It went great. They were professional and on time. The quality of the work was good.

The work was good. He was late but called to let me know he would be, so that wasn't a problem. He left a dry wall powder mess. and didn't ask to borrow any cleaning supplies. He wasn’t there for the 4 hours I paid for.

He did not do the job. He came in and was complaining about how much was going to be perform after explaining to him over the phone what the job was going be. He seemed like a nice guy.

Painting Excellence just finished stripping my kitchen of two layers of wallpaper that had been in place for well over twenty years. Because I had worked several hours on just a small section, I knew it was a tough, tough job and the walls would be scarred. I was really concerned that the paint job would show all the gouges. I should not have been worried. Kevin and Dennis patched everything and sealed, skim-coated, and sanded the walls. The preparation that they did resulted in a paint job that far exceeded what I had hoped for. When you find a great contractor, hang on to them. I am already taking steps to hire Painting Execllence for another challenging wallpaper removal/painting job.

I bought the initial 4 hours of wallpaper removal, then contracted to finish the job. Went well considering how bad the walls looked to begin with. I had tried to remove the wallpaper myself , but turned out the bottom layer was placed directly on unprepared drywall (shakes fist at builder!). The builder also didn't join the wall to the ceiling, but covered the gaps with cheap crown molding. So finishing the job turned out to be a challenge.

I had an Angie's list deal for 4 hours of wallpaper removal. The task I had was to remove wallpaper in a small bath that I thought might just take that amount of time, or a bit more. He removed the paper in just four hours so I had no additional charges. He arrived on time and cleaned up thoroughly when he left. He minimzed chemical use, which wasn't advertized but is a plus for me. I was completely satisfied with his service.

The service turned out very good. We had them stay for an additional four hours to continue with the wallpaper removal. Scheduling was easy; they were able to get us an appointment within a few days of our call. We are satisfied with their services and it was a tough job.

Excellent work. Kevin checked and rechecked to make sure the correct colors were being used in each room, went over areas of concern and even sent pictures of the progress to us via email and text. Walls were sanded and prepared thoroughly before painting and care was taken to protect our wood floors and unusual carpeting. We were very happy with the end result.

I originally hired them to remove wallpaper from a landing on my stairwell. The original contractor didn't do a great job hanging the wallpaper. They were very diligent removing the wallpaper. They did such a great job. They had to skim it twice and add a sealer before they could apply the final paint. The finish looks flawless. They kept to their schedule. They cleaned up everyday before they left. They very professional.

They were prompt in communicating with us and answering questions before the job started. Once they started painting, they were professional and thorough. Finished the work on time and we are very happy with the result. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Kevin was professional, knowledgable, and very willing to accommodate all of my requests. He provided a detailed estimate very timely after he came over to check out the work I needed completed. He will be returning to complete the same thing in 2 additional rooms. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing wall paper removal and painting.

Kevin and his crew were AWESOME! Even the most small details were addressed....without even a question (or a bill. heh heh). Their protection and care of the house was stellar. There was never an issue with entry/exit (no paint footprints on floors). Contact was EASY and regular. Phone, text, email. Very easy to get in touch with. Schedule was flexible, even in the busy summer months. I'm sitting here trying to come up with any kind of negatives....and I can't. Ummm....they didn't wear name tags? LOL That's about all I have. It went well. Too a little longer than planned because 1 employee was not available. However, I was not in a rush. The estimate included repairing/replacing a cracked board, which they ended up not doing, but they reduced the actual cost from the original estimate. They also provided the name of a carpenter who could do the work needed.

This is the second time I have used this company. They were again very professional and a pleasure to work with. My living room looks wonderful because of the great job they did painting. Will definitely use again because it seems when you get one room done all of a sudden the flaws in the other rooms appear more prominent.

After removing the wallpaper, discovered the drywall was in very poor condition, especially the bathroom. Kevin did an amazing job of sanding and repairing the walls so that paint could be applied. The paint on the walls turned out perfect. Kevin took a lot of time in helping me pick out the color and it turned out exactly as I desired. This was a very pleasant and professional experience from beginning to end. I will definitely hire this company again.

Kevin and Richard did an excellent job. Because of the stripping there were quite a few trips to complete the job but Kevin kept me informed as to when they would be working at our house. There was no damage from pressure washing and working around the deck to any of the plants that surround the deck. The deck looks beautiful and matches perfectly with the house. After they completed the job Kevin called to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. There were a few minor items to touch up so they returned and took care of everything promptly. I could not have been happier with the work they did.

Ok. He did the repairs, then came back to sand etc.. He was very difficult to get back out, and we had to have two large cracks redone, as they still looked bad. He seemed to mean well, but was unable to complete things fully.

In early April, I first contacted this provided because of a deal I saw on Angie's List to have a deck restained for $250. When I contacted them they said they were booked for 3 weeks. I said that was okay and called back about 3 weeks later. During the second call, they indicated the jobs they had were taking a little bit longer than they thought and would be busy for another 3 weeks, but could stop by to provide an estimate. During this time, I actually did not end up buying the $250 deal, but I thought during a couple of the calls the owner assured me that he would give me the discounted price. We knew we needed some work done on the deck but weren't sure the extent this provider could repair it. After he looked at the deck he recommended a carpenter. Of course, then the carpenters were booked for a few weeks. The owner was nice enough to check back to see if I had the repairs done, be we were still waiting on the availability of the carpenter. The owner recommended someone he knew who did a really good job on the repairs promptly and at a very good price. During this time he also kept pushing to have the whole house power washed. I'm not really keen on vendors that tell me the work I should have done and not focusing on the job for which I'm hiring them.. I was really surprised with the $875 estimate that finally came in and saw that the coupon discount was not applied. Because the price just seemed so high (with or without the discount) we sought other estimates. This one was definitely significantly higher than the others. We ended up having the deck restained for about 40% less than this estimate
