+ -1 moreOverall, our experience with Kurtz Brothers was very poor. The product they delivered had chunks of wood, pieces of plastic, rope, stones, even a bag of dog poop in it. We confirmed with the Sweet Peet manufacturer in Brunswick that this type of material would not have passed their screen process. We notified Kurtz Brothers and they have given us the run-around. They even accused us of mixing "mulch from Marc's" into what they delivered to us. We took a sample of what they delivered to their facility at 13523 Broadway to compare, and it is definitely leaf compost, not Sweet Peet. The driver who delivered the six yards of mulch took a look at what we brought in and said "that's not what I delivered". Well, it was what they delivered. They sold us, delivered, and charged us for, the wrong product and won't admit it. However, they did credit us for one yard of Sweet Peet. The only bright spot was the female sales person who sold us the product, she seemed to agree with us but was trumped by the driver and the facility manager. We will never use this company again.
Description of Work: We ordered, and had delivered, six yards of "Sweet Peet" from the Kurtz Brothers facility located at 13532 Broadway, Garfield Hts., OH. We ordered this to top dress our lawn, front and back, which is roughly 4000 square feet total. They delivered on the date agreed but they did not deliver, in our opinion, what was shown as Sweet Peet from their Broadway facility; instead it was Leaf Compost, which is a less espensive, and not as high a quality, product.
