Fantastic result. We are so pleased with our new master bathroom that we hired Dave Gordon Construction to add a porch to the front of our home.

Very well. The job was done exactly as we had agreed within a reasonable time period.

They did a great job removing an old flower brick box and added concrete to an existing porch and beam.

Dave was a wonderful man. Very professional. My job was small and most the other companies I asked for a quote did not even respond to me. I would hire him again ,no doubts at all. I put one penny for the cost because I feel that is private information for me to disclose to anyone.

David did a great job on the installation of the shower door. I was impressed with his attention to details even on a relatively small project. It looks great and an I am very happy with the job. I would highly recommend him and use him again.

Dave arrived the day he was scheduled, and kept his schedule all week. He and his crew did a great job and the worksite was tidy. He did the job correctly with a proper footer and rebars secured to the original porch. We're so glad to have had him fix the problem.

We could not be happier with the result. Dave and those he hires to sub certain work, i.e. tile, electric are all professionals. Dave personally did most of the work and was on site throughout the project. We purchased and furnished major items - vanity, top, shower/sink fixtures, towel bars, flooring, paint, lights, tile, etc. Dave's price included building supplies (drywall), etc. Work site was cleaned up daily. Project took about a month and a half - mostly due to a delay (not Dave's fault) in getting flooring/tile. With Dave Gordon you should also know there will likely be a delay (a month or more at times) in getting a project started. He is in high demand because the quality of his work is excellent. Dave is a hard-working, consummate, professional. Quality for a reasonable price. We would (and will) hire Dave Gordon again. The photos are not professional - just me and my smartphone.

David and his associates were extremely professional and timely. The work was performed with the highest quality and David's suggestions saved me several thousand dollars.

Dave does excellent work! He explained how he would go about framing and closing the wall once the side door was removed. This included setting concrete blocks to meet the existing foundation, framing, adding insulation, putting up drywall, painting, and installing vinyl siding on the outside. It turned out very nice - you'd never know a door had been there. The back door had many problems, but now thanks to Dave it closes nice and tight. Both projects now mean that our kitchen is much warmer!

An opportunity came up and we needed to sell our home quickly. We had been told by a previous handyman who came to fix a rocking toilet that the subfloor around the toilet was soft from a slow leak and would need to be replaced, but he had shimmed the toilet to prevent the rocking temporarily. The toilet never rocked again, so we frankly forgot about being told we needed the repair. In prepping our home for the sale, we knew we needed to address the issue and were scrambling to find a contractor who could take a look on short notice. Mr. Gordon was extremely professional on the phone and was quick to get back to me. He was out within the time frame I needed. He removed the toilet to inspect the subfloor to find that the reason the toilet never rocked again is because the subfloor was concrete and completely sound and intact. He could have gone along with my ignorance and "fixed" the problem, but he was honest and showed me why nothing needed to be done. So instead of an unnecessary repair that probably would have cost several hundred dollars, all it cost was an $80 trip charge. Now that we've moved, we have some remodeling to do in our new place and will be giving him a call!

I can't write enough good things about our experience with Dave on our basement finishing. He was honest, extremely knowledgable, experienced, organized and listened to exactly what we wanted. We met with over 5 contracts for this project and we were extremely frustrated with timeliness, commitment, and cost. Dave is the most knowledgable and reliable contractor by far. He was listened to what we were wanted and offered suggestions when he knew it was necessary or we asked. We couldn't be happier. I highly recommend!

The job went very well. David came out right away to take a look and resealed some picture windows before heavy rains arrived. Windows stayed dry!

This was our 1st project with David, from the 1st phone conversation, David projected professionalism & a sincere interest in our project. He is well organized and stayed on schedule through at the remodel. Excellent workmanship and pleasure to work with.

We couldn't be happier with all of the work that was completed! Everything turned out great and faster that we were even expecting! The electrical quote came back higher than others, but the other quotes came back in a little lower. The higher cost for the electric was worth Dave coordinating with all of the guys to do the work and when everything should be done. We will be getting more quotes from him in the future for more work. Honest and does great work!

Experience was awesome, start to finish. Considering the amount of time and care he put into the work, the cost was a steal! I wanted a storm/screen door outside my front entry door which takes a severe beating from the southwest winds in the winter. The storm/screen door would also serve as a secondary containment for my dogs in case the main front door was opened by mistake :-) Dave was very quick to respond to phone/email. Helped me quickly narrow down storm/screen door options to best suit my needs. Went with low-E glass to minimize heating of main door. Dave took care of the entire process, ordered the door, picked it up when it arrived at the store, prepped the existing jamb (added structure to receive the storm/screen-door frame and painted it), installed, and tested the door. Dave pays a lot of attention to detail and noticed minor flaws in the door frame that was delivered that I may not have noticed. Got the frame exchanged quickly with minimum delay to the installation. While paint was drying, Dave inspected the exterior of the house and took care of several caulking/sealing tasks to prep the house for winter. We also identified a few minor settling/crack issues that he will take care of in the spring. Dave framed this house when it was originally built and watching him work is like watching an artist at work. He fixed several minor and major boo-boos made by the expensive trim carpenter who had been hired by the builder. Dave works efficiently, doesn't cut corners, and strives to provide an excellent value. He is a straight-shooter, has a quirky sense of humor which I really appreciate, and gets along great with dogs (brings his own treats for them!). I feel very comfortable trusting the care of my remodel/handyman needs to him and have referred him to several friends who have been equally thrilled with him (and still remain friends with me!).
