Pride Power Wash & Painting

Overall and great experience. This is the 3rd time i have used them, and would definately recommend them!!!

The owner, William, came out to do the estimate. He was very friendly and professional. The power washing went very well and the house looks great. The deck cleaned up like new and they did an excellent job with staining it.

William at Pride Power Wash & Painting called me back promptly after I first called, gave me an estimate within three days, and did the job as agreed a few days later. He did an outstanding job, was thorough and professional, and was pleasant to deal with. We were very happy with every aspect of our experience with Pride, will use them again, and recommend them to others.

It went pretty well. He took several weeks longer than I had liked. He did a very good job so the job was good. When they spray painted the deck they got some on the glass door that was by the deck.

William and co-worker appeared on time and worked steadily until finished - a lot of area to cover. When he came to quote the work, I forgot to request the landscape blocks be cleaned - they graciously included them without increasing the price. The "fan-shaped" deck balustrades present a challenge to clean but he did a pretty good job. At the end I thought one segment of the house didn't look as bright, but before I could bring it up he spotted it and hooked up the equipment again and climbed up to wash it. Everything cleaned up nicely except the old oil or grease stains on the garage floor, which was disappointing.

Selected two potential contractors from a search of Angie's List. Called both for a quote, which they both provided within a couple of days. As both potential contractors were highly rated on Angie's List, picked one with the lowest cost. Scheduled a time for the work to be completed and it was completed as scheduled. Quality of work appears to be excellent and final cost was as estimated.

Upon calling Pride Power Wash, the owner William came out Sept. 21 for the estimate when he said he would, listened to everything I had to say about the deck problems and said he and his small crew could take care of it. The crew came out and power washed the deck and railing bare and had to let it dry before applying the stain. Rain forced a slight delay, but the contractor came back out as soon as the boards were dry on Oct. 13, cut new boards to replace the warped or damaged ones and coated everything. The new wood was not an exact match to the old wood, so William coated those boards 4 times each to get them close to how the rest looked...you can't tell the difference...and he left us a gallon of stain from a 5-gallon bucket for touch ups. I was very impressed with the company's repair work. My wife and I felt the pricing was a little above average, but having stained our massive deck in the past, we knew we wanted someone else to tackle that job, and it was worth the price for the result we received. I also had asked if the company could remove deck stain from the siding of the home...they tried but it was ground in. They even sprayed a bees' nest near the deck, though the bees are still there and we'll be hiring an Angie's List exterminator to take care of that problem next. Pride Power Wash, which moved everything off our deck for us (table, 4 chairs, storage bin and heavy grill), gave us a verbal guarantee that anything we weren't happy with they would fix, but there was no need to use it. Needless to say, Pride Power Wash deserves its straight-A ratings and Angie's List awards, and we'll be bringing them back in two years to wash and recoat our deck.

The estimate was reasonable and they came to do the work in the stated time frame. However, they power washed furniture that was COVERED and never discussed as being part of the work. They caused slight damage to the chairs. They also left a mess on the driveway from the wash solution. We had just had our driveway sealed so it stood out even more. We were simply told "we would have to come back and pressure wash it off. It will fade.". William argued with me regarding both of these facts. I am not a difficult customer but when a customer has an issue with your work, a professional will not argue and will either clean up the mess or offer some other small token to show they appreciate that the job was not done to their customer's satisfaction. I did not pay the bill during this time of dispute-rightfully so-and William harassed me through voice mail, implying that I was trying not to pay. This is NOT the Pride Power Wash formerly owned by Danny-the price may be reasonable and the work average but there is a total lack of professionalism.

Pride did a terrific job, they were prompt and professional and the deck looks great now. We didn't have to pay anything until we were totally satisfied with the job they did. By the way, their estimate was about half the cost of the other company we called out.

I am very pleased with the overall experience and glad that I had this done. They quoted me $265 then when I mentioned the Angie's List discount of $10.00 they did bring the price down to $255. I thought that for what they did and the time they spent on it, that it was worth the money. Great attention to detail and great work ethic. The men were professional, friendly and seemed to enjoy their work.

The men were very professional and took time to get to the high spots as well as the nooks and crannies. We saw a spot from the up stairs window and they cleaned it in detail. This spot was not viewable from the ladders or ground.

They did a great job and it went well. They even found something I was unaware of with my generator and fixed it for me.

Fantastic. Pride is the perfect name for this company. Bill returned my call promptly, came out when he said he would, and did an outstanding job. Our house had not been power washed for a decade or more. It looked awful. It looks fabulous now and I do not have to spend money now to paint it. Bill is honest, meticulous and the nicest person. He deserves Angies List awards. Terrific experience!

I have used their services before but they have a new owner now. Everything went fine. They were on time and did a good job from what I can tell. Everything looks good.

Very good experience! William returned my initial call and got me an initial estimate very quickly. I was able to schedule the work within about 2 weeks. William and his helper arrived on time and answered my questions. Also I thought about having them pressure wash my 2 patios as well and William was able to accommodate my last-minute request. It took about 2 hours for them to pressure wash my 1,100 sq. ft. vinyl-sided ranch home and 2 patios. They were very thorough and even included a small step-patio and my sidewalk in front of my front porch. They were able to clean part of my gutters as well and I learned I needed to have them cleaned--their equipment is really not designed for gutters specifically but they did what they could. As a side note, here, I bought one of those pressure washers off of TV and tried doing the house myself--never again. I spent 45 minutes on just 1/8 of the house and my arms really hurt. Also, William uses a special cleaning solution that is really designed for pressure washing houses. I have learned that most of the time trying to do-it-yourself results in a lot of time and money spent and a less-than-professional outcome. I sent the pressure washer back, saved the money, having to store it and the pain on my body. I recommend you do the same and just call William. You'll be glad you did!

Received a call stating they would stop by the next week and look over the job to be completed and leave an estimate. They called after the estimate and we agreed on price and they said they would come sometime in the next couple of weeks to do the work. When I explained that I needed it completed by a certain date they had no problem and they came in 3 days which was even earlier than I needed. They were prompt and professional and I would use them again.

They are on time. They did exactly what they said. They lived up to what THEY SAY THEY WILL DO.

They were absolutely wonderful. The way they handled things was great. They were very careful. They took care not to ruin flowers. They went out of their way to come back and get it stained. Everybody was great to deal with.

He was very courteous. Believe it or not I actually paid him more than he quoted me on because he did some additional things that he wasn't going to bill me for, but I insisted. I thought he did such a good job. He couldn't have been more enthusiastic to do the work. He would always be my first choice.

He really did a wonderful job, he took longer than I expected due to him making sure the job was thorough. I have used this gentleman before, he is nice and I am satisfied with his prices and work.

They did an excellent job. The timing was acceptable. They were professional. They went above and beyond the call of duty as far as getting the deck cleaned. It turned out to be a more difficult and time consuming job than expected.

They did a fantastic job. Not only did they do what the said they would do, but they noticed that the hot tub chemical box did not have a true bottom -- it just was sitting on the deck. They made a bottom and did not charge us for it. The wood repair to the hot tub was excellent and I really did not expect them to do the that good of a job. I can understand why they are super service award winner.

They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. They took great care with their work. We got a very good value for the price they charged.

I am so happy with the results. William left an estimate on my door two days after I called for one then was able to schedule the cleaning a day after that. He arrived about 2:30 in the afternoon and spent about 4 hours cleaning my two-story house, front porch (which has white railings) and my two car unattached garage. It looks like new. The siding is so clean and all the spider webs that had accumulated over the years are all gone. I can walk though doorways without dodging them. He even cleaned the ceiling of my porch. I had cleaned the front porch twice myself since moving in but I didn't come close to the wonderful job that William did. He recommended I do this every 2-3 years but I will probably have him out in 2 because I just love the look and the price is so reasonable and affordable. I can't wait for family and friends to visit so I can show it off. William was very pleasant to work with and the quality of the job is superb.
