I think it went fine. I wasn't here when they did it. Nothing noted to indicate they didn't do a good job, though

Martin and Matt scheduled the work within a few days of purchasing the work/deal. They were prompt and did a walk around with me to assure we had a mutual understanding of the work to be performed. After the work was completed, they encouraged me to inspect everything to make sure I was satisfied. They were thorough and cleaned up everything. I believe I got good value for the time they put in and quality of the work.

They worked very fast, maybe too fast. It seemed like they were not applying the caulk neatly. It was almost dusk when they got here, so it appeared that they were kind-of slopping it on to get it done. They missed a window. I pointed it out, and they said I was wrong, that they had done it. I had to email them and tell them to come and show me where the caulk was. They then admitted they had missed it and would have to return to do it. They did, but I had to remind them a couple times to do it.

I would say clarify what work is to be done because I think I anticipated work in one area and it was done in a different area. It could just be part communication between the two of us. This was the first time I'd used this company.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and it went well. He was on time and straight to the point. He also gave me a picture of the inside of my chimney.

Done in one evening, ~4 hours of work for Matt and the gentleman helping him.

Matt Boc did a great job. He was responsive, punctual and professional. He explained exactly what needed to be done and quickly went to work to address the issues. I would definitely recommend J and B Caulking and Restoration Services to others and use Matt again in the future.

I was having trouble with a window that would leak during a severe downpour. Jand B came out and assessed the problem and confirmed that deteriorated caulking was probably the issue. They also assessed other windows and doors and made a recommendation and detailed quote for the work to be performed. I was very impressed with they way they walked me through the detail of the quote, walking around the house with me and pointing out the issues. I hired them to complete the work, which they did a few days later. They were prompt to return and did a great job. The problem is now resolved. I will use this company for any future caulking needs that may arise.

I contacted J and B through either a groupon or an Angie's List special. It was easy to schedule the work, which was performed on time. The workers left the area clean.

After purchasing the Big Deal he emailed me right away to try and tried schedule the appointment for the following day. Later that same day he turned around cancelled on me, not giving me any reason why, and said he contacted Angie's List for a refund which I have not yet received. I've contacted Angie's List for assistance and would be willing to use him if they can help us get this scheduled. If he can't keep up with appointments or do the work as scheduled, he shouldn't be offering big deals.

I called Mr. Boc and he responded very quickly both through voice mail and email. He was on time, gave us 2 options to repair/replace our chimney flues and emailed the estimates. I also liked that he used his phone to take pictures of the chimney and explain to me exactly what he would do. When the job was scheduled he was on time, worked hard, and finished the job quickly. My husband checked over the work and we were pleased with the whole process! Responsive, quick, good workmanship and a compeditive price! We would certainly hire him again.

It looks like the caulk was a basic job that looks as if they did not mold it into the creases. The job was finished shortly. Overall, it was an ok job. I did notice a little bit of residue that may have been left from the caulking job. Our bathroom also smelled of caulk for three or four days. PS: IN RESPONSE TO J and B's RESPONSE...NO, YOU ONLY HAD 2 CAULK COLOR OPTIONS FROM WHICH TO CHOOSE...BRIGHT WHITE and a DULL/too-dark BEIGE. (YOUR WORKMAN DID NOT HAVE CLEAR ON HIM, AT ALL, OTHERWISE and quot;sheand quot; (ME, the customer) WOULD'VE GONE WITH THAT...SINCE THAT'S THE COLOR WE ALREADY HAD IN OUR BATHROOM. IT'S NOT LIKE I HAD A HARD TIME DECIDING...WHAT WITH ONLY 2 COLORS, NEITHER VERY GOOD. (So much for you telling me, OVER THE PHONE, that you'd bring out and quot;a bunch of choices...with quality colors.and quot;) ALSO, WHO CARES IF WE REDEEMED THE COUPON and quot;ONE DAY BEFORE IT EXPIRED?and quot; IF THAT DAY WASN'T ACCEPTABLE, TO YOU, THAN IT'S UP TO YOU TO MAKE SURE YOUR COUPON EXPIRES SOONER THAN THAT DAY. DEC 21, 2011 UPDATE: Upon cleaning my tub, I'm finding some caulk already pulling away from the wall. - - - - - LATEST UPDATE (IN FAIRNESS TO J and B) - - - - - 4/19/12 Though I'm, admittedly, months delayed in this update, I would be remiss if I didn't at least let the Angie's List 'family' know that MATT (from J and B Caulking and Restoration) DID CALL US, following my DEC 21 complaint of caulk break-away (immediately above), and offered to come back out and RE-CAULK AT NO CHARGE (after first determining, with us, the best COLOR caulk for the job(s)) to show the company's commitment to and quot;customer satisfactionand quot; and with the hopes for an amended, improved Angie's List rating from us. My fiancee and I agreed that was a fair exchange; and, if the offer is still good -- we've been meaning to respond before now (but it's been a busy first quarter of '12) -- we would be willing to give J and B a 2nd chance...at a mutually agreed upon date when, this time, my FIANCEE (the and quot;heand quot; of and quot;weand quot;) will be available for final job inspection (versus 'just' me, the and quot;she,and quot; and my critical eyes, alone). They arrived and I did not have to be at home. They kept in touch with me and told me what he was going to do. Then I got a call and told me he was done.

The work went very well. I was pleased with the results and their knowledge and skill. Matt Boc and his partner arrived on time and were professional, courteous, and informative. They didn't waste time and the work sites were left nicely cleaned, too.

We were very happy with the work J and B did on our house. They were able to stop the issues we were having with water leaking into the interior of the house from around several of our windows and doors. We talked to a number of other contractors that were either baffled by our water issues, or unable to fix them. J and B was very professional, punctual, and pleasant to work with. They were responsive to us by phone and e-mail. Both before and after they completed the work, they walked around the entirety of the house discussing the work they would/did do. We plan to call them this spring for another project.

They left everything looking very new and nice. They put in the caulking very neatly around the tubs and showers. They were very helpful and gave suggestions, so they didn't leave any stones unturn. They noticed things, I hadn't noticed.

It took about a week because they had to stop on the days we got snow. They were very thorough and courteous. They did the work as quickly as they could and didn't keep us waiting. They were very thoughtful in looking into detail. They were very professional. They walk around and pointed out all the areas that needed work and completed them.
