I arranged for handyman to tear up attic floor in finished room. Installed ducts, using old clothes shoot to access two locations on first floor and all rooms on second floor as well as attic. Installed air handler and outdoor unit.

My name was passed on to this company from the roofer I had that was replacing the roof where this tall vent pipe to the fireplace is. Within the hour that the roofer left, Matt called to discuss my needs and we set up an appointment time for him to come out. He arrived exactly on time and I showed him what I had and what I wanted. After some research it turns out that my retro fireplace is a collectors item and it took some digging by Matt to find out some information on it. He gave me several alternatives: to replace vent stack pipe with a different type of fireplace that was direct vent which would be much shorter of a stack out the roof, install a newer longer stack, or leave alone as it may not be the prettiest thing but it is and has worked well since the 70's. He hooked me up to a link of fireplace alternatives to look at too if I wanted. What i thought was going to be a simple project ended up not being so because of the nature of what I wanted to replace. Since what I had was still functional and after discussion with Matt, the solution that made the most sense was to just keep what I had and replace the old roof. I greatly appreciated the research that Matt had done, his integrity and honesty in not trying to sell me something, and the time and expertise that he brought to the table. I would call this company next time I am need of their services because of their professionalism and how nice they were to work with.
