staff very professional and did such a great job. If you want a great deck for the best price around, call these guys.

Everything was great. I hired them to power wash & paint the siding on my house along with the trim. They replaced any rotted out wood (including rebuilding part of the porch trim) and painted the trim a new color. I provided them with a paint chip of the color I wanted and they were able to match it exactly. I think the job took longer than they had estimated because there ended up being more wood that needed to be replaced than originally planned but even with the extra work the final cost was still only slightly over the estimate. The peace of mind in knowing that the work has been done and done well is absolutely worth every penny. They worked for 5 days over the course of 2 weeks and did a great job.

The service was awesome - we scheduled to work - they came out as they promised. My house and fron stairs and stoop have never looked so good. I would use these folks in a heartbeat. I have had folks come out and power wash my house before - but these folks did an exceptional job. They also called to verify all was well. good service

He was very responsive in getting back to me. The work looked good. The only concern was that the rain came that night, and it ideally needed 24 hours to dry after the stain was applied. He said that if the water is 'pooling' then it would be ok. I think it is repelling, so for now it is ok.

Our deck had been neglected for the last several years; the previous owners had not stained it in some time, and we were unsure what we wanted to do with the deck, so we ignored it too. It was very dirty and covered with mildew. We had two companies quote the job, and Pride Power Wash and Painting came in slightly higher than the other company; however based on the positive reviews and after meeting William personally, I opted to use Pride. Just the power washing alone was amazing! Our deck cleaned up so well and looked brand new. The stain made it even better. I wish we had opted for a lighter, more natural color after seeing how well it cleaned up; but that decision was on me, not Pride. I certainly didn't expect the deck to look as amazing as it did! That's a testament to the work of Pride and their attention to detail. So my only advice: If you're unsure of color, get a sample first. Then hire Pride Power Wash and Painting to do the job!
