Pride Power Wash & Painting

First off, the guys could not have been nicer or more professional in their demeanor. I have some complaints about the work though. They power-washed and stained my second floor deck. The power washing is so effective, that it ripped up many patches of the previous deck stain, which is fine, as long as those areas get well stained again. I was pretty amazed that they put down two coats on a very large deck in an hour and a half. And I think it went so quickly because these two coats where too thin. (I presume they put down thin coats so it can dry and they can do it all in one day. But after they left, there were many patches of what felt like completely raw wood. I really didn't think the wood would be protected from the elements. So I went back and put on a third coat myself to make sure the wood was protected. After this third more liberal coat, the stain is now consistent—all the wood is covered and water beads up on it. If I use them again, promising to put down two real coats, no matter how long it takes, would be a requirement of getting the job. And I suggest you be careful about that if you use them.

Long story short, we are very happy with the job that they did cleaning, repairing and staining our deck. Our deck was in pretty bad shape. It really needs to be torn down and replaced, but we didn't want to invest that much money right now to do it. William from Pride Power Wash and Painting seemed confident that with cleaning and restaining, it could look a lot better. So with his estimate being much more within our budget, we decided to give it a try. They power washed our deck and one side of the house. They also replaced some boards that ranged from cracked to completely broken on the deck, and stained the deck, stairs and latticework. Both William and Laurel were also very patient with all of our questions along the way since I was hesitant, to say the least, of what the final product would look like, and we had been burned by contractors on other projects before. We are very happy with our deck. It was impossible to make it look ?like new?, but it looks 1000% better than it did before and far exceeded our expectations. In addition to the repairs we wanted them to do, they took the time to turn over a couple boards that were split on one side, but not completely worthless. They also must have taken a lot of time to ensure that no stain got on the siding, because I haven?t found a speck of stray material anywhere. The only small issue was with communication. Almost all communication was done over the phone. The estimate was done without us being there, which led to the final cost being about $100 more since the extent of the repairs we wanted weren?t able to be clearly communicated over the phone. They also worked like ninjas as we didn?t know when they got there or when they left after they were done. A few minutes of going over things before they left could have potentially avoided them having to come back to finish some touchups, and just allowed us an opportunity to properly thank them for the work that they did. That?s really minor though because as I said, we are VERY happy with the finished product and would definitely recommend them.

Very professional, easy to work with. Minor drawbacks: Missed a small section of the house, but came back and washed it. Also his ladder appears to have made some marks on the wood siding of the house. Didn't notice these marks until a few weeks later.

The kept me updated about scheduling. They were able to show up on the date we agreed upon since the weather cooperated. They got started right away, and did a great job!

Beautiful results--house looks like new. William did just as he promised. He was adept, careful of our property, and efficient. As noted by others,both he and Laurel were most pleasant . Trying to get a time established for the service involved some back-and-forth; but they are so accommodating and helpful that it was not a problem for us. Always nice when a service is so successful and an easy experience.

Owner William Statczar was detail-oriented and thorough; he listened and followed our several specific requests. He communicated clearly about timeframe, outcomes and cost. Very professional. Absolutely would use again. The company also paints houses, stains/seals decks, related repairs.

The entire experience with Pride was outstanding. I reached out to Pride and several others with A ratings on Angie's List. The team at Pride returned my call immediately and made arrangements to come out for an estimate. I wasn't home when they came to estimate the work, but my mom was at my house and she said they were extremely pleasant and offered to answer any questions. When I called to schedule the work, they kept in communication regarding scheduling and were out to do the work on the days they had said. The work was outstanding and William and his team were extremely nice and professional. Everything was left very clean and neat. I will definitely reach out to Pride in the future with any power washing/painting needs!

Bill and his team were great! This being a 'weather dependent' business my jobs were done sooner than planned since the weather finally was cooperated.I had my entire home, deck and fence power-washed and it hadn't looked that good in years! One week later my deck and whole fence was painted/stained in one day. This would have taken me weeks so it was worth the investment to me. Awesome team of workers!!

Had a little trouble with getting in contact with them for an estimate, but once I did everything went well. Due to the nature of needing dry weather in order to paint the deck, I was okay with waiting several weeks as they had other jobs ahead of me. I supplied the paint. They power washed on Thursday and when I came home on Monday, the deck was painted. I was pleased with the way it looked and the area around the deck looked in good shape. They cleaned up and even reconnected my hose. I would definitely use them again.

Bill came out and gave an estimate in a reasonable time frame. I was given the option of using a product I would purchase with Bill's agreement on the quality. I talked with Laurel (who answers the calls) a few times before the final product was ordered and the job was scheduled. She is very pleasant and helpful (and patient) and answered any questions I had, particularly the amount of product I would need. (Spot-on recommendation!) When I was ready (and it quit raining) Steven and Mike arrived first thing in the morning. They worked all day and did not even leave to eat lunch; they had packed their lunches so they could eat on site. They are great guys who worked very hard the entire day--maybe 8 or 9 hours--and despite the 90-degree weather, they always smiled. I was extremely impressed with their work ethic and attitude. The only thing I found that was not excellent with the deck was that the area between the boards has some drips and exposed, unstained wood. However, I believe that will be taken care of when it needs stained again. The job was reasonably priced for the hard work these guys did. This is a good company, and I will use them again for my deck or possibly painting the house if we hire it out.

They were wonderful. They were very nice. I found out about them on Angie's List. They were very clean and did not make a mess, which always makes me happy. They were very professional and were a great group of guys. They were very friendly, but, yet they did not want to use the bathroom and I offered them water, but they did not take it, that kind of stuff. I thought their price was very reasonable and we got 10-percent off because we are a member of Angie's List. The deck came out very nice. When I called him up for them to come out and give us an estimate he was out in a couple of days.

Terrific service and end result! William did in one day what it would normally take me a weekend to do, and not nearly as good an end result. Wow! I'll definitely recommend this company.

We requested Pride Power Wash to repair and seal our deck, which was done fine. The next afternoon I came home and found them half done with painting our house. We had previously gotten an estimate for house painting but never agreed to have it done. There was no written contract made for the work. Recalled memories of verbal statements differ. Consequently I had to have the house painting completed resulting in a bill $3000 higher than expected. It is not professionally appropriate for this company to do several thousand dollars of work without a signed contract specifying exactly the tasks to perform, materials to use and cost.

He did a very thorough and professional job.

Came to house to give written estimate a week before--extremely reasonable unlike other estimates we had gotten. Mr Statczar washed one day and returned to paint four days later. His work is professional, neat and efficient. I canNOT say enough good things about this company! Normally this job has taken a full weekend to complete in past years and today it took 8 hrs Two coats were applied. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone needing this kind of service!

I have used this company for more than 5 years. My house has yellow siding so, while it may not necessarily need to be done every year, I choose to have it done as I like it to stay clean-looking. It is normal to have some 'drip' spots but I am able to wipe those down myself. William is very careful with landscaping, patio furniture, and patio plants/flowers. This year, while on the roof, he noticed that my gutters needed some cleaning so he cleaned out what I missed back in April . Many years ago I bought a 'turbo powerwasher' from HSN thinking I could 'do-it-myself' cheaper. I spent about 1 hour on 1/4 of my house, every part of my body hurt and the house looked bad. I sent the powerwasher back and have used William ever since---BEST thing I ever did.

They were quick getting back to me on my initial call. Came out and gave me a detailed estimate. They came when they said they would and did a very thorough job. They also let me know that some of the wood around my windows was rotting and wanted to know if I wanted it repaired. I did and they are coming back to give me an estimate. I plan to have them do that job for me. I would definitely use them again and I will recommend them to my friends.

William did an excellent job, just as he did 2 years ago. Would recommend highly. Feel his prices are quite reasonable as well.

It went awesome. I've had Bill out several times over the years for power washing house, fence, deck and for painting. He does an outstanding job and I would never hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

I didn't contact William until very late in the season. I wanted to have my deck and house power washed and the deck stained in anticipation of putting the house up for sale early next year. He suggested doing the deck this year and waiting to do the house wash closer to the time it would go on the market. Due to the weather, he showed up on a Sunday to do the stain. William has been doing my deck for many years and last year painted all the trim on my home also. He is very reliable and does a great job!

Deck looks great! They did a fantastic job! Recommended them to a co-worker and the co-worker was also very happy with the quality of the repairs and staining.

William and his partner painted the exterior of my home. In addition, They power washed, repaired and stained my deck which I thought was going to have to be replaced. The result of the power wash alone was outstanding and save me thousands of dollars. William even went out and replaced the broken piece of trim on the deck. William is friendly, professional and went over and above what was requested. Have already referred his business to another person in the area and continue to do. Completed everything in 2 business days.

WILLIAM IS SO EASY TO WORK WITH AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. EVERYTHING WENT VERY SMOOTHLY AND I WILL DEFINITELY CALL HIM FIRST WHEN WE NEED TO TEND TO THE DECK IN THE FUTURE. HE EVEN CAME BACK OUT A FEW WEEKS LATER TO TOUCH UP A COUPLE OF AREAS OF CONCERN.
