We were forced to DSE Mechanical by our home warranty company and this has been the worst experience I have ever been through. When I called DSE there was a very rude voice message from a DSE employee when you call. The message basically tells you not to leave a message because they aren’t going to call you back. Please trust me, they WILL NOT call you back no matter what. I just wanted to see initially if I could get an earlier appointment for diagnostic, as my son was in a body cast and it was 90 degrees outside. No call back after two messages. During the process after the diagnostic, I finally had to start having my warranty company call DSE directly to talk to them. They would only pick up when the warranty company called, I’m assuming because of caller ID. The warranty company would come back on the line and tell me that the horribly rude lady that answers the calls for DSE, started to get mad that I had the warranty company call them. At one point the DSE employee told the warranty associate who called that she didn’t understand why I just didn’t get a window unit for my son, in a snarky tone. I did have a portable a/c unit on my son and in 90 degrees it wasn’t enough. I am now at 4 weeks with no a/c and again I had the warranty company call DSE last week and the lady told the warranty company that it’s their job to follow up on parts. I called the warranty company again on 6/11/18 and per the associate she talked to the lady at DSE and she is going to call me that day to schedule an appointment. After leaving a message with DSE that day, no call back as promised. However, after we canceled the entire service job and just took a buy out to have this nightmare end, the lady from DSE finally called to schedule the installation appointment. Needless to say, it was too late. I cannot speak to their work quality, but I can tell you that if you want a positive customer service experience, do not use this company. I have been in tears over this horrific process and I just want it to be over.

This was NOT a smooth transaction. I would be better off with a window air conditioner.
Description of Work: They supposedly put in a new outside unit, A coil, new drain line, new electric line, new copper lines. I had a home warranty through First American Home Buyers Protection Corp.(I would not recommend them either). My air conditioner died and the warranty company hired DSE to put a new unit in. This should have been under warranty. I had to pay the following: Reclaim refrig fee $95 Electric modify about 10' of wire $140 Outside disposal fee $75 Copper Line Modify $160 (about 3')Flushing Line $85 (don't know why if new lines and A coil were installed) Line change 5/8" to 7/8" $495 Inside fees copper line $140 drain line modify $75 ( original line was not changed) disposal fee $75 I was told I got a small discount from warranty company. System has not worked right, house will not cool under 78 degrees and runs constantly. Company will not return calls. I did not get any info or warranty papers on new system just a work order. Finally sent an email to DSE. They informed me that I would have to take this up with the home warranty company and they said the new system only had a 30 day warranty.
